Farrow&Ball 'Hague Blue' matches almost perfectly with 'Brush Blue' by Benjamin Moore. I have painted samples side by side and they are nearly spot on. 'Brush Blue' is just a hair more green in tone.
I love this because I belong to several different Facebook sites where we’re always suggesting different colors and some people want it in a certain line and others want it , you know, in the line that they are most comfortable with this gives me great ideas

This is a great video! I love Arsenic! Supposedly the individual colorants that go into Farrow & Ball selections are especially complex and it makes replicating the colors nearly impossible.
I matched BM Cloud White to SW Whitetail and am very satisfied with the result. The SW store later confirmed that it was also one of their two matches for Cloud White. More BM to SW matches would be fun!
Love your fun way of describing colours ...as a former BM colour matcher myself ....all I can say is there are no perfect matches , only close ones , and everyone's eyes perceive colour so differently , so some may agree and some may say woah dude that's not even close 😉 but it sure is fun to experiment 😉

This Was Fun! I’d like to see dark greens and maybe get into the colors in the magnolia line. I haven’t heard much about the coverage of the magnolia paint products but everyone who has used loves the color saturation. However, F&B is fantastic and I love seeing the color match ups!!! Thank you 😁
I used magnolia homes paint in my office bldg on all walls. Beautiful colors. And they play with light fantastically. The actual paint product itself is middling. Nowhere near the quality of Benjamin Moore. But it worked ok. What would be perfect is if BM reverse engineered the MH colors to be mixed straight into BM bases without having to scan a MH color chip into the computer. Maybe they have. My office remodel was early 2018.

Hypothetically, couldn't someone order a sample card or sample sizes can of an F&B color that they like, have it shipped to them, take that color to the paint store of their choosing, have a computer analysis and color match of the F&B color done and then have their paint store mix up as much of that paint color as needed? I've had this done for years across paint brands without issue. I've also had them color match objects from rooms that I wanted to coordinate such as silk tablecloths, nursery bedding, duvets, etc. and the paint has always turned out to be an exact match. Is it that F&B have a trademark or patent on their exact colors? Also, if they did and the color was painted onto a surface, how would the person behind the counter know, would the computer know that the color code isn't to be replicated? Okay, I know, that was long, but I'm curious as to why they're different than from any other interior paint that I've worked with. I wish my grandpa was still around, he was a painter and he could match any color from scratch just by seeing it once. I'm pretty good at finding a color that is nearly exact, but I clearly didn't get his finely tuned eye for color.
