Well, yes. The problem is that that's all there is these days. Plenty good show, gold and trumpets, bombast, theatre, pretence and class snobbery ... Much ado about the Empire past, amounting to nothing.
Meanwhile, have a look at the real state of post-Brexit Britain - a laughing stock in many places, and large numbers of English living in poverty in a sick economy. The show covers up the reality really well.

It commemorates the Civil War in which 150,000 English people killed each other in order to secure the democratic form of government we have now. You should compare this with the member countries of the European Union and how they arrived at their various forms of democracy in the 370 years since our constitutional arrangements were settled.

To make sense of it, I remember that the Crown and the Sovereign who embodies the Crown is synonymous to the State. In republics, we having no monarch use other symbols such as a flag or the constitution. I often wish we have a monarch tho: I think a flag and a document (however important) are not as symbolically strong as a monarch.

The laws of nature and the laws of the beast and every little thing that creepeth the earth, sayeth thee, for it is life. A food to the marrow and to the bones, it shall keep thee and preserve thee, being bearers of truth and light, that marvelous light, that reflects and refracts in all places. The laws of nature and the beast in unison to life, and preservation of life, giving independence and freedom, where life and truth abound sayeth, saith, saithe thee.

@TheRenaissanceman65 the parliament is full of color, it is also certain the way it carries its day to day work, it lives within its means, as heirlooms are dates back hundreds and thousands of years, and so as silver wares and plates, kept and stored for years in order to always impart the way of life, back then realized and to date still realized with its functions and work. The state parliament is an art, it is for a lifetime, preserved.

    • @Rod-bp8ow

@TheRenaissanceman65 for the parliament and the houses of parliament of UK are biblical and spiritual foundations, it fully understands its oath to the nation, its people, all things that pertains to life, and being custodians of many things. One must understand every detail of a structure, its foundations for one to know that it is thousands of years as well, preserved, in gesture, in salutation, in gallantry and in decorum as well as etiquette as Kings and Queens and the members of the house. A noble is not just a noble, it is noble in so many ways. Examine the days and the environment, reflect and refract that light and ye shall know truth, why your questions are answerable.
