Ramin continues to AMAZE me. He has a great voice, stage presence, and just seems like a wonderful human being. Listening to him now on his station on Pandora.
This one is the most powerful Japanese version I've ever heard. Yuu and Ramin's voice is harmonious. They did a great duet! Look forward to your next concert
If you love this, then I'd recommend taking a listen to the recent cover of this version by Rafscrap. I had never heard of this musical before her cover of this song in Japanese. It gives me chills just like this one
I don't know how many versions of Elisabeth I've seen by now and in how many languages. And while some Deaths are extraordinary and some Rudolphs are as well, I've honestly never seen a pair whose voices fit together so PERFECTLY. Wow. Man, I wished there was more.
This is probably the only version I can truly say has an almost ASMR feeling for me. It can actually help decrease my rotator cuff pain and later on almost energize me. It is tied, for me with the later Hungarian cast.
@@morningmoon90 there is a full version of the original German show with English subtitles ❤️ ua-cam.com/video/IGz4qseaxDs/v-deo.html. In the end they actually sing some of the songs in English as a special 😊
I remember that Yu-san had the opposite role in toho's Elisabeth play. I have to admit that altough, I LOVED IT. Yu-san doesn't have the bright baritone nor dramatical tenor voice that Ramin has, so the role really fits more Ramin. However, it's the same for Yu-san. I think he tends to get the bad guy's role in Japanese plays just because of his heigth and "non fully japanese" look. But I really LOVE Yu-san with the hero's role. He has a bright yet masculine and softly texturized voice with a good range for high notes. I wish he could had more record opportunities where he could get his whole vocal range exposed, because even if he has not a dramatical tenor voice weight, he can reach low notes and he sounds really elegant. "A singer" focuses more on his middle voice and head voice, which sounds beautiful and natural. I just WOULD LOVE to hear more of him, specially if he took his career as a composer again...
He needs to show off his talents more... Well I need him to show off his talents more. Haha. I wish he'd release his compositions and release more songs.
I think he’s more focused on Musicals that’s why he has not much general recording music(album). He’s been into the Musical industry way way back. But he did have his own concert recently. He was on a roll last year if I’m not mistaken with musicals here and there. If he gets into recording that will totally give him a year with no rest at all since musicals in Japan could go running long in a year.
I discovered the Austrian musicals through their Japanese versions. This song with Yu and Ramin is amazing! If there could be an Elisabeth performance with them, oh God I would go to Japan just to see it!

This is so good. If Ramin played death, then there would have been no hope of anyone surviving ahahaha. Would be awesome if Ramin did a version of the original Austrian one (starts singing "ich hab dich nie vergessen" in distance) ...
well...it's a European drama maybe the Americans would prefer a funny show? I really adore Elisabeth but don't you think that there is a reason why it hasn't been on Broadway yet?
@@sebastianwuschelkopf7259 I doubt it. It's basically a German Phantom of the Opera, which is wildly popular in America. It just needs a good English translation.
@@TimeandMonotony well, if you think of what happened to "Tanz der Vampire" / "Dance of the Vampires"? It's a great show in Germany and Austria, but the Broadway Producers had to make it funnier and it was a terrible production. I hope they'll do better with Elisabeth...Honestly saying I don't believe that this show is going to come to Broadway/West-End. They've already been trying to bring Rebecca there for years now and no producer seems to want the show...
