My uncle was Flight Engineer on one of the Horsa towing versions to Arnhem. He was shot down and bailed out on a second trip to drop supplies there. Would therefore like to get hold of one of these - perhaps the Italeri version.

These ' little ' stories parts of the big one are very interesting . We have heard about big battles. But ordinary people were there, did their best and tried to survive. Yes, the Italeri kit have a towing version.

It is obviously extremely professional and authentic to paint and reconstruct the entire interior of such a model, but maybe I am just too lazy to do all that work because one cannot be able to see 99% of it anyway as soon as the fuselage is closed.

When u fitter the rear gunner on the tail was there a large gap around it fitted?
