My father has been a helicopter pilot since Vietnam 1969. Made a great career out of being a helicopter pilot and I was fortunate enough to go for many rides over the years including inside the Llama over the Tacoma Narrows airport while doing practice engine failure auto rotation training and let me tell you what a thrill that was when you're a kid in a bubble cockpit thousand feet over a humongous Bridge Crossing the bay. Absolutely have LOVED THE LAMA my entire life. I was able to get my helicopter license back in 2014 and it's on my bucket list of fly the Lama. They are so very rare now that I doubt I'll ever get a chance. . . . But here's hoping somebody help me out
Great story! I hope you'll get a chance someday. If you liked the video, check also out my other video on my channel with the full flight with the lama. ;)
Looks like excellent footage! I can't wait :)
Thank you for your kind words! :D The whole flight will be posted without music, only the turbine sound. ;P

Lama 315 has good design uniq tail full glass fast light weight helicopter company should be increasd it.
One of the slowest Helicopters ever produced. But still to this day holds the Absolute Altitude record from John Boulett in 1972 in a stripped down lightweight version.
@@jerrodcorey25 Yeah it's slow and loud ;P But at high altitudes still one of the best choppers out there.
