This video has brought me so much joy! Lol. I’ve been looking for a concrete wall tutorial that was something I could do and it looks great!! Thank you!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Thank you so so MUCH! I’m in class for set design in stop motion animation. I’ve been trying to find ways to make wood look like concrete. This will be perfect! You saved me! I’ve been looking online for hours to no avail. But I came across your video so thank you so much
Great tutorial! Would this work on a wood board? Also, can I use different paint brushes for the black and white paints or do I need to use the same one for the grey effect? Thanks!
Hi Sara! I'm not sure actually, the thinner paint you use the less durable it becomes, so I guess it depends on what you seal the paint with in the end.... :/
@@wackygoose ok thanks. I might try this. The only thing is I'd be doing it on a wall so i should expect some drip lines right? coz the paint has become thin.
Thank you! I'm not allowed to post in any groups for about a week, Facebook thinks I've posted enough already haha! But, feel free to share all my videos where ever you'd like!
Awesome! Well done! I'm going to do a 9x12 foot backdrop for my photography using this technique, thank you!
mike colletta oh!!!! If you want to you can send me a Photo of the result? I would really love to see that!! :D
email?
would that work on furniture and would the paint stay on the furniture over time?

Was the base dry before you used water and sponge?
Cool idea! I wonder what covering a wall with similar panels would look like?
I think that would look great!! :D
Just what I was looking for thank you
Saved! This is amazing!
Great job on the painting - music is a bit much but I realised I can turn the volume off.
Can this paint work be done on a plastered wall?
Looks great, do you need to use chalk paint though? Can you use like a matt paint?
Hmm, regular acrylic paints usually don't go so well with a lot of water, but try! I think it will work!
Loved it. Just applied the technique for a backdrop.
Perfect. Amazing. Congratulations girl! Top
Thank you so much! :D
Hello Lina, I love this technique just genius. if you change your colors to browns and oranges you can simulate rusty steel.
Yes, that is correct :D Thank you so much!
Brilliant demo, thank you Lina x
Thank you! :)
Awesome painting! Was looking for something like this. But would it work on a joint compound though?
very nice result Lina - Thank you
Thank you Hilde! :)
would this work on wood? especially the water technique
Absolutely!
Thanks for the video! Will this work on wood?
It does :)
Life saver x

You can use different brushes, but you need to work with wet paint so they will turn gray anyway :) You can use this technique on wood too! :D
@@wackygoose How do you seal the wood so it doesn't get too wet and warp?
Quick question, I kind of want to do concrete look for my living room walls. would you recommend this technique or should I look into other means?
This technique would definitely work for walls as well! :)
@@wackygoose Thank you, I'm going to give it a try.
@@evodudedad2053 did you try this on your living room walls? how did it turn out?
sorry i just saw you replied a few hours ago.. please let me know how it turns out
Do you think this could be done on top of a linoleum floor??
Hi Sara! I'm not sure actually, the thinner paint you use the less durable it becomes, so I guess it depends on what you seal the paint with in the end.... :/
genial!
Thank you! :D
Can it be done in a paper?
Can use chalk paint on cement?
Definitely! :D
Did you mix your paint in the tub with water to dilute them?
I use only water in the tube and blend it on the piece I paint directly :)
@@wackygoose ok thanks. I might try this. The only thing is I'd be doing it on a wall so i should expect some drip lines right? coz the paint has become thin.
Yes, that is correct :) Drip lines can be really nice on the right places! :D
can this be done on paper?
Great video Lina. Please share to our Diy group and Junkngypsies upcycle group xo 😘

Hi Lina! Good to see you again!
Can this be done on drywall?
I believe so! :D
I think this looks much more like marble which is a lot prettier.
What paint did you use? Does it have to be chalk paint to have this outcome?
I used Chalk paint, I'm not sure but it's a lot of water involved so the paint at least have to be water based.... :/ Try! :)
Gud mam
Not a concrete look. It's closer to a stone look. Definitely not concrete.
Dreadful music!! Turns me off.
do you feel like this could work on a wall? i’m nervous it might bleed
What kind of wall? :)
can this be done on wood?
Hi! Of course
