can never forget the Turkey drop episode, any episode with a lot of Bailey in it, and also the well done episode around The Who tragedy at Riverfront Coliseum in 1979
I LOVED that show.. The inside and outside of that building is absolutely beautiful. The architecture is wonderful. Who ever designed that building did a wonderful job. Thank You for sharing. Great information.
Really good job from Jordan's Mum. Back in the seventies in Britain we only got the big weekly shows from America, like Charlies Angels and Rockford etc. However Jordan's Mum managed, in a few moments to 'share the show' with us. Many Thanks - and what a fabulous building inside.
Jordan - Great video. I absolutely loved this tv show. It was great to see your mom and she did a wonderful job and was so poised. I see where you get your enthusiasm and talent for presenting a story. A fun day. I'm glad I could come along. Thank you for sharing this Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎵🎭
Hey Jordan!! WKRP in Cincinnati was a favorite growing up. You brought back some good and very funny memories. As always thanks for taking me on these good trips! Without you I would be missing out so I appreciate your channel very much!
Thank you Jordan 🇯🇴 for posting this! WKRP Cincinnati has been for years a comedy classic show, that brought such laughter and joy with its style of quirky humor through these typecast characters. Thanks again for the Memories!
We both loved watching WKRP in Cincinnati, they were all so funny. Could not wait each week to see what kind of trouble they could all get into. Thank for sharing this funny show with us.
I loved WKRP. I thought it was a great show. Your vlog reminded me when I went to visit my friend in Cleveland he said he had somewhere special to show me. He took me to downtown Cleveland where they filmed the Drew Carey show. The Ohio residents are proud to show off their locals that make it into TV Shows. I love the old buildings. All the gold and artwork everywhere. Too bad we don't have architecture like that anymore. Thanks for this great vlog. I can't wait to see part two. Your mom is a lovely lady and it's always nice to see Jah. Stay safe and take care.
Loved WKRP In Cincinnati ! I worked at 2 different radio stations in Texas during my college years from 1968=1972, and we had virtually every one of those characters from WKRP working there at one time or other -- it was always like a melodrama around both of those stations, and WKRP reminded me of those days. Thanks Jordan, and your Mom for the tour and insights to the show, much enjoyed and appreciated!
Great to see this and your mom again! :) I was hoping you'd do this since you mentioned the top of the bridge at the Reds game plus this show premiered in 78 the same year I was born and birthday this Mon. 27th! So many great episodes but, my mom's favorite was the turkey drop lol! 😇 So happy you two got to do this!
One of my all time favorite shows. I was in high school when it was on, so I didn't watch it on a regular basis, but I watched episodes on Me TV a few years ago. I always liked checking out the cool posters and cardboard cutouts in the DJ booth. Frank Bonner ( Herb Tarlek) directed some episodes.Hugh Wilson made a cameo appearance as a cop in the episode where the electronic store gets held up while Johnny is during an in-store show to promote a sale. Beautiful old building. This was a treat. Thanks Jordan☺💝🎆
WOW! You have such an interesting mother. She's so smart, knowledgeable and beautiful. You are such a fortunate young man. Thanks for sharing your wonderful family with us. Well done. Cheers!
That show was not afraid to tackle tough subjects. I loved watching that show, still watch it in reruns and wish there were more quality shows on TV like that.
I loved that show!!! And it was great to see JAh. And your mother was terrific in front of the camera with you! She is a natural, better watch it she might steel the show LOL. Great Vlog!
What a fantastic video! Thank you so much!!! You have a great voice so thanks for serenading us with the theme song! Your mom is definitely so awesome and one of a kind!
I was a DJ at a college radio station when WKRP hit the airwaves. Don't think I need to tell you what was Number 1 on our playlist. In many ways, that tv show actually mirrored the college station.
that is so comical cuz that’s all i remember of the song is the end, your mom is my age, she reminds me of me remembering everything from those days and how a lot of stuff didnt exist. love seeing you and her
💋Great vlog as usual! Your mom made a great filming partner. This is my mother’s hometown. Thanks Jordan for being my all time favorite vlogger! Love those glasses too. Continued Blessings. ~Love&Light♥️Carli
Hi Jordan, I used to love 'WKRP In Cincinnati', I don't think I've seen it since it finished in 1982. I think they had a great mix of characters on that show. I did like that old building you went in, such a beautiful ornate lobby, not many buildings left like that now. Nice to see the Jahster making a new friend. Great vlog Jordan.
What can I say I just liked it was a big fan of that show when I was younger right around my high school days thank you enjoyed it and don't forget to hug and pet Mr. Jah for me😁👍
I loved this hilarious show back in the day and yes all of the local news they mentioned in it! Love seeing Patti and downtown Cincy I haven't been there in years. Thanks for sharing this Jordan!
The PNC bank building was the Central Trust building at the time show airing. So glad y'all got to see these landmarks. We live in Northern Kentucky and I think we all too often take for granted the history we have downtown. For my two cents the Turkey drop episode is still the funniest episode of a sitcom EVER! And kudos to the show for fighting to tastefully address the who concert tragedy. It was a hard episode to make, but it was very well done.
" As God is my witness, I thought Turkeys could fly!" Still one of my favorite shows of all time. Now anytime anyone brings up Cincinnati I always start singing the song...Also what made me become a DJ later in life.
Awesome Vlog w your Mom! Ya know I never got into watching this show but now I want to check it out. I was a kid in those days so my interests then were the Facts of Life and MASH.
It was my dad’s favorite show and his favorite character was Venus. At one time Tim Reid worked in the same business as my dad. This was obviously before he was an actor.
Thanks so much. I remember when Lonnie Anderson was as popular as Farah Faucet from Charlie's Angles. You and you're mom provided some great information for WKRP!
Before he passed, Hugh Wilson managed to get roughly 90% of the music licensed for the last Shout! Factory DVD release of "WKRP". Johnny Fever once again rocks out to "Queen of the Forest", but "Dogs" is still missing. An earlier DVD release of the first season had the music licensing issues but featured DVD commentary for both the pilot episode and "Turkeys Away", provided by Hugh Wilson, Loni Anderson, and Frank Bonner. Highly recommended if you are a fan, especially if you are not hip to the story about which of the two actresses was cast largely on the basis of a magazine cover.
I literally bumped into Tim Reid (Venus) when we both were reaching for a bagel at a political brunch in Richmond. He's from there and very dedicated to giving back to the community. One of my favorite sit-coms, kudos to Jordan and mom.
Great show! I watched when I was growing up, even though they must have been reruns! I thought it was on later than 82' LOL I was singing the song before you did, funny how it comes back!😃Thanks Jordan another great vlog...Hugs to Jah💜(and mom and grandpa!) 🦃
Loved that show as a kid! I think we know where Jordan gets his story telling ability, his mom's a natural. Looking forward to the next video, if it has to do with a hotel and the Beatles, I've stayed there!
They had the farm report on TV in Chicago in the 1960's and 1970's - in the morning, right before the kids shows, on WGN TV. Farm report was given by a guy named Orion Samuelson.
Loved seeing your Mom in this vlog! I am glad that you both had fun in the Big City! Have a Blast while you are home!!! PS Tell your Mom that I went back and watched Christmas at Jennifer's. Baby It's cold inside and the Turkey Drop. Very Funny! Oh, Lonnie Anderson did a Cameo for Frank Feruccio - a friend of Catherine Hickland's, and she was sooooo incredibly sweet. Apparently Lonnie played Jane Mansfield - Frank is a Big Fan of Jane's and wrote a book and movie about her. Lonnie was Gorgeous in the Cameo!
Hey Jordan nice to get an WKRP expert your mom I remember when she was on the Allman Bros vlog ! She was very cool ! Never watched that show but everybody knows Loni that’s for sure !
Still one of the best comedies on TV.. so many episodes were so funny and I had such a crush on Johnny Fever! But the group trying to jazz up a funeral home who was willing to buy an ad was my favorite!
WTUE and WVUD were big rivals in Dayton. I met Gordon Jump a few times. He had dinner several times at the Lion’s Den, which was a bar adjacent to WHIO tv studios. He also visited WING radio for interviews. Very nice person.
In New Zealand it was a huge hit during the 80s.... i think the song also made the charts.... mind you the tv back in those days had the best songs in them.... like the greatest American hero.
my uncles was good friends with Gordon Jump.. he was a member of the same fraternity at K STATE (kappa sigma).. i also became a member of the Kappa Sigs..(my dad was there as well) Gordon was a nice guy..and a legend of the house.. he came back to visit on a few occasions... i got to spend lots of time with him!!!
Jordan, the PNC building would have been Central Trust Bank in the 70s. For some reason I remember you could see it all lit up at night from the Red seats in Riverfront where I sat many times as a kid.
When I was living in LA, I was the WKRP TV's leading stars' poolman for about 6 years. He was really a nice fellow, and referred me to his friend, along with him, who appeared in the movie "Billy Jack", in the town hall scene with the two hippy guys.
can never forget the Turkey drop episode, any episode with a lot of Bailey in it, and also the well done episode around The Who tragedy at Riverfront Coliseum in 1979
“As God is my witness, i thought turkeys could fly”!! I will never forget that episode!!
I still laugh at the turkey drop every thanksgiving

Wish my dad could see this. WKRP was one of his favorite shows. He also loved Barney Miller 💯
Really good job from Jordan's Mum. Back in the seventies in Britain we only got the big weekly shows from America, like Charlies Angels and Rockford etc. However Jordan's Mum managed, in a few moments to 'share the show' with us. Many Thanks - and what a fabulous building inside.

Loved WKRP. You and your Mom did a great job in this video. Your Mom is wonderful.

This was fun. Glad your Mom went along and shared her memories. And always love a chance to see Jah.
Great Vlog having your mom talking about WKRP! One of my fav shows back in the day.
Loved WKRP In Cincinnati ! It was nice seeing your mom! I also loved your singing. Great vlog. This show is from my childhood.
My best friend and i stayed across the street from the fountain when we went to a Reds/Braves game one time. I loved Cincinnati!
Your Mother did a great job, good idea taking her for this vlog, I loved it.🤘
Loved this one,so many memories, your mom is lovely, enjoy your day 🙋🆒
Your mom did a great job explaining the show, she seems really comfortable on camera. WKRP was a totally funny show. And Bailey was a cutie.
I really enjoyed this Thank you Jordan & Lion Momma

I remember when The Who concert tragedy happened WKRP did a special episode about it... It was heavy!
I was a DJ at a college radio station when WKRP hit the airwaves. Don't think I need to tell you what was Number 1 on our playlist. In many ways, that tv show actually mirrored the college station.
I love these walks you show with Jah! :)
@pojo 10 Reminds me of the walks I use to have with my Pug, Bandit.
Amazing Job. I grew up in the 80s watching this show.

Loved that show. Thank you so much for making this😊

I loved WKRP. The first episode that comes to mind is the one that dealt with the tragedy at the Who concert in Cincinnati. I remember it well.
