They're already 'circling the wagons' in the upper echelons. They'll make a public statement of sorts saying all the right things - - learn lessons, never happen again, etc, but they'll spirit her away to some comfortable environment to spend her millions till the dust settles. She'll be re-registered for her safety. Keep an eye open for someone called Vaula Pennells appearing on some conglomerates Board of Directors in the distant future. And so it'll continue.

I find it an insult to the rest of the population, I have been a director of several small companies, and that comes with a huge responsibility, I never earned the 'telephone number' salaries these PO executives got, but I was responsible for ALL the companies actions and was aware that I could be prosecuted for any wrong actions of the Company and end up with a custodial sentence. For Paula Vennells to sit there and say 'I don't recall' is not an answer, in fact listening to the evidence being revealed by the Public Enquiry proves she actually knew and was complicit with the cover-up, she and her colleagues collected their salaries each month, so by default MUST take the responsibility, SHE was in control of who her fellow directors were and had the FINAL word on what actions they took. If she couldn't be bothered to find out what her managers and directors were doing tough luck as CEO the BUCK STOPS WITH HER, you took the pay...now take the pain, I do hope every executive that was part of this fiasco and cover up get prosecuted, Likewise the 'bully boys or so called 'investigators' who put the individual Post Masters through the Courts using false evidence get prosecuted, they HAD A DUTY OF CARE to ENSURE the evidence they used was accurate and they didn't, so should now face the consequences. She's yet another person in a business who chose a side - she chose the businesses side at all costs and ignored the human element - I'm not pretending certain businesses don't do similar to this day, because while they're making money for themselves... nothing else matters to some people. She knew what she was doing, people paid this amount in roles like this aren't paid for their competence - they are paid to help cover things up when the business does wrong.

IMO, This was all planned to take down the community hubs of post offices. Remember when all the small POs were closed down, that left locals abandoned and nowhere to go to get their pensions etc? They had to have their pensions put into their bank accounts, rather than having their little social hub, POs were seen not to be viable anymore. The scandal was the next step to destroy this part of our much loved and needed daily routine, for their conversion to this digital age. They want everyone, including the elderly, to have an e- wallet, where they have full control over what goes in and out, as everything is done on line. Its all so devious, inhumane, and totally unacceptable. Its all part of the agenda, it doesnt matter to them if it takes 20 years to realise, it doesnt matter to them how many peoples lives suffer, or die, they continue to move forward with or without our consent. They now have the perfect excuse to plough ahead with a cashless society so this never happens again.
This only proves to me that, the government are not working for the peoole anymore, they all work for ridiculous wages and benefits, while the 99% barely cover their bills, whilst they are rewarded for doing as much damage as possible and are rewarded for it. If there was any true justice, they would have been named and shamed years ago, had all their assets seized and put into jail! They were quick enough to falsely accuse the innocent!

out of 10 types 5 got banned for causing extreme depression and anxiety.
after trying to move me onto anti psychotics (reason unknown, but my doc. dr.richard, ended up on the survivor tv series going loopy himself.)they left me to rot. he was my support person.
i got lucky, my sister didnt. she died a few years ago. alone and desperate for help, she always trusted the doctors..and the meds.
in cardiff there were many many cases of suicide amongst the younger gens. my gens.
it was all brushed under the carpet. they got away with a 2" appology in a newspaper offering a help hotline for victims. (agoraphobes dont tend to use telephones as it causes anxiety, they also dont go out to buy the daily paper), i got shown it two years ago.
they didnt follow up on any of the victims.
worst part (im 45 now, alive but my life taken from me), was the depression was a dental infection, bodys natural reaction to infection is to stop it spreading, stop the blood pumping hard, keep you rested...it makes you depressed so you do that.
but dentists arent real doctors apparently so doctors dont even look at that info.
to top it off i checked my records when the doc left the room and all it had for 20years of treatment was "smokes 10 a day", theyd deleted it. and i guess thats why the doctors secratary made excuses for 7years while i tried to get my history from them.
check records, you will find them stripped.

The directors and many of their lawyers should be held personally liable. They should be personally fined to such an extent as to recover all the costs plus custodial sentences - I don't see why the tax payer should have to pay. Company directors, gov officials and lawyers are paid big bucks and have a legal responsibility. They must be made to realise that they cannot get away with it - if you accept the job and the money then you also accept the responsibility. Unfortunately, so far they have got away with it however! Look at Grenfell Tower, blood scandal, Windrush, etc. It is not enough for them to merely lose their jobs but still keep their money and their freedom - not when so many people have been so cruelly harmed or killed. Something is very wrong with this country if there is no justice. I will vote for any political party that promises to sort this justice issue out - but all I hear is silence from the lot of them - I wonder why?
