I Love your supposed nerdy videos. I have learned a lot! Only ignorant people don't like to learn new stuff! Thank you for your dedication Chris. And because of that i bought exactly those Rokker boots from you. Cheers from Portugal.
At last Chris! We love your face but now we are getting closeups and proper views of the products from a few feet not the other side of the room. Please keep this style going,
They look like a very comfortable pair of boots. Are they good for all day of bike walking around? You mentioned that you were not a fan of its replacement. Can I ask what you didn't like?
These boots saved my feet in a bad accident. To look at them now, after a quick polish, you'd never know. Awesome, tough, highly recommended and really cool (and very comfortable once worn in). My only comment is that the black is more of a dark brown.
Great video thank you. I will start by saying these are the most comfortable best fitting boot I’ve ever owned. Like a master cobbler has taken my foot and made a boot to measure. Ordered 42 my normal size but had to go for 41(bare that in mind). Leather is thick and sturdy, but supple at the same time. Others have stated long break in period but I find them comfy strait out of the box Motolegends where flawless throughout. I’m ordering a second pair there so good
Great review, but you seem to skip over what looks like the absence of ankle protection? are there any ankle cups like in many short boots these days? if not, any concerns to be had? thanks!
You are right; the boots don’t have hard ankle protectors, but in some of the boots out there these cups won’t deliver much extra by way protection. Remember; all back, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and shoulder armour is soft. A hard protector will deliver something by way of puncture resistance, but not always much in the way of energy absorption. You do get foam in and around the ankle, although this is not CE grade armour, so to speak. What you do get with the Urban Racer is an immensely strong leather that, in terms of strength and abrasion resistance, puts the boots in a different league to many on the market. I would, personally, feel more protected in these than I would in some boots with ankle protectors. So obviously it’s always a personal choice, but don’t underestimate the strength of these boots.
@@Motolegends hi Chris, these boots look fantastic, I watched another review you did on the daytona AC classic which I believe do have a waterproof membrane and I wondered between the two which you prefer? By the way I love all the nurdy bits in your reviews, that's why your channel is the only one I watch and trust in regards to motorcycle gear
I’ve been using these for the last three or four years and they are fantastic. I love them both on and off the bike. Mine are about ready for new soles. I like the Vibram soles very much. I would prefer them to be a little more beefy however. My heels are a little sharp (!) and have worn through the liner at the back somewhat, but that is usual for my boots. I highly recommend them and will have these resoled. I will buy a brown pair next time. The eyelets and lacing works very well. These, along with my Daytonas, are by far the best boots I’ve bought.
Great video as always! 👌 if the Helstons Travel boot that I bought from you a few years ago, didn’t last so long I would buy these in a heart beat! 25,000+ miles with the Helstons and they’re still going strong! Annoying, I want to spend more money on these boots! 😂😳 (I have a problem!)
If rigorous scientific analysis makes you a nerd then so be it. I find it imperative to verify that this pair of boots would prove to be a worthy investment.
Why they had to call those boots anything with "racer" I do not understand. Frankly they look like a blend of a Victorian lady's boot and something out of a gay parade ...
Chris,
Keep making your reviews because I watch your reviews on UA-cam and I love them.
Why don't you like the newer version?

Hi, can you let us know what the new model is you dislike please? As always - amazing review, so thank you

Thanks for the feedback - we are always working on improving our videos.
Gotta say I enjoy your reviews ! Hearing all the specs make it a lot easier on making a decision on what to buy! Keep up the good work!!!

Yes, I agree. They call it Antique Black but it could be termed v. Dark Brown!

I personally like your nerdy reviews, keep them coming
I second the trust pilot comment. Keep the nerdy videos coming!
Would you actually walk up a mountain in these?
I have these, bought them from Motolegends, this is my second winter, daily commute, they are getting comfortable. I like em.
How is the sizing on these? I'm generally a euro 45.
I'm the same size and also wondering. Some say order down, others say sizing is spot on. Hmm?
You had me at "these boots come in half sizes" and you even cracked a smile so it must be funny :D

half size 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Love your videos

Come on mate, these can not be as good as the Daytona AC Classics GTX, even though they're named Rukka? Honestly...

Your literally on your own with this view
