hey guys, what a brilliant idea to spend short time apart!!! Leah, you said it so well. Glad that you both got to see a little of your past. You both looked so cute when you reunited!! Cheers and stay safe on the road!! Please consider a plan B with the fires on your route.
3:30: "Have a good one, eh?" made me laugh so hard.
The Canada comes out stronger when you’re in Canada eh?
Eh
That’s so cool! Can’t wait till the next one! And Leah you did perfect with the camera!! 👍
Thanks so much for being here! 🥰🙏🏻
Couldn’t agree more! Great job, Leah!🎉
You did a great job filming Leah!
Another great video, as always! Always puts a smile on my face to see you guys :)
Cheers from Edmonton! Hope you'll enjoy our province despite the fires.
(btw, you crushed it Leah!)
Thank you! (from leah) and yes! We're in Alberta right now and the smoke is pretty intense 😬
Awww Leah's mom care package was so sweet!!
Thank you guys for all the great videos!! ❤
Safe travels!! You did fine with the filming Leah!
I agree with Leah on that sunsetter peach beer and non alcoholic options in general. Sober Carpenter is also another good option. I am still able to drink but it hits the spot when you want beer without the buzz. I also second Levi on the sour cream glazed.
Good to see a lot of enthusiasm, and going back to the roots and remembering life. 🤗🤗
Your filming was fine Leah :) wow that sunset you got Levi that was amazing! Another great video ❤
Thank you to include some history of your families to your trip, it's so valuable. Here in Montréal every day on the news we hear about the fires in Alberta ! I'm am worry for you both and the baby, please be careful as much as possible, you are that kind of people who bring hope for the future. 🌎👪💛
Thanks so much for this message 🥰
Aww the nostalgia of visiting the old home places. Leah, you rocked the solo travel and filming! I love the naked camping teaser. 😂😂 Love from the Abby lady! ❤
Haha well thank you for watching!
I love the baby updates!! Babies bring good energy!!! I send best wishes for your continuing journey!! Lovelove!
Thanks for being here! 🥰🙏🏻
@@LeahandLevi you're welcome! : )
Great watch as always 🙏🏿👊🏿
Enjoy the journey
Who all are more concerned about Levi alone in the Prius overnight than Preggo Lea overnight in the RV?
🥰🥰🥰
Winnipeg, you are 1 min from my house at the opening segment of the show! haha
Leah did a great job filming.
Congratulations 🎉 u 2 are gonna be amazzzzziiiing parents ❤
Awesomeness ❤
A fantastic historical side trips.I have always enjoyed visiting my family history it has taken us to Worchester England Summerstown ont to Montreal que.
Thanks for the smile.
So cool to see you go through Manitoba. Hello from Brandon Manitoba 😊
Thank you! 🙏🏻🥰
If it wasn’t building up to tourist season in the Gimli area I totally would have asked for you guys to stop by. I’m unfortunately just swamped at work currently 😂 glad you got to spend some time in Manitoba, though! ❤
Haha is Levi’s reaction to the waste water foreshadowing to any baby diaper-blow-out scenarios?? 😂
Haha I mean yeah I guess that will happen eventually lol
My mother in law is from Plum Coulee, just one of the thousands of Dycks in the world. Then married a Klassen! So Meno! haha
Sad to see you didn’t spend much time in the Lake Superior/Thunder Bay/Kenora areas! So many beautiful places to camp and hike. How you come back this way someday!
We'll be back but we have to get home now sadly... the realities of being pregnant 🤷🏻♂🥹
If you haven’t heard there are wildfires in Alberta.
We’re in Alberta right now and yeah… it’s bad. 😬
Born and raised New Englander here and no Dunkin' for me either.
I did not realize that you were Hockey fans and even dare I say Edmonton fans? Watching playoff hockey while you eat/do dishes nice!
Nice to see your check in. My dog, Duke, say hello.
Hey Duke! 🙋🏻♂️🤩
The my grandfather's side of my mom's family was meningitis too.
"..Okay bye!" 😂❤
I think it's a great idea to take some baby(haha no pun intended) steps apart after being physically together for so long. I feel like our energies get mushed together with our constant companions, and if you suddenly stop being with that person it would be a literal shock to the system. Or at least it is for me lol I'd mourn my partner even if it was just going back to your separate jobs 😂
Also I think what makes dunkin and timmy's taste good to anyone is nostalgia and familiarity ☕️
I like how the first half of this comment was supr meaningful and thoughtful, and the next is like "yeah timmies is trash haha" thank you for being here 🙏🏻🥰
@@LeahandLevi ♥️ y'all!
Great video! As an American Midwesterner, I would agree that Tim Horton is so much better than Dunkin. Likely an unpopular opinion for those in the Northeast who adore the Dunkin.
My wife: “anything is better than Dunkin.”😂
Omg I screamed at the splooshin 💩 sound.... 😂wait till baby comes you'll have sploosh on more than just your hands.😅😅😅
Amazing video 👍, What did you guys think about Mexico after all? I've been seeing the news and its always shootings and Cartel making issues in different areas of Mexico.
Love your channel with Leah and following your adventures. My hubby and I are from Michigan and concur totally on your assessment of Timmies vs Dunkin. Several years ago we used to be kind of addicted to drive through coffee and while traveling would hit up these places and we thought the exact same thing. Timmies is at least more consistent in the quality and the cream is more authentic when we were lucky and got a fresh pot. Its actually semi ok. Dunkin is just plain weird. The coffee is usually burnt and old and the cream was thick and just unnatural and strange tasting. After years of hit and miss on the quality of either, we gave up and just brew our own from home and put it in high quality thermos's for the road. In Europe we could always get an excellent and perfect cup of cappuccino no matter where we were. Now back in the US we can't reliably get anything good anywhere unless we make it ourselves.
Agree ! We brew our own and take with us. I like a pour over latte now so I take it with me . If, IF I need coffee outside of home made I have a couple little coffee shops I like , one is European the other is Asian mom/pop stores. McDonald’s is ok, much smoother than Tim’s . 😊
Yeah sadly these institutions are never going to be as good as what you can get from a local coffee shop or at home... but its fun to compare these giants you know? haha thanks for the comment!
2, makes solo, very interesting.
Levi, you're originally a menonite! That's really cool.😉
I remember that experience of feeling my children when I was pregnant! Enjoy!
Nice MSR Dragonfly, dude
Sour Cream Glazed -- YES!!! The best 110% sugar and a whole lotta fat tho....
There's a Dunkin or maybe it's a Krispy Kreme? in Delta not far from the US border and I can vouch for the coffee there much better than most.
Cheers!...from North Vancouver
You have the bathroom. Yea!!
I've had coffee at Tim Hortons and Duncan and been fairly happy with both. I mean not as happy as I am at my local coffee shop, but fairly. As for the donuts, I've never met a donut I didn't like, unfortunately for my waistline. For context I live and am from the western US.
Leah was watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs!!!?? I know you all are Canadian, but don't strike me as sports-peeps haha thats awesome!
Haha yeah we follow the Jets and the Oilers mostly but really any canadian team will do!
Where’s your 🧤 gloves to dump black tank. 😂
😊
Very similar to where we would go in Altona and Halbstadt to see family and family heritage stuff. I guess you guys didn’t go to the Mennonite museum in Steinbach?
Didn't get there no!
I grew up in Massachusetts where it's sort of mandatory to like Dunkies. I think it's easier to be biased towards whichever crappy donut place one grew up with. Like, I know Dunkin isn't actually good, but I still like it better than Tim Horton's.
Lol the flavour is nostalgia haha
There was a video
I’d love to hear both your thoughts on the no overnight camping rules. Whats its history in Canada and the us? Do you guys have a different opinion after traveling and boondocking so much? Is it not wanting people experiencing homeless there or based in something else? Hope you guys are doing well. Thanks for the content!
I think we always need a little time away from our partners, too. But being pregnant makes it different somehow. I had flown to Europe on a Thursday for school and then found out Sunday I was pregnant. It was weird to not be together esp at the beginning bc you have only each other to talk about it....
Oh wow that time lapse was crazy!!
Kinda like seeing your kid leave to somewhere for sure. We all know who the kid is. Wrong time of year to really see the wilds of Superior.
Tim's and Dunkin both suck, but Dunkin is not fit for consumption. Starbucks is not great either, but can make do if it is all that is available. I think the people that like these spots are all people that are ordering a specialty drink. Which that is what you want, they probably are all about the same in quality with lots of sugar and artificial flavor. If you are just looking for a decent cup of coffee? I bring some high quality instant in my pack in case I do not have time to find a local option.
Always go for the local spots!
I’m an American who was married to a Canadian (he passed away) and hands down Tim Horten’s is better than DD’s.
Sorry for your loss...and happy that you came to the "Tim Side!"
Levi, I agree Tim’s is better , however it is not as good as it used to be . Tim’s is no longer owned by a Canadian corporation,
It’s American & Canadian. You know why? To beat taxes , so that’s crappy, taxes from the 1% not going to Canada .
“It's owner, RBI, is an American-Canadian company, with its majority shareholder (3G Capital) based in Brazil. The main reason that 3G acquired Tim Hortons was to save over $1B in tax, by moving the combined company headquarters to Canada from the U.S., where they were paying a higher rate of corporation tax.”
So for that reason I buy my coffee elsewhere , independent brewers , & buy my donuts at the best bakery in town . 😊
I completely agree! Local roasters and distributers everytime (when I can)!
I totally agree with Dunkin’ 🍩 🤢
Not good at all. Leah now that you’re pregnant have you needed to buy anything for the first months? Obviously you’ll have to get stuff later on, but I just wonder what’s the must have for the first months of pregnancy. Just curious
So far it’s basically just multi vitamins and a couple new pairs of stretchy pants haha.
Get you re self some gloves, you will be happy about it, i promis u 😂 15 years of camping 👋🏽
Yeah the gloves would be the right call. 😬😅
As a Manitoban, I was horrified to hear of Leah heading to Regina. Regina is someplace where people, or any lifeform higher than rodents for that matter, go voluntarily. People don’t “live” in Regina……people “end up” in Regina. (When you understand the good natured football rivalry between Winnipeg and Regina, you’ll understand my comments. Regina is actually a wonderfully beautiful city…..in the rear view mirror!😂😂😂)
Life 360 app is a great way to keep up with one another, if you don’t have it.
9 seconds in....is baby's name Dallie? Or did I hear it wrong? I need to knooooww 😅
I was wondering the same thing! Did he slip the baby name??
if it is...I like it!!
Your non-alcoholic beer actually says it contains 0.3% alcohol on the can. Might be good to be aware of that 😊
So does orange juice. It's not a problem.
2:38 Teslar's latest unmanned vehicle?? 😂😂😂
😜😅😅😅
Was there no coachman in it?
@@LeaSonnenscheinTrier Maybe, but I didn't see anyone 🙂
This made me laugh so hard...
Thank you for your response. I rewatched it several times and didn't see any driver too... Spooky.
12:12.... Omfg... Leah
Is the author Erin Hildebrand a relative of yours?
Sadly no… no authors here 🤷🏻♂️
“ Sour cream glazed is the best donut “. Wash your mouth out with soap young man. Lol. Honey dipped, hands down. It’s the only donut that on it’s own that started a donut franchise, Krispy Kreme. That donut you speak of looks very close to a H.D, biting into it thinking it’s a H.D will ruin your day. It reminds me of the time I was driving and reaching into the bag for what I expected to be a Big Mac and pulling out a filet o fish. Hand to leave that for the birds….jeez us!
Wait until you can not only feel the baby kicking, but actually see your whole belly shifting as that little one stretches - a lopsided belly is weird and cool at the same time 🙂
Dunkin is horrible! The donuts aren’t made there, only iced. The donuts are small, and other food items are terrible worse than Starbucks and the coffee isn’t great. You aren’t wrong! Not all of us Americans like Dunkin’😂. I actually prefer a few local places.
Plain donuts are not the same thing as old-fashioned donuts. You had plain donuts not old-fashioned donuts.
Babies? Twins……?
Leah, were you for there? Home birth?
You guys are a parade by yourselves.
Beautiful manitoba lake shots !
I’m ‘half’ mennonite but my family doesn’t talk much about it. There’s a very troubled history in that.
Skipped the pregnancy stuff sorry. No interest there. The rest was great 👍
Why feel bad, that was inside YOU. GROW UP KID.
