  • I picked up this ca. 1963 Westinghouse stereo console at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore some time ago for $35. After going through it, replacing the dial cord, cleaning the record player and equipping it with a fresh needle, it sounds like a dream. Pretty groovy piece of nostalgia right there. I ended up selling it for what I had into it and then moved on to another project.
Enjoy a little Johnny Smith while you're at it. This record obviously hadn't been through my ultra sonic cleaner yet, I had picked it up same time I picked up the cabinet.

I love 10" record albums. I'm always looking for them. I have a VM changer, but it needs work. It's in an RCA console of great proportions, which also needs a lot of work, but they still function. Oh, and the dial cord broke. LOL.
