Did you drive the oil restrictor pin down when you turned your oiler up... as shipped the oil flow is limited to about half capacity. For a 32" bar there is a pin that needs to be driven down before you can max the high flow oil pump out

FYI There's a little bump on the edge of the fuel cap [on the tank itself]: That bump is there to let you release pressure from the tank before pulling the cap all the way out. Stihl recommends you open the cap slowly to prevent fuel spray. Good to do if you put the saw away hot and open the tank cold later.

Those lines are ‘felling’ sights. The vertical line is used to set the notch cut for the direction you want the tree to fall. The horizontal line, the one inline with the bar, gives you an indication of where the bar is when it’s deep in the wood and you can’t see it during your back cut.

There's a pin you need to punch in by the oiler adjustment screw to let you open the oiler all the way. You'll need that if you're running a 32inch bar... alot of times they don't recommend a bigger size bar due to the oiler not being able to oil a bar that long its not the power.

Stihls bar recommendations are extremely conservative. They even recommend a 25" bar for the 661cm. But they say on the website this saw will run up to a 36" bar

If anyone has difficulty getting the wrap handle for this saw it uses the handle that is stock on the 462cm-R it has a scrench holder can in situ but can be removed with a sharp knife.

@@Katyhillfarmer no worries I had difficulty acquiring the wrap handle but as they updated the rescue saw which requires a wrap handle I jumped on it also to my knowledge it is the only wrap handle with the scrench holder it is a little cumbersome but I have not removed it thus far quite a useful addition. I normally like to put bright coloured duct tape on the shank of my screnches so I do not lose them but this won’t work on the handle as it has a tight fit.
