I recently took my test here and thank you for the video, I did pretty much the same route, although the roads here are quite narrow and you don't have any visibility around the turns and since I was not from the area, I tried to be cautious, accelerating to 30/35mph on straight and reducing to 20/25mph around turns, although, the examiner failed me because, I quote, "I was too cautious whilst driving".
I believe in my cause it was just up to her judgement not to pass me.
But great videos, it did really help me know the area before my test, just bad luck this time.

Love your videos. They are a real help. Thought I'd mention the increase from 20 to 30 in Hooley lane at 12min 40secs. I missed it too - very hard to see after emerging left from earlsbook

Can you please upload some videos and commentary of the Sainsbury's roundabout Redhill and the shell roundabout Horley from different directions?
When the examiner ask u to stop safe place and move when it’s safe to do . Do we need to indicating move of ?!my ADI told me as part 2 adi test u do need to check safety and if it’s safe no one will benefit indicating
Have you got a copy of Driving: The Essential Skills? it has all the information you need and help understand DVSA standards, including the answer to your question.
It says "Signal if necessary" when pulling up on the left and pulling away from the left, i.e. what your trainer told you, go with that.
