fully agree with everything you said. it's kinda sad how she's not getting as much support as before, however it makes sense because she's genuinely not as interesting anymore. imo she should stick to like playing the flute and/or modeling. i think many people forget how great she is at playing the flute & a lot of her photoshoots are breathtakingly gorgeous so i think if she enjoys that, focusing on those areas will bring her sucess again :)
Shes also an amazing entertainer and performer as well, and overall is a fun personality. I hope she moves towards that rather than this whole “look at me I’m sexy” act bc it’s just kinda meh. Like she’s very pretty and she can serve a look but idk. Ik it has a lot to do with jer image and self esteem and I relate with that a lot but she should focus on what she’s already good at or what comes easy to her.
It's sad for me because I was a major major Lizzo fan before she even went mainstream. It feels like she became another less genuine person to try and stay in the spotlight. Like you said, it became about the antics and not about her talent. Her songs Bus passes and happy meals and batches of cookies really made me fall for her. But it feels like instead of her coming from a place of being "fat is beautiful too" to "what unflattering outfit can I wear so people can talk about me and I can cry about it after?" I understand people change as time goes n but this is night and day.
another factor of why it flopped is probably because some of the biggest names in music (drake, lil nas x, kanye west) dropped albums right after she dropped Rumors. when you have an underwhelming song competing with some of the most anticipated albums and singles, its destined to flop
Lizzo definitely lost the plot. She was beloved for catchy tunes and a relatable persona. Once she began taking every critique too personally, and doubling down on any unsavory behavior, it became too much. We liked her because she was FUN, so injecting drama into everything ruins her whole vibe. Also her need to blame everything on "being a plus size woman" is absurd. We would've roasted anyone who showed up at the NBA game with their butt out - it's not just because you're fat, Lizzo. 😑
I agree, she's a bright light feeding into too much negativity. She's 100% allowed to get upset but it's almost like she lives off the drama now. Stooping to haters' level is out of character for her.
I personally think Lizzo is going to follow the path of a one album legend. I just don’t see her having enough appeal to have a long lasting commercial career.
One thing I thought maybe added to the flopping of the song was the time of release in the year. In it she states “just wait until summer when they let me out the house”, but the song was released in mid August, when summer was ending. It just didn’t seem like the right time to release a summer hit.
I don’t think problematic is the word, Lizzo has placed herself in a box. Her whole persona is “I’m fat”, she provokes negative reactions and then cries about it
Ironic and funny how when i found out about the lizzo allegations i immediately thought about you and this video saying "theres not much rumours about lizzo to make this song" 😭😭😭😭
I pretty much agree with everything you say. Even if Rumors grew on me, it feels like what Taylor Swift did during the Reputation era. Trying to comment on past transgressions for something of an artistic high. It's not natural and can come across as pedantic and can thoroughly date songs like this. With Cardi, I buy it especially given her career as a rapper, but for the most part, Lizzo is critically beloved. It seems that she's chasing trends rather than accentuate her strengths as an artist. Or to put it another way, there should be no reason Cardi is outraping Lizzo (see Lizzobangers). I appreciate some of the shout-outs to black people creating Rock and Roll, but it feels out of place on a song where Lizzo is trying to talk about her controversies. As far as the music, is better constructed than the majority of Cuz I Love You, but it's hard to feel that everyone wants Lizzo to create a universal fun song calling to her older days rather than her new stuff. Considering Cuz I Love You didn't really do much on the charts despite all that critical acclaim. If that's not the sign she should leave her label and reunite with Lazorbeak of Doomtree, I don't know what is. Finally, I get artists trying new things and the double standards, but Lizzo just doing clown stuff on social media is tiring and actually is alienating her fanbase. She doesn't have the supportive team or promotional rollout you get from a Kanye (to say nothing of the support), the GP only knows you for your radio-friendly pop stuff, why go through this. So yeah, Bad promo, bad timing (given other artists stole the show), and Lizzo herself, along with not really being a great song, is the reason it underperformed. I hope Lizzo wakes up and realize it's not because your fat, it's because you are beautiful and you are talented and we want to see that shine through rather than your antics. At the end of the day, it all falls on Lizzo.
Before y'all respond, Lizzo's representation is so important, but she needs to watch yourself as she can turn a major audience and could destroy her career.
Like the stuff she posts on tiktok is just no and the whole Chris evens situation like. Her on social media is just not it. It’s not even like she’s problematic it’s just weird and childish and makes people not take you seriously.
I think that sometimes she tends to sing and talk majorly about trendy things, which will just fade away and become forgettable. And that’s not what happened with “cuz i love you”, for instance. It is full of punch lines and witty lyrics and not necessarily just a bunch of memes piled up. Still i love rumours lol. It is not as great as what she has already done, but i love her
Her social attitude may be questionable. But man, every song in "Cuz I love you" is a special and unique, written and produced masterfully, and I hope she continues on that line!
I actually really like the song rumors ! I love Lizzo and I think she is amazingly talented. I just feel that no matter what she does people will criticize her because she’s a bigger woman. So in a sense she’s being held to a different standard. I really hope her next single is a good one too!
Lizzo falls under the mis-categorized/misunderstood lane. She is talented but her mistake was letting Atlantic push her as a rapper the same way Nicki or doja is. She isn’t, just like cardi she is just an entertainer
She actually doesnt rap too bad. Nothing amazing but much better than some of the newer rappers nowadays. But like you said she is more of an entertainer
@@omivnr3858 What's the label supposed to do? I don't think Atlantic is making her put her bare ass on Instagram live or twerk in children's playgrounds. The truth is she just has an obnoxious personality, and does not know to come off as endearing and fun the same way Cardi and Doja Cat do. She comes off extremely insecure, and if you're not oozing confidence and self-assurance, the music industry is just bound to destroy you. Considering that she only digs her hole deeper and deeper, and the quality of the music isn't there, her record label can't do much other than just promote her and hope something sticks
This is my first time I’ve landed on your channel and I completely agree...this wasn’t hate, it literally was an honest critique...I think the reason why her song flopped is simple because she was insecure...if you’re insecure from within its gonna shine through on the outside and the public is gonna pick up on it...people aren’t stupid...I think she just jumped on it because she didn’t want the opportunity to pass her by, but if you’re gonna do that you got to make sure you’re ready for it, and she obviously wasn’t
That is what is so frustrating about her as in artist. She has so much talent, but chooses to make mediocre music. She can also play the flute pretty well too, but does not incorprate that into her music at all which is a huge missed opportunity. As it stands right now, her overall music catalog is weak.
It’s fine if lizzo because a Jason Derulo type figure of this generation. But I truly believe she’s too talented to just be an influencer with occasionally good music.
@@TheLevantine that’s exactly my point though. She has the idea and talent. Just not the nerve to make an absolute monster of a record. She’s playing it safe when she truly is one of the only pop girls that could honestly go beyond what she’s known for.
@@TheLevantine honestly I agree with u, and it’s irritating bc she had several potential hits on that album. And I’m not just saying that cuz I like the sounds or cuz I’m a delusional stan (I like her a lot but I’m not really a stan), she (or I guess her record label) really pushed Truth Hurts and Good As Hell, which were both over a year old at the time. I think she should’ve used the momentum from those songs and then pushed more recent songs, Water Me definitely was going to be a hit in late 2019, Juice should’ve been pushed in the summer after Truth Hurts went #1; instead of releasing a random MV for Tempo which is just okay. Soulmate should’ve been a single instead that Ariana remix on GaH, and then Cuz I love you in early 2020. See she could’ve had a major era with hit after hit, instead she focused way to much on two songs, and then literally completely stopped pushing at a certain point. Her label just didn’t realize her potential
Everyone's argument is omg shes so talented and can sing, ok there are thousands of talented people who don't get to do what they want to. Just because she blew up once doesn't mean she can keep the traction and build a big career, which is why we see so many artists come and go. Its about knowing what you do and how you do it even if you arent as talented as others.
Based on the comments, I was thinking I was the only one. 😨👀🦝🗑️ Music can be playful, and "Rumors" in a playful to me. The way both Lizzo and Cardi do different voice work is sooo fun to me.
I just felt like the chorus didn't pop, it's not something you really want to sing along to. The song is another dose of upbeat confidence, which I'm here for, but she already has better songs that do that. I don't really care about the stunts etc one way or the other.
I used to really love and support lizzo, and i always thought a lot of the hate she got was really unnecessary, then that clip of her gushing to chris brown, calling him her 'favourite person' came out and i lost a lot of respect for her :/
I just saw lizzo live this past weekend at a musical festival in SF. She’s very gifted!! But damn everytime she spoke I cringed. she can sing about whatever she wants if she can just bring the authenticity or at least make it catchy 🤷🏿♀️
Well Rumors did go #4 on the Hot 100 so it's a top 5 hit I only listen to it to hear Cardi part but the real reason it didn't last is because Lizzo never promoted it.
I got tired of Rumors after only a week of being out. All of Lizzo’s antics just discouraged me even more from listening to it. Cardi definitely saved the song though
Glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like this song. I saw exactly what you’re expressing. She came off as very try hard, very trying to prove something. But not saying much.
This is the reason why I choose not to follow many celebs on social media. I realized ages ago that whenever I found out what artists were really were like or got to know about their personalities through their posts and videos it pushed me away from their music. Now I just separate the artist from music and just keep track of their latest songs at most
Lizzo is a talented, beautiful girl, with loads of confidence, and determination, and she has the highest potential of being a main pop girlie, but she needs to stop trying to be so controversial, and tarnishing the good thing that she has going for herself, showing your butt at a lakers game, and wearing dresses that shows your whole body and showing your behind on the sink that’s not self love, and body goals that’s just her forcing an unwanted, and unneeded narrative upon herself, and I love how she makes people feel giving them confidence, but at the same time have respect for yourself, and give us that great music we all know you can make
She is definitely fighting something on the inside, her online personality very much just comes off as desperate/sad. They way she replies back to everything like cardi b is becoming more often.
MY THOUGHTS: Rumors is not a bad song for me once it came out but after 1-2 weeks, I totally not feel the vibe of the song anymore. For me, Juice is still a masterpiece and I hope she can make songs that is more catchy and inspiring just like her previous works
It sounds out dated, like I remember that time period when pop music was like that; it’s very commercially and I wouldn’t be surprised if I hear it in movies.
The reason why rumors flopped is because Lizzo is loss spiritually, if you hear her old singles and her npr performance she so soulful its amazing. But her fighting her demons in acting like she is confident is hurting her creativity and art.
Lizzo is a good artist and has lots of potential to make an amazing and long-charting song. So I’m hopeful that her next release will be better and have better staying power, showing major improvements. If she takes the time to reflect looking back on this release or this video in order to know what improvements to make. ;)
please understand that flopping doesnt mean being too low or not being in the Hot 100 flopping contributes to the content structure and the way the song represents itself and how it is constructed a song can go up to #4 on charts cause people were listening to it at the same time and because they all just heard about it so of course it tops the charts but flopping is more about the content not the chart position and stream number
It’s that break she took and I also feel like there’s newer artists right now so no one is listening to her. I just feel like some artist shouldn’t take those long breaks cuz they’re new artists ppl will forget about u and ur hype will die down it’s sad but that’s how music is shifting now
I feel like she would do really good in theatre 🎭 She theatrical has the personality for it. But so far as her music, It doesn’t really move me, but probably because I considered it to be music for commercials🤣
My issues is her antics (ex. baring all during an IG live). She is letting her antics and criticisms over her body overshadow her talents. Sidenote "Don't Go Yet" by Camila Cabello flopped harder
I remember someone said on Tik Tok "People don't like Rumors because they don't like Lizzo" and she liked and commented that she agreed and it's like no sis, we don't like Rumors because it's a bad song.
Rumors... is basically her response to the backlash she received 2 years ago (from that basketball game she was at). The song is either intentionally or unintentionally, late. So it's very "off putting" because she hasn't been relevant or in the news lately, so there's no real "rumors" about her right now. It's an off putting song for a reason. It's late. Had she put it out when she was getting all the controversy, it would've been HUGE.
Every single time an artist makes a song that is all about themselves it becomes not relatable to the audience and it flops, unless they have some hot tea to spill that everyone is already waiting for it, for example, let’s say Britney came out with a personal song about her recent struggle, would probably be a hit because it’s something people are thirsty for it. It’s sad because you would think Lizzo would be smart enough to get a better comeback content for her lyrics.
And like how she's said 'chris brown is her favorite person on the planet', like who tf supports him in 2021!? He's a known abuser. Stuff like that makes me like her less :/
@@michaelbryan4586 I used to think so but getting through 30 songs on his albums just became a tiresome chore. Besides being an abuser, colorist, and just overall horrible person Chris brown doesn’t have much to say
I absolutely agree with you because even my mom who doesn't know that much about that all american artists things (especially about artists like cardi lizzo megan etc) has said that after watching of rumors she doesn't like belive lizzo. She doesn't belive in her confidence and what she does. For comparing I also asked her watch wap. Rumors went Gold. Lizzo didnt promote it at all. She didnt perform it on any late night show, morning show, or award show but it still went gold. She just performed in front of 70k of her fans over the past weekend while headlining outland music festival in San Francisco. She is unbothered.
it's not catchy and has zero replay value. People don't wanna click on a song about addressing haters and hear "black people made rock and roll yeah" it's just all over the place
She's extremely talented and charismatic.. I only wish she would focus on her craft and let go of all the bullshit. Just take break from social media for a while
Agree. The amount of times she showed up on my fyp and the video had a snippet of her showing some part of her body or doing something that would be mildly controvertial
Maybe because it was trash lol. I hate when people take their music not being good personal. It’s not because she’s heavy it’s because the song was corny
Lizzo was just a one-hit wonder, her song Truth Hurts became a meme and everyone had a good laugh, but now that’s worn on and people have moved onto the next thing that’s popular.
peaked at number 4 and people still call her song a flop? 🤨🤨 im not a stan, but this type of shit is so damaging for new artists filled with impossible expectations and goals, aside from the actual song, NUMBER 4 IS NOT A FLOP 🙄
I loved her and tokyo vanity's first set of projects. I thought it was unique, very catchy, and creative. To me, both ladies focused too much on trying to be popular or say the right things to get attention. There's no need to do this. They've already talented and beautiful.
Song sucks, but I will say I love the aesthetic of the music video, and wish that the Ancient Greek pottery theme was used on a better song, cause it's such an amazing idea and Lizzo looks amazing in it. Song sucks ass tho, I like the idea of her wanting to be a provocateur and a sex symbol for bigger girls, since everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin, but I think she needs to do it in a way where it sounds like she's having fun, which I didn't get on Rumors. She sounded like she was trying something new but wasn't sure. Great idea, bad execution. Her appearance on Eric Andre was funny as hell though, you can't deny that she was perfect for a Bird Up segment
rumors was not good as her latest songs she had, and as a lead single for a second album is not strong enough, also the lyrics and the chorus are meh, i think that's why it flopped
For me i found the horn-line kinda corny. That and what rumours? since Lizzo went to an NBA match with her ass hanging out i've heard radio silence about her, which is crazy cause she was everywhere in 2019.
i love lizzo sm. but honestly i think they focused more on chart peak numbers/ making achievements rather than a quality song while making Rumors. it just wasn’t a great song

I agree since disco and funk are coming back into the spotlight again, so we could've had like a sister song to Juice.
Or literally just Juice. All of her hits are several years old by the point they actually gain traction.
fully agree with everything you said. it's kinda sad how she's not getting as much support as before, however it makes sense because she's genuinely not as interesting anymore. imo she should stick to like playing the flute and/or modeling. i think many people forget how great she is at playing the flute & a lot of her photoshoots are breathtakingly gorgeous so i think if she enjoys that, focusing on those areas will bring her sucess again :)
Agreed
I really hope she just leaves the whole shenanigans and concentrate fully on just her music. She's so talented & has so much to offer.
another factor of why it flopped is probably because some of the biggest names in music (drake, lil nas x, kanye west) dropped albums right after she dropped Rumors. when you have an underwhelming song competing with some of the most anticipated albums and singles, its destined to flop
Lizzo need a character development arc
The thing is I fully love Lizzo and her aura but her music isn't hitting the same wave length for me.
literally forgot about this song lol
@@StreamZ1EP Damn why you mad in the comments?

I personally think Lizzo is going to follow the path of a one album legend. I just don’t see her having enough appeal to have a long lasting commercial career.
That was a fluke
cuz I love you was great in my opinion then it just went downhill afterwards
I agree
lol
One thing I thought maybe added to the flopping of the song was the time of release in the year. In it she states “just wait until summer when they let me out the house”, but the song was released in mid August, when summer was ending. It just didn’t seem like the right time to release a summer hit.
She is overexposed.
She’s been crying on Live, complaining on Twitter, and being problematic overall.
Her fans will attack, but that’s 100% accurate. Bitches about people addressing her weight, yet is basically naked in the music video.
how she's problematic? I almost know nothing about her lol.
agree with the 1st two things, but yeah how is she problematic? the only thing ik of is people being mad at her for saying she likes chris brown
I don’t think problematic is the word, Lizzo has placed herself in a box. Her whole persona is “I’m fat”, she provokes negative reactions and then cries about it
People overuse the term problematic to the point it’s desensitized from its meaning
The song is a bit awkward, and honestly cardi didn’t say nothing new either.
Well there really nothing new under the sun when it comes to music if we're being honest
Juice is an absolute banger.
Ironic and funny how when i found out about the lizzo allegations i immediately thought about you and this video saying "theres not much rumours about lizzo to make this song" 😭😭😭😭
I’m not a fan of cardi but her verse was the most fun on this record. Juice is my favourite song and tempo. Rumours just felt a bit too corny.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Chloe’s solo career
Her latest single “About damn time” came out recently,Luckily she’s went back to her old self and it’s doing way better on the charts than rumors
Yeah I don’t think she should be labeled as a rapper. She’s amazing singer who CAN rap and does sometimes in her music.
Omg this right here correct her label is just doing terrible 😞 but hey its one of the worst and they should market her way different
@@cityboy2092 ohh Noo agree for sure but that label is also not doing promo just like with there other artist but it’s 50/50 label and her fault
It flopped because it was a terrible song imo, she is too talented to be making cheesy songs like that, beautiful voice but she rarely uses it.
That is what is so frustrating about her as in artist. She has so much talent, but chooses to make mediocre music. She can also play the flute pretty well too, but does not incorprate that into her music at all which is a huge missed opportunity. As it stands right now, her overall music catalog is weak.
@@djmeagaaim17 yes exactly
It’s fine if lizzo because a Jason Derulo type figure of this generation. But I truly believe she’s too talented to just be an influencer with occasionally good music.
Exactly. She has so much potential I hope it doesn't go to waste in the long run
She is talented artist that chose to make the most generic, and frankly mediocre music out there.
i'm not gonna lie i'm obsessed with this song ever since it came out
Because you have taste, Bang PD-nim
Me when I lie
I like it too.

Based on the comments, I was thinking I was the only one. 😨👀🦝🗑️ Music can be playful, and "Rumors" in a playful to me. The way both Lizzo and Cardi do different voice work is sooo fun to me.
For someone who claims to be so secure in her skin, she is the most insecure out of everyone. It's 2021, being a big girl is not a personality trait.
I just felt like the chorus didn't pop, it's not something you really want to sing along to. The song is another dose of upbeat confidence, which I'm here for, but she already has better songs that do that. I don't really care about the stunts etc one way or the other.
I used to really love and support lizzo, and i always thought a lot of the hate she got was really unnecessary, then that clip of her gushing to chris brown, calling him her 'favourite person' came out and i lost a lot of respect for her :/
Please make longer videos !!! I could listen to your analysis for hours
Agreed!
She promoted it a lot on tiktok
The way you lie
Please fucking stood this song was pre-listed on TTH don’t even
I got tired of Rumors after only a week of being out. All of Lizzo’s antics just discouraged me even more from listening to it. Cardi definitely saved the song though
She should have put out a EP or something in summer of 2020. It feels like she missed her window
She’s the type of artist that would impact the music industry and then go flop hard and never be heard of.
almost like missy elliot
2:32 to be fair, cardi released press and that flopped too. the whole rumors/press vibe just isnt super relatable to most people
Press didn’t flop wth
Rumors definitely wasn't gonna outlast Wild Side
Yep wildside is the girl
now make one about why “BOYZ” flopped
Glad I wasn’t the only one who didn’t like this song. I saw exactly what you’re expressing. She came off as very try hard, very trying to prove something.
But not saying much.
This is the reason why I choose not to follow many celebs on social media. I realized ages ago that whenever I found out what artists were really were like or got to know about their personalities through their posts and videos it pushed me away from their music. Now I just separate the artist from music and just keep track of their latest songs at most
Lizzo is a talented, beautiful girl, with loads of confidence, and determination, and she has the highest potential of being a main pop girlie, but she needs to stop trying to be so controversial, and tarnishing the good thing that she has going for herself, showing your butt at a lakers game, and wearing dresses that shows your whole body and showing your behind on the sink that’s not self love, and body goals that’s just her forcing an unwanted, and unneeded narrative upon herself, and I love how she makes people feel giving them confidence, but at the same time have respect for yourself, and give us that great music we all know you can make
If anyone has heard her songs Soulmate and Fitness, they know exactly the type of sound that works for Lizzo. I just don’t think rumors was it.
She is definitely fighting something on the inside, her online personality very much just comes off as desperate/sad. They way she replies back to everything like cardi b is becoming more often.
MY THOUGHTS:
Rumors is not a bad song for me once it came out but after 1-2 weeks, I totally not feel the vibe of the song anymore. For me, Juice is still a masterpiece and I hope she can make songs that is more catchy and inspiring just like her previous works
YES after a couple weeks of rumors I just stopped listening now I only listen to Cardis verse
Facts
I think she talks about the same thing. We don’t really know who Lizzo is. She talks smack and plays the big girl schtick.
Lizzo is a good artist and has lots of potential to make an amazing and long-charting song. So I’m hopeful that her next release will be better and have better staying power, showing major improvements. If she takes the time to reflect looking back on this release or this video in order to know what improvements to make. ;)
Watching this after she released About Damn Time, is so interesting.
please understand that flopping doesnt mean being too low or not being in the Hot 100 flopping contributes to the content structure and the way the song represents itself and how it is constructed a song can go up to #4 on charts cause people were listening to it at the same time and because they all just heard about it so of course it tops the charts but flopping is more about the content not the chart position and stream number
Her last album was the shit, she poured her emotions into it. Yes she was shaking ass but that wasn’t her whole persona.
It’s that break she took and I also feel like there’s newer artists right now so no one is listening to her. I just feel like some artist shouldn’t take those long breaks cuz they’re new artists ppl will forget about u and ur hype will die down it’s sad but that’s how music is shifting now
All I remember about this song is cardi's verse 😭
I feel like she would do really good in theatre 🎭 She theatrical has the personality for it. But so far as her music, It doesn’t really move me, but probably because I considered it to be music for commercials🤣
I love her song 'Juice'. I wish she had more songs like this, also 'Good as hell' and 'Tempo'.
My issues is her antics (ex. baring all during an IG live). She is letting her antics and criticisms over her body overshadow her talents. Sidenote "Don't Go Yet" by Camila Cabello flopped harder
"Don't go yet" is a boring song.
The song is genuinely just random, especially the lyrics
Why haven't you talked about Planet Her yet?
If the own artist of the song is SICK of their own music, what do you expect the audience will do?
The lil shade at the end omg
Every single time an artist makes a song that is all about themselves it becomes not relatable to the audience and it flops, unless they have some hot tea to spill that everyone is already waiting for it, for example, let’s say Britney came out with a personal song about her recent struggle, would probably be a hit because it’s something people are thirsty for it. It’s sad because you would think Lizzo would be smart enough to get a better comeback content for her lyrics.
And like how she's said 'chris brown is her favorite person on the planet', like who tf supports him in 2021!? He's a known abuser. Stuff like that makes me like her less :/

She doesn't belive in her confidence and what she does. For comparing I also asked her watch wap. She said that megan is the way better in case how she can introduce herself and her talent rightly

How did it flop if it peaked at #4?? Just because a song doesn't hit #1, doesn't mean it flopped. Makes it makes sense!
The song was bad and when she saw the feedback, she immediately went on live to say people Called her a mammy which I didn’t see
Exactly!
Rumors went Gold. Lizzo didnt promote it at all. She didnt perform it on any late night show, morning show, or award show but it still went gold. She just performed in front of 70k of her fans over the past weekend while headlining outland music festival in San Francisco. She is unbothered.
The song sounded like it would be used in baby pampers commercials that’s why
I actually liked this song I’m surprised people didn’t like it
it's not catchy and has zero replay value. People don't wanna click on a song about addressing haters and hear "black people made rock and roll yeah" it's just all over the place
She's extremely talented and charismatic.. I only wish she would focus on her craft and let go of all the bullshit. Just take break from social media for a while
That ending statement was so cool, I liked the play on words
Agree. The amount of times she showed up on my fyp and the video had a snippet of her showing some part of her body or doing something that would be mildly controvertial
it is really sad ! she has so much potential , rumors is an ACTUAL good song ! i'm disappointed in people now
Maybe because it was trash lol.
2 hit*
Not a one hit wonder. People know good as hell and juice.
peaked at number 4 and people still call her song a flop?
I still high key want to hear you review doja's new album 😭
The only thing I liked about the song is the cover. They look stunning in it.
I loved rumors. It sounds like any other Lizzo song to me. So idk.
rumors was not good as her latest songs she had, and as a lead single for a second album is not strong enough, also the lyrics and the chorus are meh, i think that's why it flopped
For me i found the horn-line kinda corny. That and what rumours? since Lizzo went to an NBA match with her ass hanging out i've heard radio silence about her, which is crazy cause she was everywhere in 2019.
Does even Lizzo have fans like how Ariana has the arianators or how Taylor swift has the swifties….?
i love lizzo sm. but honestly i think they focused more on chart peak numbers/ making achievements rather than a quality song while making Rumors. it just wasn’t a great song
