Great video as always dude! I actually covered every remaining exclusive Wii U game in my latest video, not just the Nintendo ones. 3D World and Pikmin 3 are inevitably being ported! It needs to happen.
No. There was nothing good about that game. Beyond the controls you had: Game was very short, Sonic style trying to do too many play styles in one game while not being very good at any of them (on rails arwing, free range arwing, tank, and gyro-wing), unimaginative level design level. I get people want a new Star Fox game, but Zero was trash.
I've been thinking that we're going to see an announcement of 3D World and Pikmin 3 in the next direct for the last several. I think it could happen at literally any time Xenoblade X, I think it is gonna happen, but more toward the end of the Switch's lifespan. I think them choosing to do a Xenoblade 1 remaster (Thank you based monolith), combined with a mech-based 1st party game Daemon Ex Machina (rip), is going to prevent it from happening in the immediate future, but I do think it will happen /eventually/ honestly as much as I loved the Wii U, I'd really enjoy some 3DS ports to the Switch if they can make them work. Obviously Kid Icarus Uprising would be great, and I'd really like the Fire Emblems as well. I'd absolutely K I L L for an Awakening HD, with full voice acting. Then again, I'm hoping that Intsys is working on Thousand Year Door 2/remastered now that 3 Houses is in its DLC-only phase. I don't know if it'd be a popular move, but I'd also really like Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire ported and uprezzed. Those games were incredible and it feels like they were too good to be stuck in standard def
Man, I'd love to see SM3DW ported to the Switch. Such a fun game with great level design and music, I'd love to play it again and see it get the love it deserved like DKC Tropical Freeze did when it got ported last year.
@mr. bleb I wasn't saying that they put a lot of effort into it, I was just saying it was great that the game got ported so that it could get the exposure it deserved. I do agree that they charged too much for basically the same game with one character, but the game is so good that I'm glad it was able to be played by a wider audience.
19:00 what I have thought since Captain Toad was released is that Nintendo wants to encourage players to buy both games Captain Toad and 3D World. If 3D World was released first, then people would feel less motivated to buy Captain Toad because, that gameplay is already inside 3D World, so makes sense to release Captain Toad first (and it also makes sense to not include complete 3D World Levels in the game, to avoid giving the idea to players that they already have both games)
Awesome video, dude! I would also love more Pushmo on the Switch. I'm still bummed that Crashmo World got canceled, but I'm hoping the series finds new life on the Switch. Also I'm genuinely psyched for Tokyo Mirage Sessions. With how much the game tanked initially, I'm so happy it's been given this second chance. I share your optimism that it'll do better this time.

We’ve been getting too many Mario ports recently, the last time Zelda got a port was the Gameboy Advance with A Link to the Past. Edit: Also forgot about Xenoblade X
Aww, I love Nintendo Land. It’s the #1 game I’d wanted ported as the multiplayer mode is so amazingly fun! But, they also required the Wii U screen as a core gameplay element, so I agree with your “very low” assessment. 😑
We need twilight princess to return to the switch or its needs a sequel made for it twilight princess is my most favorite game of all time and it was my first Zelda game we should do a petition for both wind waker and twilight princess to get sequels or get ported to the switch
Calls Twilight Princess "traditional" when comparing it to open-world Windwaker. I think the word he was looking for was formulaic, because early Zelda's were more open world exploration, so I'd say Windwaker follows that tradition more than Twilight Princess
they definitely need to port the two HD _Zeldas..._ and hopefully make _Skyward Sword HD,_ if they can find a way to work around the tedious motion controls. I could see them doing all three to tide us over until _BotW 2_ gets here. also, I'd really love a _Pikmin_ HD collection, but I'd settle for just _Pikmin 4._
I feel dirty now... hehe I like the Wario game. Great video mate, I love the Wii U. In fact I have a soft spot for all "failed" consoles since the Saturn.
Opinions on a Sonic Lost World port? It's a kinda underrated Sonic game and it'd be awesome to give it a second chance. Maybe even give Boom a second chance if they fix all the bugs and problems?
Can you guys imagine if the Wii Controllers and the Wii U Gamepad were compatible with the Nintendo Switch? You could use them in some sports games and mario party games maybe, and also in the wii u ports.
If I had to guess 3D world is getting a sequel. It seems like they waited too long to do a port. My guess is that the sequel will come out next spring, being announced in the winter direct. I could see a port being released on the eshop also tho, I just have doubts it'll happen when they want to promote the sequel. A lot of people are saying BotW 2 won't come out next year and we are looking at a 2021 release. While I think it may still be up for the 2020 december release but we will see. If other people are correct, then next year is probably when the ports will be ported over. So far, there's been zelda stuff every year. I could also see the WW and TP games getting announced in the winter direct or E3. And them being sold as a pack will probably boost sales so I agree that's a good idea. However, this also brings up the question of having all of the core zelda games on switch. So far we have 3 (zelda, zelda 2, and Botw). Ocarina feels inevitable to come to switch, which makes me feel that a 64 online library is going to be coming next year. With Doom 64 and few other 64 games coming to switch, it brings up the question of other 64 titles that we don't have access to, leading me towards the 64 online. (Playing these 64 games on switch is a dream. I can't imagine playing Mario 64 on the switch.) So that covers Ocarina and Majora's mask. Only one left is Skyward Sword. And it would take the most to port it since the whole control scheme would have to change, there would have to be enough players wanting to buy it, and it's, in general, forgotten. Nintendo doesn't bring up Skyward Sword at all anymore and I don't think the joy con is accurate enough to do the sword swinging. Soooo, I think they would be ok leaving this one off. Pikmin is a tough one. I'm not sure if they would announce the other three on switch but it doesn't make sense not to port them since they've all been on all the consoles they could possibly be on. My guess would be that they might do a Baynetta deal where with pikmin 4, you get one of the older ones as a free download (probably 1 if I had to guess) and then they would also announce 2 and 3 being released on the eshop whenever 4 is announced. I am feeling next year would be a good time to release pikmin since next year is a bit of a question mark on how many of nintendo's ips are coming out with new games. Another port that I know had a lot of rumors going around was Metroid. I know it's an older port and not a wii u but i still stand by that this could sell really well with 4 coming out. I have a feeling that something may happen whenever the first trailer is announced, which looks like we could get one at E3. It was last January when it was announced so I think a trailer by that point could be possible with the announcement of the first three making way for Switch either that day or sometime soon in summer. Or this brings up the question of a GC online coming in 2021. It would include the metroid games and the third one would just get an eshop release. I don't think Nintendo would do a wii online since it's still being sold in game stop and just got a release of just dance oddly enough and it would require some reworking on the games. Those are probably best off getting remasters. However, if I'm wrong, then we can predict when pikmin 4 would be coming out so that it would release around the time of the other games. But do I think the metroid games will get a remaster or a port? I think a remaster will happen. Two of those are GC games and would benefit from upgrades and the wii one isn't that much better looking and the remasters would allow for them to rework the controls and add some things in. With other trilogies coming out on switch, I can see them trying their hand at it. I just hope that it's not 60. I think I would still pay 60 but both crash and spyro were 40. In general though, it seems that nintendo is done with their wii U ports. I think the most likely ones are Pikmin and the zelda ones. I don't doubt some ports will stop since we keep getting previously released games that missed nintendo consoles being announced and older games getting ports onto the switch. But the wii U seems done tbh. They did their work in 2018 since nothing new was coming out on the switch. Looking at all the games that have and haven't clearly show nintendo's plans with the franchise and how soon the sequel will come out or if nintendo is done with the game. I can see them holding off on zelda and pikmin but the others just seem to be games that they either have plans for, don't think the game will do well, or it takes too much to port.
Yes, but the other versions tanked so hard because the game does not work well AT ALL with traditional controllers. On PC is slightly less awful because the mouse is faster to transition between the inventory screen and gameplay
And they tried to polish the graphics but made them worse. They added more details in textures, but the "dirty and gritty" feel was lost, so the Wii U version surprisingly looks BETTER than the "improved" PS4/XB1/PC version
You know what was an underrated feature on Wii u The internet browser Closed curtains on the TV screen And when they open up Chivettes section: things that bounce
I want a Super Mario 3D World Deluxe with maybe one new small world of levels and a playable Daisy. I also want a HD Zelda collection that includes TPHD, WWHD, and uprezzed ports of OOT3D and MM3D for maybe $60 to $75 max. What we'll get is Super Mario 3D World Deluxe with one or two new Captain Toad levels and that ability to play as Toadette in the Captain Toad levels, and each Zelda game bar the 3DS ones for $60 each.
If 3D World was ported to the Switch, it wouldn’t be the same without the gamepad. The gamepad did so much to altar the experience...at least for me personally.
You are allowed. What people forget is that the Wii U played a major role in the Switch's existence. The gamepad functionality of the Wii U gave Nintendo the idea of the Switch
@@catguy4996 Very true, Nintendo's weird design choices often lead to great innovation. I find it hard to use a controller without Gyro aiming for things like shooters.
`4:56 They can! just look at puzzle box maker, for example. it's a really small game where you can make pixelart with four colours and play with/on it in different modes, and you can also share them.

What I want is a super paper Mario 2. I honestly loved the story of the first one and a sequel would amazing.
Absolutely this. I feel like if they could somehow mesh the story of Super with the gameplay of the older Paper Mario games, they could have a real smash hit on their hands.
Fighting Thunder that is true except I don’t really like rpg games that much except for Pokémon so what I’m wanting is just a sequel with new mechanics and other things but no rpg or fucking stickers
7Blastoise Boy That’s understandable. Even though I personally love them, I’ll admit RPGs aren’t without fault.
But for the love of ever-loving crap, whatever they do with the gameplay...NO STICKERS. I think no stickers is something we can both agree on.

Jordon Roy Oh yeah? Then where’s the PROOF?
A Potato maybe the fact that it got some of the best user and critic reviews of any game ever on the most comprehensive gaming review website. Not to mention several other review websites including a 10/10 on Eurogamer and a 5/5 on Gamesradar. 3D World and Pikmin 3 are inevitably being ported! It needs to happen.
Star Fox Zero could be interesting on switch.
Bubblegum Crash But the motion controls were the best part! Why get rid of them?
@@starch_tuber1778 you really think people are going to want to use motion controls on the go
Nathaniel Dogs Get rid of crappy gimmick controls, add in a online multiplayer and you have a hit Starfox game for the Switch.

I want EVERY! Zelda game on Switch.
I've been thinking that we're going to see an announcement of 3D World and Pikmin 3 in the next direct for the last several. I think it could happen at literally any time
Xenoblade X, I think it is gonna happen, but more toward the end of the Switch's lifespan. I think them choosing to do a Xenoblade 1 remaster (Thank you based monolith), combined with a mech-based 1st party game Daemon Ex Machina (rip), is going to prevent it from happening in the immediate future, but I do think it will happen /eventually/
honestly as much as I loved the Wii U, I'd really enjoy some 3DS ports to the Switch if they can make them work.

Super Mario 3D World should definitely get an enhanced port for the Switch, which could include a few new stages and Toadette as a playable character.
I'm hoping for Fatal Frame, Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Pikman 3. Dude I'd love it if they made a Pikman 4. And Super Mario 3D World.
Before watching the video the only WiiU exclusive titles I would love to see on the Switch would be Xenoblade X and Pikmin 3.
Me too! Especially Xenoblade
Awesome video, dude! I would also love more Pushmo on the Switch. I'm still bummed that Crashmo World got canceled, but I'm hoping the series finds new life on the Switch.

What if, for using QR codes on the Switch, you could use the Online app to take a picture and send it to the Switch? I think it’d be an okay change.
Windwaker was great on Wii U, but the framerate can be really bad when there's a huge explosion happening on screen. Maybe the Switch will fix that.
If they ported it I'm confident it'd be fixed
Platinum has a lot of teams for smaller project. Big boy team works on their big games, so a port is easy to do.
You present yourself so casually, I can imagine you just turning your chair around and start playing with stuffed animals
Xenoblade Chronicles can run on the 3ds so It could run on the switch
ben31uk it’s already being remastered
they definitely need to port the two HD _Zeldas..._
and hopefully make _Skyward Sword HD,_ if they can find a way to work around the tedious motion controls. I could see them doing all three to tide us over until _BotW 2_ gets here.
also, I'd really love a _Pikmin_ HD collection, but I'd settle for just _Pikmin 4._

What about ZombiU? I know it isn't an exclusive anymore but a port/sequel should be done on the Switch, right?
Yes, but the other versions tanked so hard because the game does not work well AT ALL with traditional controllers. On PC is slightly less awful because the mouse is faster to transition between the inventory screen and gameplay
And they tried to polish the graphics but made them worse. They added more details in textures, but the "dirty and gritty" feel was lost, so the Wii U version surprisingly looks BETTER than the "improved" PS4/XB1/PC version
AC Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis Ultra Smash should not have existed, sorry
