I love the searing feature. Never bought a turkey breast before. I must try this; might add be some onion/celery condensed soup to make it thicker. Love your recipes. Thanks!
Rick, I just now noticed this video. Somehow I missed it when you first posted it. It is excellent! I will remember this the next time we want a turkey meal without the mess of the whole turkey. Although I love dark meat too. What a great idea to cook the veg on top. Those small pieces would have been mush after cooking on the bottom for 30 minutes.
Thanks! Like how easy it is to make and the ingredients! I usually cook the turkey breast in the oven. Your way is so much easier and can cook everything in one pot.
Thanks for the Video Rick. Now i'm hungry. Just so happens I have a Turkey in the oven for dinner. Should be ready here in about 30 mins. Going to get the Vegetables and taters ready and then its Time Ta Eat.
Yummmm. We get a boneless turkey breast and marinate it. 1/2 can chicken or turkey broth, 2 tbsp olive oil, fresh ground pepper to taste. Put all in a plastic storage bag overnight or until ready to cook. Move bag around occasionally. Put turkey in crock pot and add other half of canned broth, can of light mushroom soup, 1/2 envelope of onion soup mix. Add carrots. Should work with pressure cooker to. Makes delicious spicy gravy. I have to have mashed potatoes made with sour cream instead of butter and garlic. It's only right, LOL. Now I'm HUNGRY.
@Kat Lee I'm on a crusade to get people to use arrowroot, potato starch, or tapioca starch instead of corn starch. Why? Corn starch is just great if you are eating everything immediately, BUT if you have leftovers, corn starch breaks down and loses its thickening ability. Things thickened with corn starch do not freeze well either.
I've an 8qrt it'll be plenty ty of room for one and veggies .might try this one. Just got mine though .tommorow I'm makeing my third thing in it counting my child start yougert. So prayers it turns out good .I'm doing an easier one to start. Mississippi pot roast yes yumm. That looks good
yumm, next time try putting it on saute after you pull out the turkey breast and boil off some of that water/juice thickin up that gravy, I'm def going to be lookin for some turkey breast though next time I get a chance. thanks for sharing as always rick! ^5
The meat filled it about a quarter and the vegetables being in the basket brought it up more. It really wasn't to high considering the volume of all the food.

Most people use corn starch that is why I said that myself I use flour
@@katlee4948
Well, whatever you use, I agree that gravy could stand to be thickened up a bit with _something._
What size pot are you using, I'm not sure what size to get, 6 or 8 quart !
I usually do turkey in my Crock Pot, but it looks like I need to try my Instant Pot next time! 🍗
