Glad to see a mockup test in rural area, after seeing too much in city environment. Gear changing is quite informative.
Glad you liked it!
After failing my mock theory test four times in a row (multiple choice), I finally passed today at '43/50. Does this mean I need to revise a little more as i plan on doing my theory in 2nd February (not booked yet)? I also passed my mock hazard perception first try at 47/75 and 52/75 .
Yes i would do more revision, scoring 43/50 on a mock test typically is not going to be enough for the real test, you need to be aiming for 50/50.
Here are some videos with various tips to help you pass the theory test bit.do/theorytesttips
How can you fail a theory test? It is literally for dummies. Too eazy
You need to aim at at getting 46/50 on mock tests. I got 48/50 in real theory test. I spent hours revising and reading the DVSA book. Take your time as you have 57 mins to do the theory test. I suggest do another 5 mock tests. I did about 15 mocks tests. On one I got 49/50.
Good video thanks. Couple of things I picked up on was allowing the steering wheel to slip through hands several times and driving with hand on gear stick a few times whilst waiting to change gear leading to one hand on steering wheel for a while. All in all though, good effort. Good luck with your test 👍
Well spotted!
As you might know the examiner do not look at, or mark, steering techniques, as it is very low risk, they will focus more of things which will increase risk such as forwards planning and speed choices
@@UKDrivingTest aha, I never knew that. Cheers
Taking my test in Crawley and I am not local. The booking chaos has me going a bit down south for a test so your videos are quite helpful to get some local knowledge and the watch out places.
Glad the video helped, liking and subscribing helps to shows your appreciation :-)
Or if you are feeling really nice you could buy me a Ko-fi ;-) ko-fi.com/drivingcrawley
Good luck Crawley’s my local area as im from Horsham I know it inside out and my tests very very soon in Crawley so hopefully I pass
When have you booked your driving test in Crawley? because I didn't find any date until next year summer🥺😬so sad..@@nletecca8030
@@nletecca8030 thanks, I passed... 8 minors but who cares :P !! wohoo!!
@@geaninapricop4939 keep going on to change the date, keep searching, people cancel all the time.
After 2 weeks I have the driving test, Fingers crossed for for everyone ! :)
Good luck!
Very nice 👍 video . I learn very much. Thank you 😊
My pleasure 😊
20:01 examiners in my area would defo mark that down harshly, their brutal here
The dashcam shot is best. This limits the ability for viewers to see things.
With dash cam you can't see what the driver is doing.
And doing both takes quite a lot of work to edit it all together.
Always tricky to decide.
Great video. Please upload more mock test videos. I'm currently practicing with a family member. Is it possible to get a list of Crawley test routes for Google maps? Thanks

@@UKDrivingTest Thank you. I've been watching your playlist videos. I was interested to know if you can please provide Google map directions for the different routes to practice. Thanks
Do you have a tomtom sat nav?
@@UKDrivingTest No, I should be able to use Google maps or any other navigation app if I can find out which routes to follow. Thanks

when he was going 30 in the 60 and got zero faults, I thought that was very generous, on a more narrow road just down the hill from the previous roundabout I was going 45 in a 60 and the examiner gave me 2 minors at once
You need to drive at the appropriate speed, which is not always the speed limit.
When Sukhy was doing 30mph the appropriate speed was more like 35mph, so he was only a touch slow.
If he stayed at 30mph when the road straightened then it would be a different story, as on the straight the appropriate speed would be more like 50-60mph.
I can only assume you were doing 45mph when the appropriate speed was more like 50-60mph, perhaps similar to the straight and open bits of road where Sukhy got his speed up.
This video explains more about driving at the appropriate speed on rural roads. ua-cam.com/video/EvS2GFf0MX0/v-deo.html
@@UKDrivingTest well it was downhill and very bendy and narrow but I have another test on Wednesday
Can you plz suggest good automatic instructor in Tunbridge Wells... Plz
Sorry, i don't know about one in Tunbridge wells :-(
Can you please help me how you find any date available to book a driving test in Crawley or Burgess Hill? is looking impossible😪😪😪
Many thanks in advance🙏
There is still massive demand for tests, all you can do is just keep looking, try different days and times, like checking in the mornings, afternoons, evenings etc.
Thank you🙏
Where do i need to book if i want to do mock test with you? Thank you
Driving test in Crawley very soon, I get confused a bit at ifield round about and Rushmore round about
Search my channel for videos on those...
Or check this out..
www.drivingcrawley.co.uk/blog/how-to-deal-with-spiral-roundabouts
@@UKDrivingTest the tushmore round about when coming in from a certain direction where the middle lane merges into the left confuses me because I sometimes stay in the middle as I think I can’t change but my lane gets slowly turned left
There are roads signs that say the lane is splitting, also if you are looking far ahead enough you should notice the road widening, there lane is probably going to split, it is quite common for lanes to split on approach to roundabouts on major roads, so this can give you a clue to look for signs and look further ahead to see if it does split.
@@UKDrivingTest actually today I had a mock test and I messed up at the hazelwick round about 2 times today it’s thr hazelwick roundabout which confuses me
Hello could you please add all Redhill test routes videos please
sorry i don't cover Redhill so it will be incredible rare that I will do a test in the area.
@@UKDrivingTest oh okay no worries 😌 thank you for your reply
I know you are a brilliant teacher but can you make more video
I will do new videos whenever i can, but in the meantime there are nearly 200 existing videos on my channel, have at look at the 'playlists' to find videos on the subject you want.
are you supposed to check the mirrors every 5 seconds when you are driving?
There is not a set amount of time to check mirrors, you should just be always aware of your surroundings.
Typically you should check mirrors any time you are going to be moving a hand or a foot. For example:
- Before moving your hand to the indicator
- Before moving your foot off the gas / onto the brake
- Before pressing the gas harder
- Before steering the wheel left or right
Asides from that it is just general awareness, this may be checking mirrors about every 5 seconds, but you don't want to be timing it as that could be distraction.
If you are in a busier area, such as a town you might be checking more than every 5 seconds! If you are driving in a desert you might be checking less!
@@UKDrivingTest thank you so much for the reply and all your helpful videos. I was very confused as my instructor told me I must check every 5 seconds and I thought it was unnecessary and it actually distracted me from the road ahead.
when seeing a national speed limit sign my instructor says you don't have to do 60. would it be okay to do 50mph rather than doing 60?
Driving is not black and white, it is about judgement and assessing the situation and doing the appropriate thing.
Speed is the same, whilst it is true we say "It is a speed limit, not a speed target" you need to assess the situation and do the appropriate speed.
Sometimes doing 50mph in 60mph could be consider slow and as such be a serious fault.
Other times doing 50mph in a 60mph road could perfect.
And another times doing 50mph in a 60mph road could be way to fast, be dangerous and cause a collision and certain serious fault.
This video gives some more info of choosing the appropriate speed: ua-cam.com/video/EvS2GFf0MX0/v-deo.html
Can you do more mock mock tests

Hi, that first pull up on a narrow road, where student didn't stop, if a car was behind, is that not an inconvenience for drivers behind?
Any time you park or turn is technically inconveniencing the traffic behind, but if you never slow down to turn or stopped to park then you would never get any where.
@@UKDrivingTest Thanks. Yeah true. People can be so impatient in London, they horn at you all the time.
