haha I know personally my interest in channels wanes as do my hyper fixations (most of which don't last 18 months) so I would not blame anyone for moving on at all, but I am so so grateful that some people haven't and for all the reassurance! 💕

I already commented, but engagement is everything, so I’m commenting again. I’m so extremely excited that you’re back. Honestly, you don’t super need to explain your mental health if you don’t feel you can do that. I follow you on Patreon (under a different name) and I said something similar, but I want to reiterate it. Mental health is so very difficult and I think we’re all just happy you made it through and can create again. Some people just have gifts, and I think you have one for sewing. Your designs and eye for style is something otherworldly. Your ability to see what I would regard as ugly fabric and make it into the most beautiful dress ever is why we all support you. I really hope you stay around, Angela, you’re so fun to watch
I literally just talked about how much I was worried about you; I have bipolar disorder myself and fell out of creating costumes for a few years because of my mental illness. I'm glad you're doing better and feel more creative again; I don't know if it helps but you're not alone in your struggles. This dress is beautiful and I'm glad to see you creating again!

@@AngelaClaytonCostumery oh gods i know; i’m on a combo of an snri, atypical antipsychotic, and some antianxiety/antidepressant. i had to get off my last mood stabiliser despite the stability it gave me because i could NOT work on any costumes or write poetry or anything and i was going crazy. i’m doing better now and glad to see you recovering as well; people only worry if they care about you! that’s how i remind myself not to feel guilt for disappearing for my health some years back. i’ve been following your work since your sakizo cosplay when i was 17 and starting to learn how to sew so i just wanted to reach out and let you know how many of us understand these struggles and that even if it happens, long-time and old supporters will stick around even if the algorithm does you dirty.
It is so wonderful to see you back! Depression is no joke and your health always comes first, so definitely take all the time you need :)

As usual, I'm blown away by the ingenuity and taste of making most wild combinations of fabrics, trims, and ideas that i feel like no one else in the world would've come up with, and have it work. This already looks so cool, can't wait to see more of the process!

Gurl I don't know who is unsubscribing from amazing content creators just because they're not constantly producing but eff them. We're here for YOU and the amazing work you do, regardless of how long it takes. Time really does fly when you're clinically depressed. The days are long but somehow a year can go by in a blink. The way I gasped , yes yes we are interested in you. You've been such an inspiration for me, we are pretty much the same age and when I saturated sewing I feel so alone and lost because all the people that I sa sewing where older then me and I tought that I couldn't do it, but watching you sew all those complicated gowns truly gave me the push to actually continue sewing.
