THE GILA - Archery Bull Elk 2023

A hunt that will always be remembered in the mountains of the Gila. Almost 2 long weeks spent with my father, as we were later accompanied by guides Derek and Nemo to achieve a goal of archery elk hunting bulls in the rut in the Gila.
After 10.5 days of glassing, covering new country and torn up feet we were finally able to put my first 6x6 bull to rest. Overcoming the highs and lows of elk hunting in September is what keeps you going back. Please enjoy the moments we were able to capture from our time in this majestic place.
