Gran Sonido,Hermosa y estupenda colección,Soy fan de la Marca Yamaha.Que sonido tan limpió,Claro, cálido y muy cristalino,lo percibo sin el más mínimo de distorsión
Any opinion on the Kenwood L-07 or 08 vs Onkyo integra M-504 and these Yamaha MX 80-mx1000 amps? I want the wide soundstage but good resolution and tight defined bass. Speakers currently running are polk audio monitor 10 but may upgrade to either an pair of logans or even the JBL Studio 590. Would like some insight on how the yamaha power amps fair against the others as i want to retire my yamaha dsp-Ax1 intergrated amp.
My choice would be Kenwood, Yamaha, Onkyo, but the Kenwood is hi maintenance, it has has some unobtanium output transistors, the Yamaha is the safest choice, by me(I have repaired one, and although it has fancy circuitry the parts are not hard to find, and it is service friendly).
different but both are excellent amps. This one is obviously more powerful and can very much drive any types of speakers. The B-2 would struggle below 4 ohms.
@@atelier_HiFi , awesome and thankyou for the reply. You have an awesome collection, listen in good health my friend. I love the MX1000, I have it paired with the pre CX1000 too. Yamaha amps have always been warm to neutral sounding. The are so muscial incline. Cheers
@@atelier_HiFi If I may ask, where can they find such good and very rare devices? I will be very much looking forward to their videos! Am I interested in whether there is a very big sound difference between Sony Tan8550 and Yamaha B-1/B-2!? Do they have sony SS8150
@@Sonyvfet hello Michael, it took many years to build my collection. Make sure to subscribe to the channel if you have not done already and when the videos will come up, you will know.
I purchased a CX-1000U, a MX-1000U and TX1000U new in 1988 via dealer accommodation when I was 15. I saved up all summer.
My favorite power amp, that I’ve purchased of all time
I got my MX-1000U at a pawn shop 20 years ago for $100. She's been my fav powerplant ever since. Been tempted to recap etc, but I haven't seen a need.
You mean you stole it from a pawn shop for $100 😂

Cold solder joints and few capacitors should be the regular problem.
I have the MX-1 and its a phenomenal amp and combined with the PC2002m makes my pair of NS-1000Ms sing.

Very nice. How does it compare to your Yamaha B2?

had this pushing my fortes and cerwin vegas back in the days
it could power 3 sets of CW at the same time. I know someone doing just that with one of my restored units.
bought this in the military ......back when everyone was into separates....dont have mine anymore ....im going to find me a MX1000
And now please Sony Tan8550 or does it have to revise first?
I have a few 8550s but they all need restoration. When I find some time, I will restore one and post a video. They are fantastic amplifiers.

@@atelier_HiFi All right, it's already done! Do you also have Sony SS8150 speakers in your collection?
@@Sonyvfet hello Michael. No I do not.
Is this power amp better than a M-80, I mean on all spec? Looking for one is worth it ?
Is the frog's ass watertight? :) what do you think?
😮❤
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙂
