- This is another stunner! The Pyrenees and the hextatrek just keep getting better, if that’s even possible! I stay in some lovely refuges, get caught in the rain, run into an old friend, and pass 2500 kms.

Beautiful there in the Pyrenees! Congrats! I am missing the trail so much...This year I will hike the Italian Alps, something like 1000km. But the summer is so far...
Ooh that will be so fun! Looks like a cold winter over at your cabin so far
Always pleasant to watch your vids and listen to your calm voice - keep it up Lauren!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Contribution towards the 2024 gear fund!
Wow thank you!! 🙏🏼
It's a 3 season hike, I guess. Fun to have some different groceries to shop.
Rain in the mountains is no fun and a bit dangerous!
Glad to see the sun came out again!
You make long days!
All the best! Kaat
Definitely a 3 season hike! It’s fun watching it change :)
mentally demanding ,a place i would not want to get vertigo in the city of ancient stone.
The rocks will meet your head and face. o inadvertently stoned .
Pleased for you, no injuries Lauren.
19 years since I was last on the HRP.... still the best hiking I've ever done.
Beautifully filmed thanks for sharing, cheers Alistair 👍
Glad you enjoyed it! This was probably my favourite section ☺️
Your comment at the end of the video made me laugh. The crazy stuff is where the good stuff is :)
Haha exactly. It’s where the memories are made
Good viewing stuff for a -8 afternoon here in CO.
Ooh yeah that arctic blast is rough!
It's awesome the countries you have visited while on trail you have really been able to see what most tourists never see or experience. Great video
It’s a super unique way to see all of these places for sure!
You should do a podcast style interview with the guys that came up with the Hexatrek. That would be cool. Also, could your GPS tracker help them refine the trail maps? Just a thought. So there's Kevin hiking this epic area in his track pants and sneakers. ha
Yes I need to! I chat with them on the phone/text fairly regularly but should do a proper recorded chat. And yeah haha he was mostly driving his van around and doing a few days of hiking at a time
Lauren, our whole family had really enjoyed watching your Hexatrek series!
Two questions for you…
When did you finish the trek and what is the name/brand of the pink hooded shirt you’re wearing on the trip? It seems to have stood up to the test! Thanks!
Thank you!! I finished on September 30th. So glad you’re enjoying the series.
The hoody is the outdoor research echo sun hoody. They’re great.
Adult Beverage Research Fund!
Thank you so much! Cheers!
Your trail name would be sniff sniff if I were to guess 😂 Keep the videos coming 👍
Haha it was cold out there!
Hiking in the mountains in the shadow of storms is the best feeling. It's as though one can reach out and touch the clouds and rain as it threatens to swallow you up. The wind shifts slightly in your favor and as the storm recedes gently you whisper not today, not today.
Exactly! And it’s so quiet and no one is out there. And the sky is so moody. Just beautiful!
It is such a wonderful hike ❤
Absolutely!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING 💗
This section was sooo pretty!!
Whoa CRAZY rain!
Sooo CRAZY!
Best, best music!
Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it :)
Love the video. Can i message you on IG?
Thanks! Glad you liked it. And sure 👍🏼
