Probably my most edited video. Overall I used this video as my playground to try new effects and editing tricks. I think we had a very fun discussion for what we assume is going to be a small game patch alongside the upcoming DLC characters

Imo DLC candidates are:
Ryougi - KNK's 15th anniversary & celebration project are this month. She was at least a consideration, even if she's not in.
Touko - Witch on the Holy night dropped today, and she appears in the same timeline as Ryougi.
Alice - I prefer Take's favorite girl, but I think Touko is a bigger character? Her interactions with Aoko are fun, and funny enough, her illustration used for the Day 2 countdown of the VN reminds me of a TL win screen art.

Richard - They mentioned one DLC will be "unusual," a synonym of "strange". His Fate/Strange Fake anime was planned to release Dec 31st but as of today, it has been delayed. He also helps the M/F DLC ratio, as Mario is our only male.
Len - Found in files but could be bait.
Nanaya - More and more of his assets have been added from DLC. He's male, and pairs nicely with Len or Ryougi.
The others differentiate more from Tohno though, so I prefer them or another fan favorite entirely. Really hoping for Alice or Ryougi though.
Also Soujurou from Mahoyo is likely as well
I feel like nanaya is likely because the big 2 main characters + Noel have alt forms(arc&ciel) but not shiki . Nanaya and shion/Len/satsuki would be hype

@@JehuisRad Nanaya is likely inevitable, it just makes more sense to me to take advantage of all the special celebrations and projects going on this month than adding a clone who'll eventually be in, without the time window even mattering. Additionally Tohno already plays around boundary peak as his shtick, and as someone who pretty much one tricks 'em, I'd rather someone else get their character. If they pick 'em cool, but I'd feel selfish.
Satsuki - Had the most attention in the Red Garden sequel's trailer confirmed for next year so they're likely saving her to market that + it avoids dropping spoilers monthsss in advance, since the VN is not a copy & paste of the old one.
Sion - I can see her being announced as the 1st character of the /next/ pass, especially on the anniversary at the tail end of the month, but I doubt she's this early too.
I see all of these characters as inevitable additions that don't really have to specifically come now and actually benefit by waiting.

Honestly, the only 3 things I'd want.
1) Fix that some mids can still be shielded low like Aoko's rekka and auto combo followups. It's annoying that this 'fix' isn't consistent.
2) Arc's moonskill DP needs a nerf.
4) C / EX moves shouldn't be shield cancellable and should be like moonskills. It would fix a lot of the stupid crap stuff like Roa & Vlov do.
You never know indeed.
The thing about you wanting Shiki to turn into Nanaya after the install, is that I think they do wanna bring back Nanaya, so it's better not to have both character being too similar.
Google doesn't want me to fund the game with the gacha, but I did my best while they allowed me to do so, it was a good deal as I spent less in Grand Order than what I'd have spent in a season pass.

The DLC's have always been in a pair of new and returning character. DAN and Aoko. Mario and Powered Ciel. Mash and Neco Arc. I'm like 99% sure they're gonna keep this pattern going.
In which case, the returning character candidates:
Nanaya - I mean come on. They've been teasing his return for so long and he's practically already in the game. SET HIM FREE KAMONE!
Sion - If Mushroom man will go back on his word, then Sion is sorely missed.
Ryougi - She's both incredibly popular and getting all the Type-Moon heroines in one game as playable would be sick.
Archetype Earth - She's practically in FGO right now. And I think they're adding another boss rush to the game and who else to be the ultimate final boss than her. Ryougi would also fall in this category tbh.
As for the new character, all we know is that they said in interviews that they are unusual:
Alice or Touko - With Mahoyo coming out it would make sense they might wanna market both games at the same time. It's the same reason we got Ryougi all the way back in OG Melty, they put her in to promote her movies.
EMIYA or Da Vinci - They were featured in Mash's endings and there's been a pattern where character's mentioned in previous DLC character's ending end up being featured in the next one.
i think shiki should be able to install each of his moves before using arc drive for one use by doing 22X which will do the 22[A] animation. Then to make a difference from using arc drive by adding the fast fall on top of having the permanent use of 22 series.
I'm personally hoping for either Alice or Touko. Witch on the Holy Night just dropped and I'm hyped for it plus it makes sense from a marketing standpoint.

Saber's 22C benefits from the EX shield change. It makes it a somewhat viable AA in this game. They keep wanting her 623X to be an AA but quite frankly, it sucks as one. Saber has no reliable way to keep ppl from jumping out of 214A on block either. It's very irritating
Honestly I just wonder how the menu U.I might change considering there's not enough room to fit the two characters without it obscuring something or looking a bit off.
My Mash wishlist:
- Make 2A 5 frames. I don't know why it's 6 frames, it's not like the range is particularly good or anything.
- Make her specials less unsafe. I don't why they made so many of Mash's specials just incredibly unsafe or at best neutral when Tohno can slide and lariat into your face, Arc can basically be plus on everything, and Saber can do rekkas all day.
- Give her something unique. Tohno has Nanaya mode, Arc is Arc and has a big mixup kit, and Saber has Avalon. Mash could use some sauce.
Her 2A is 0 on block, that’s why it 6f. It’s the same thing with Noel
I just want more characters, stages and music. That'll come with DLC but a frame data and hitbox/hurtbox visual display would be nice. Maybe more classic songs like Fairy Tale Transparently or Tsukihime Remake VN battle music added to the game. Maybe more single player modes too.
I also want something new for Tohno

For potential new chars, we need to remember that mbtl is in the service of tsukiR. If you notice, most of the dlc chars are lore-related to a certain degree with some of them are kinda “fan service”: SPOILER*
Aoko is kinda fan service even tho she appeared in the prologue of tsukiR, but her fighting abilities have never been introduced in the VN.
DAN is introduced in the CIEL’s route after the injection of certain vaccine, and her fighting abilities were introduced in her fight with CIEL.
Mario’s fighting abilities was introduced in day 10 of Arc’s route.
Ciel’s 第七圣典 was introduced in her own route when she’s fighting vlov.
Neco arc is fan service, but she’s… kinda lore-related??? KEKW
Mash is fan service just like seiba since both of them are most popular waifus in JP.
So base on these info that we have, I guess the most logical prediction on dlc can be:
Dr.Arach, this is a huge spoiler for the main storyline of tsukiR. We all know she did a lot of weird things(spider, etc) in both routes and she’s the reason why Noel turn into DAN.
Ryougi(?), she appeared in MBAACC so her presence in MBTL is reasonable but I doubt this one because sakamoto san said that she’s not gonna involve in any work this year due to her preganancy…
Nanaya, yea even tho his fighting abilities never been introduced in the main story line… but mbtl already teased him for so many times. So if he’s the one of the dlc chars then he will take the “fan service” spot just like aoko
I doubt about mahoyo chars even tho it’s the 15th anniversary for TM, mahoyo chars are not as popular as seiba or mash.
But yea… I guess you guys get the logic, maybe you don’t like it but at least this is a reasonable guess

@@aneirintruong824 Thats the snowball for me. If I recall correctly they said nothing too huge was planned the anniversary, and to me at least Ryougi in TL, especially if they get Maaya Sakamoto back to voice her, would be a huge deal. But maaaaaaan I really want her back. More than any other character in any fighting game by a long shot, and I really want Zarina back in KoF XV.
