Great video Luke! The results are fantastic, I certainly picked up a bunch of tips and techniques from this video. As you can probably tell I'm a big fan of these longer format videos 😉 p.s. thanks for getting one of my jumpers 😃
@@GeekGamingScenics love it man, i was gonna say you are right up there with Luke Towan. Cool he watches your vids. As far as wargames terrain , you are the man
@@GeekGamingScenics hah you guys are my hero's of terrain and minis i binge watch all your videos insane talent here with you two i think you should do a collab video and blow up the internet thank you for all your tutorial and generosity in sharing you skills
I enjoyed the explanations and manufacturing details...yeah the longer format vids are great, but the little side vids for smaller essential details are appreciated...love from Canada bro.
Awesome video! Really liked the shorter format in addition to having the longer ones with more detailed info! I’m hoping your Helms deep video has this!
Love the format, kind of quickly showing what you did but linking to videos where it's shown on it's shown in detail how it was done makes the video flow smoothly.
Well presented, consise, funny and original. Exellent video dude. Very informative and packed we tips. iIt's thanks to people like you this hobby has a heart. Thank you. Pat on t'back is deserved.
Blending technique looks great. I am going to apply it to the diorama I'm working on ATM. There is a small stream running into a deeper river. Over all this is an amazing board you've built. Love the ruins. I can visualize a WWII dio, group of German officers, doing some R&R in Greece. 3 guys and a Kubelwagon.
Absolutely amazing board, probably one of the best I've seen. I keep coming back to this video to perfect the techniques so I can make boards this stellar. Great job Luke! Thank you!
I love this fast video of a big build. And the links to separate more detailed videos for those who are really planing to do that. More of these please :-)
More of this format. Helpful also when, during vid, you offer bookmark of sorts where other more detailed videos are for specific elements. Tops in my book!
Hya Luke what a great video I have been wargaming since 1960 and this is the best explained modelling project I think I have ever seen I'm going to start mine this Saturday lol cheers good format as well well done best regards Phil
I've seen a lot of the individual tutorials on earlier posts but have to say that this one-tutorial from start to finish was a real treat and informative. Thank you for all the great hints and tips. Tony
You've got a very understanding missus Luke!!! I take up the table with my painting stuff and my old lady gives me glares occasionally!! Let alone cutting foam in the lounge LOL. Great vid though dude
Just discovered you, because I've recently discovered Luke Towan and got you as a suggestion. May I say, sir, your skills are crazy. You are the Kaldor Draigo of scenery building!
Great video. I like these kinda videos on top of the normal videos because it gives an idea of how everything is supposed to flow together. For us less creative folk it might be a bit daunting to do a whole board, like we might know how to paint a face but doing a whole canvas might get us a bit lost in the sauce. Keep up the awesome work man.
You always make things look approachable which I guess is really the whole ethos of your channel and products. Cheers mate I'll definately be coming to you for products in the future. Great videos too btw
Doing this at my mates, he doesn't know yet but that's the fun part. Bit of architects on in the background and I'm sure 40 hours will fly by. Cheers for the vid
Loved this video! Found it proper inspiring, I'm still a relative noob when it comes to boards and basing and I'm definitely going to try some out! Thanks for an awesome vid!
All proceeds go to me and my beer fund! 😂 love it. Great vid, great project and amazing that all of the products are from your range. Fantastic results.
Really like how you've put in the research and experimentation to figure out what products work best and have made them available to everyone. I never feel like you're shamelessly peddling your merchandise because it's actually the stuff you use and believe to be the best. Also, you usually have videos explaining how to make it yourself, or provide an alternate. Always look forward to your next video!
like it a lot. just would have liked to see you put on the last protetion coat to see how you to it. keep up the great work. makes me want to do my own.
Dude, this is awesome. The way you always seem to be able to find the cheapest and simplest way to achieve various effects is amazing. I remember trying to use GW water effects over the skull pits on a RoB board...it took so long that I never finished it. But the resin you use here is so straightforward! If I’m ever able to afford a place big enough to facilitate building a board, I gotta try this out 😋.
I have no interest in doing dioramas or wargaming tables. But I had to watch the entire video anyway, super interesting to see how you work Luke and I really enjoyed the video! :D
Always wanted to do a static game table. But over the year's. The measurements will be calculated in, and Strategies will suffer. Btjm. I prefer terrain that is placed randomly. Via, old school WHFB terrain generators. It's a bit dated, but keeps the general's on their toes. I do love the Static table feel. And your creation was ace!
Fun fact: Two of the best scenery people on youtube are both named Luke :)
Lukes APS
Luke Towan: Boulder creek railway

Coming from a model Railroader you are becoming a master of realistic scenery Luke.
This board is stunning - the water looks just like the Aegean Sea when I was in Turkey on holiday!
This is my very favorite Luke's APS build. I'm using it as inspiration for a build later in the year.
Such a great simple idea for a board. The water takes it to such a high level. Love it. Well played.
The water looks fantastic! Your board is absolutely amazing. I really have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you.

Wow, you do fantastic work! You’re definitely an artist! The best I’ve seen!
Thanks for the video!
Not a war gamer myself. Stumbled on this video accidentally. Thought I'd give it a watch and was amazed at the end result. Nice job.
Love the new format with the ability to investigate the elements in more detail. Thank you Luke, keep up the good work!

The hero we never knew we needed and dont deserve. That's a seriously badass project.
Looks amazing, Luke. Nice shift on the APS meaning.
Yeah it’s cool that he doesn’t have to change anything and it works perfectly.

Thanks for putting this video up. I’d been search for this ever since I watched your resin pour on this board. Fantastic work.
Really good format. Good to see a build from start to finish.

Great build by the way and it’s nice to have the summary video as a reminder.
Grate Vid absolutely loved the water effects and the rocks made using the moulds. All together an awesome board keep up the good work

Great video as always LUKE! I love the "Affordable Professional Scenics" acronym - really great!
OK, I really liked this format. Smaller videos for the details of certain aspects or board sectors and an overhaul video to round it up beautifully.

That table looks incredible! Thanks for uploading.
makes more sense to section up especially if you covering something multiple times, you should totally do a jungle matt?
