Thank you for the nice video. It is very precise with all instructions. Following this guide will keep a washing machine as good as new. I always make sure to wipe the gasket and the lid after every wash. Since I have a secluded space for my washing machine, I keep the lid half open most of the time and also the detergent tray pulled out when not in use to prevent the growth of mold and anaerobic bacteria.
Your videos are unique and just superb for any woman would want to know .Keep spreading the knowledge. Now i can rely for all solutions thru your videos and have a good maintained home and shopping too❤ God bless you.
Piece of Advice: While Draining the Lint Compartment there are 2 Outlets, one is on the Left side (which is shown in the video) and the other is a knob like structure with long pipe, pull it out first and drain the Water and then Remove the other big Cap. This reduces the risk of water leaking under the Panel. 2. Always use Liquid instead of Detergent powder for longer life of the Drum, As Large amounts of Scales get deposited over the Spider Arm and might break the assembly during the Wash. 3.Always use SAMSUNG Afresh Descalers to clean the drum, As these are designed for your Machines best performance --Rest of it is explained in the Best possible way in your Video
Maintain the fresh air intake by simply keeping the door open after every wash for an hour or two. Molds develop when insides are wet and u close the door instantly and open it after a couple of days for wash. From personal experience. You'll need less frequent cleaning this way 🙌🏻
Hi.. saumya! Great to see your videoes. Very informative. Anyway I wanna ask u if I go for a daily wash cycle for this washing machine which I have then how many cloth in mix( like t shirt, shirt, ber cover etc) should I put into the washing machine? Tell me in detail if possible.. Thanku again for your great work. Keep it up.
The way to avoid a wet drum is to leave the door ajar and pull the detergent drawer out by half. Two opening in the machine creates a draught and this will help dry the machine faster between uses. And leave them open overnight or half a day not only half an hour. Humidity levels can be quite high in India and more time is needed. Your drum clean method will not work. You are combining an acid (vinegar) with a base (baking soda). If you remember 7th standard chemistry. Mixing an acid and a base neutralises BOTH. If you prefer to use these otherwise ineffective products then add the vinegar into the fabric softener compartment so it will be used in the last rinse and not mixed with the baking soda in the main wash. There is however a much better method to clean out drum. That will address residue that attaches to the inside of the tub, which you can't see where water is in direct contact with each wash.
If the machine doesn't have drum clean option, can we add water, vinegar and baking soda solution to fuzzy clean mode and then spin to take out the water?
Ahh how neatly listed out those places Saumya!!. I couldn't remember any video that covers these many areas of the machine. Just after watching this i was surprised to see those pile my in the gasket region of my machine. Thanks Saumya..
Hi Vigneshwaran! Yay! Glad it was useful. The gasket is the worst area and ignored in front load. I’m realizing that now after using top load for so many years.
My Bosch washing machine drum scale deposite 0.4mm thickness so can I use Bosch washing machine brand powder so the scale can be removed.ple let's me know.ple review after using of a Bosch brand powder it's is recommended are not
Done everything yet it smells. And it's the costliest washing machine of around 42k. Main culprit is their usagw of platic around the drum which catches mould very easily and it can't be cleaned easily as it's below the gasket and drum.
How to clean water dispensing holes thats is above the detergent tray after some time due to water scaling they got chocked, or worst they start firing the water away towards left or right causing water to fall on the metal body instead of detergent drawer causing rust in machine body.
I will not let my humble jhadu watch this video. Else, it will also ask for the long due scrub and bath ! But I must admit. The camera work was amazing. How could you place your camera accurately since it must have had its lens facing you and the view finder inside the machine? Or did you use one of the many shots you randomly took and chose the accurate one?
Hi CK! Some were top shots, some from inside the drum. I am considering someday to put my gopro inside - but still not gotten the confidence to do that 😁
@@TheGrapevineIndia you mean put a GoPro in running cycle? Ha ha ha , it would need nerves. Not sure if it can be used under water. But even if it does, not sure what the drum rotation would do to it 🤣. I have another query. In some instances, I had to let out the water in the drum half way through the wash cycle by opening the lint trap and my balcony where I keep the machine turned into a pool of water! Is there a way you can do it and control the water direction and volume? I have an LG machine which is around 8 years old. My problem is that the water outlet pipe in the balcony is just let open at floor level and turns into a mini waterfall !! When such a situation occurs, I get dirty looks by neighbours standing downstairs below our flat. Your suggestions are welcome 😃
Hi CK - I’ve seen it being done but have no nerves yet to do it. Gopro is waterproof, but not sure its heat and wobble proof 😂 About the water - in Samsung (maybe LG too) there is a small pipe right next to the lint trap. That’s like an emergency pipe to drain out water mid cycle. You can pull that put and make it drain into a bucket. This may help with minimizing the mess.. let me know if you don’t find it
@@TheGrapevineIndia unbelievable !! A very small pipe IS THERE ! And for all these years, I never bothered to take a notice. I am so happy I asked you. Thanks a ton!! 👍
Hi Anil! Good question :) Many newer dishwashers are more water & energy efficient with longer cycle times. Longer cycle times and energy efficiency is counter intuitive in general - but the newer machines are able to use variable speeds, water force etc to ensure the same or better level of cleaning while being energy efficient. While previously stainless steel drum was a differentiator, now most are stainless steel. Rest more or less remain the same - at the end of the day cleaning depends on the water condition in your area, the combination of salt, detergent that you use.
@@TheGrapevineIndia On a similar note, why aren't Bosch/IFB even introducing any newer machines. The current ones have been in the market for a good 4-5years, which I suppose have been in the western market for a decade or so. Why haven't any upgrades come up in these mainstream brands...
Hi Swati, if you already have mould - you may need to use a tougher solution like colin, mr muscle etc leave it on for some time to let it work. Then wipe it off using a cloth. You may need to repeat this for a few times. If it is too bad - call the technician - In the worst case, they may need to replace the gasket.
*Which of these do you ignore the MOST when cleaning your washing machine?* - Saumya
Ignored whole washing machine 😂 Gotta clean today! Informative 😁👍
Hahah 😂 sounds like many others too looking at the poll results!

yes, not together.

You have to run a descaling cycle atleast once a month if clogged, especially if you have hard water..

Hi Anil, good point. Not sure why but also the reason why Faber, Voltas etc have newer technology than those.
How to open the detergent tray, i have the same machine and I am not able to take it out
Open tray and press blue postion with little effort (finger)and pull!!
Hi…let me know if Samsung echo bubble work good with hard water?
To some extent. Recommend getting a water softener if water is too hard
Some of these plastics get amazingly washed in the dishwasher not sure if that's good for them though
Hi Karthik, as long it does not melt - it may be ok, as we don’t use it to eat. Not risking it though 😁
Nice 👍
