The dress turned out amazing! I love the detailing you put into the trim; the details take it to the next level! Also, this is completely random, but I saw you at the Georgia Renaissance Festival last month. I work there as a cast member; you were crossing a bridge and I was standing with my group, when an older gentleman fell off a bench. After we helped him up, we talked to him for a bit just to make sure he was okay and you continued on. I wanted to say hello but you were gone by the time the situation was resolved, and I didn't see you the rest of the day. I was kinda sad, but grateful to see you in passing!
Oh my gosh that was you?!? I'm sorry we ran off so fast after that man fell, I'm glad he was okay. Next time we will definitely have to stop and chat 😊
Your gown is absolutely stunning! I love the colors you chose and is that little butterflies I see? The fit is perfect and what really makes the gown is your great big smile. It's perfect.
I love the dress, and what an amazing experience going to the Fetes Gallants! I especially like the butterflies. Thank you for breaking down your process as this will make it easy to follow in the future for construction (as this seems to be a detailed project, especially adding on the trims and ruffles). Thank you for sharing!
I loved your dress! Wish I could go to something like that. I also really likeed your hair. Beautifully dramatic.I am in my 70's and my grandma made dresses for the movie stars in the 1940's and 50's. You remind me of her. ❤
I love using this pattern. I also had to lower my Stomacher piece. I absolutely adore your choice of colours. Watching this video has made me want to make another dress.
Something you can do right now that cost nothing is create a mood board of ideas for what you want to wear. Or just start looking at the hotels around the palace, start dreaming and planning and then the money will come 😊
Hi Casey! I have a question: when you make skirts that go over something, ex. a bum roll or panniers, how do you make sure your hem is even all the way around?

Thank you so much, I love how it turned out and I always can go back and do the weathered moth stuff, the dress isn't going anywhere 😍

That makes me feel so good to know that you had to lower the stomacher too! Also you totally should make another dress, just saying 😝
Beautiful dress! I am happy for you for going to this event. I really loved your words at the beginning of the video. Found them motivating.
I'm really happy I did it too, I often talk myself out of these kinds of things and I'm happy that I didn't this time.
That was an amazing experience and love the dress so fitting to you!
Thank you so much!

You can hem them over whatever hoop structure or bum rolls you intent to wear them with.
