I remember listening to this a lot in your first single. It's great to see this song getting a PV like what happened with I want to see scary things, so neat! :D When Shannon posted this frame ( 1:36 ) on his Twitter, I knew that this song would be intriguing and mysterious as all other music made by him and... I was right! The ahoge doesn't seem to be a character detail because it appears/disappears randomly, perhaps it's just something from Shannon's art style. But even disregarding this and just matching by the outfit and eye color, Nagi, the boy from Light of Yomikudari, has amber eyes and uses the same clothing from the boy with blue eyes in this song. The only boys with blue eyes we got to know for now are the two kids in Fish Archeology. (Suguru Hoshino and Shannon himself in Apollo doesn't know the universe has kind of black eyes for me.) My best shot is that the blue-eyed in this song is the same one from the black-haired that appears in Fish Archeology since they both have a huge Jin plush and seems to like to draw, as seen in 0:18 (and at 0:25 in Fish Archeology, his plush is in the framed picture) About the amber-eyed boy, I have no clue, and we only know Nagi with this characteristic. Also, did he turn into a crow in 2:32? Well, that could explain a lot of things and double the mysteries, or that could be me just overthinking... Well, all I said could be completely wrong, and both kids in those songs could be the same person. They "switch" places/bodies between themselves? Who knows. ^^' At 0:31 we can see this kid listening to the same song we're listening to right now, and in Apolo doesn't know about the universe, we get to see an elderly Shannon Tweeting a good morning, counting up two Shannon in-verse appearances! XD Before listing the scenarios and details that we already have seen in other songs like I did in the previous music, I'd like to point out that these characters seem to have something to do with French... In I want to see scary things there's 'joyeux anniversaire', the teaser was called 'passe', now the teaser of this song was called 'nuit' etc. References I've found: 0:03 is the same street found in I want to see scary things 0:05 the same crow from I want to see scary things (and that song mentioned it there) 0:43 same flowers from Fish Archeology 0:55 it also appears in About Death and Underground and Land-Dwelling Fish 0:57 / 1:10 the bone dinosaur that appears in almost all Shannon songs 1:00 / 1:46 the shrine that appears in all Shannon songs 1:05 I think it's written "Heavy measuring instrument" and it's also seen in I want to see scary things, when the amber-eyed kid sees the white-haired boy. ... 今更ながらこの曲を見てると夜廻ってホラーゲームを思い浮かべる。幽霊が徘徊する死者の世とこの世が入り混じったような世界で犬や友達を探して回るんだけど、見つけた時にはもう遅かったり、すでに友達が亡くなっていて幽霊?の状態を見ていたり...と。それは死を経験したことのない主人公にとって「死んじゃうことよりもっと怖いこと」であり、怖いものが見たいとも話が繋がる。グラフィック感とかはあの世界もこの曲の世界観も似ていて、深夜になっていつもの街が別世界に変わるような背徳感というかしちゃいけないことをしてる感じ。そしてそこに現れるスリルというか生きていることの実感というかがたまらないんですよね。
