    Hey mate I'm sure you love teaching but ever thought of doing estuary charters in summer ? Few cash jobs haha. You go through so much detail of every video you make. Its a real joy to watch. However my mrs doesn't like your channel due to the amount of money I spend after watching your vids 🤣
    Keep up the great work johnny!

    Gearing up for another great summer's fishing, looking forward to all the action. Hope you get a chance to get away and fish a few more remote locations, maybe a trip up north to team with Dan from Hard Yakka Fishing or south to team up with Briggsy.

      Also John have you seen the Nories BIHADOU 80 or110 they look similar to the Boy Howdy but I reckon the colour range is bit more modern. www.nories.com/eng/bass/hardbaits/behadou/bihadou.html .... Just in case you can't find the Cotton Cordell around.

    Hey John.
    Mate I just bought a block of land backing onto baffle creek. I’ve got a kayak and have been working skip casting like crazy but mate I’m getting nothing. 🤷‍♂️
    All soft plastic weedless stuff but no action the only time I had a hit and saw a boil was on a pink hard body? Should I focus on hard bodies?
    You talk about cover wow my block and 90% of eulialah creek is overhung cover and logs.
    I’m not gonna give up but Jesus I’ve done some casting 🥲🇦🇺
    Your welcome to come for a trip and camp on my block and show me how it’s done.

      Keep at it mate. Try and find the prawns as they move up and down the system with the fresh and tidal influences. Also, you’ve just gotta stay at it and you’ll crack it. Keep in touch mate :)

    I reckon that golden popper looks like a small jack. I wonder if they hit it so hard because they might be protecting their territory thinking it's a small one.

    Hey John love your vids. Keen on trying to up my top water catch from one puffer fish on a 95mm bassday sugapen (don’t ask) just curious if you use mono as a leader at all because of its floating properties or you change your leader leader length with fluorocarbon?

    • @mylurebox
      @mylurebox  3 роки тому

      Hhaaaaaa. Brilliant mate. I generally don’t bother with bigger Topwater lures with mono esp. if the retrieve speed means the fluro doesn’t get a chance to sink much anyway. I like fluro for the abrasion resistance and it’s almost invisible qualities.

    Enjoy chasing Jacks on Surface (and Splash Prawns are great) but truthfully for every fish you catch on top you will catch twenty sub surface.

    • @junglelifelurefishingadven8918
      @junglelifelurefishingadven8918 3 роки тому

      Depends on what light conditions you're fishing. If the sun is high in the sky then sub surface is definitely the go, but come dusk n dawn (especially dusk) surface lureing comes into it own.

  • @Lemon_8855
    @Lemon_8855 3 роки тому
