- The King Family's younger set, The King Cousins, perform their popular Top Twenty segment on the family's 1965/66 TV series, The King Family Show. During this weekly segment the cousins would perform songs from the current hit parade in their signature letter sweater's. On this episode the songs include:
King of the Road - Don
Downtown - Tina Cole
The Freddy - Ray, Xan & Jon
Ferry Cross the Mersey - The girl cousins
Baby the Rain Must Fall - Ric
The Birds & the Bees - Jon
Stop in the Name of Love - Carolyn
Reelin' and a Rockin' - all the cousins
Also featured is the station break announcement by King kids Cam & Laurette!
I was hoping that eventually you would give us a "Top Twenty" segment, and here it is! What fun you all must have had, and the fact that you were so good is what makes all these clips timeless. What a legacy! Thank you so much for sharing it.

This segment was similar to the "Top Pop" portion of NBC's "HULLABALOO" [which premiered at the same time "THE KING FAMILY SHOW" did]- on that program, the guest host and their guest stars performed a medley of "top hits" that were "on the charts" at the time it was telecast. In early 1965, this aired on ABC's Saturday night schedule at 7:30pm(et).

Hooray....a new King Family post! This was the year I was born, and these are the songs my mom sang to me....we always watched the King Family specials and seeing this is very special. Thanks so much for posting!
Love the video. However, what happened to all of the cousins as the show went on? Later on it just seemed to focus Tina and Cathy Cole and 2 other cousins.
Love the video. What happened to most of these cousins? As the series/specials went on the cousins consisted of Tina and Cathy Cole + 2 other cousins (sorry, not sure of their names).
my favorite part was at the end with the 2 kids! That was funny!
