Mate spielt diese rolle sooo genial
I love this part, it lasts only 2 minutes but gives you so many emotions at once - grief, desolation, longing...
Uh, I'm having shivers again and again, no matter how many times I listen to it.

Das "Ja, du brauchst mich" ist sooo toll und das fast schon gezischte "auch" bei "auch wenn du ihn scheinbar mehr liebst" lässt mir jedes Mal eine Gänsehaut über den Rücken laufen. Wenn er doch nur einmal so für mich singen würde ... ich würde den Verstand verlieren (obwohl, das tu ich sowieso schon ... ) Und sein Blick bei 1:19 *schwärm* Gänsehaut!!!
In this scene he displays all of his qualities combined. In some of his other songs many pointed out, that his voice and his facial impressions/ acting weren't on the same level. And his interaction with the actress of Elisabeth was overshadowed by his interaction with the audience. Well, I have no doubt, in this scene everything came together and all those just downcasting him to his outward look and mocking his style of portraying Death because of it, might use this two minute piece too dive into it a little further than the surface. They might reconsider their opinion or find it justified, either way this scene is just brilliantly written and executed.
Mate is amazig amazing amazing I Like him... his voice, his acting.. Super! I prefer him as Der Tod.
From 2005 Elisabeth DVD, Mate is my favorite Tod.

Der gehört noch zur vorigen Szene des Musicals ;-) ist im Bühnenbild.
Ihre Tochter starb als sie unterwegs war. Sie war nicht bei der Tochter als sie starb.
schade. Ich habe das nicht gesehen. Ich war nicht einmal in WIen als das gespielt wurde. Schade! Ich habe die Vorstellung mit einem anderen Sänger gesehen, aber er hat nicht mir so gefallen.
Gibt ja die DVD.

Das stimmt nicht so ganz. Mark Seibert ist auch ein genialer Tod und so schlecht finde ich die Version nicht. Ich mag nur Anemike van Dam nicht als Elisabeth
