The suicide stand is easy enough to modify so that it stays down. I have a few Bimotas, DB2, DB4 and SB6, they are all extraordinary to look at and beautiful to ride. Love your bike of the day videos. Keep up the good work mate

Truly! I have to admit that at first it gave me "camo" vibes (not in a good way) but I will always adore liveries that break from the norm. If you pull up somewhere on this, people will notice (hell, they will have heard you pulling up from a half-mile away)!

Work of art! Can you get parts and service for a bike like this anymore or is it more of a showpiece?
Bodywork can be very tough to source but in general the usual wear items aren't a problem thanks to the Ducati 900SS drivetrain!
Speaking of the bodywork - the main annoyance with working on this bike is probably that the front fairing is one piece and it's "lightweight" (so after all the years it can be a little brittle). It's best to have a buddy with you to help take take the bodywork off/put it back on for servicing.

Sorry, you are wrong, the last one was the db4. With oval aluminium frame and 900 ss motor
I'm not sure what to tell you - I didn't say that it was the last 900SS-powered Bimota. I assume you're taking issue with my comment of "In many ways, it is the ultimate expression of a Ducati 900SS." That's fair, it's a subjective comment so you might think it's wrong but I think the DB2 looks better and most people aren't pushing these bikes to the limit any more so they're likely not going to notice the slightly improved suspension of the DB4. The market seems to agree with this as we see higher sale prices for DB2s than DB4s but as long as people are happy with their bikes, then I'm happy!
