Tough time of year to sell a bike mate. I’d be inclined to give that blue cowling a wee rundown and a spray of undercoat and then some silver paint. Even if it’s a bit rough, it’ll look better imo. Love this channel btw! It’s growing every week. Keep up the good work!
I am tempted to do that but I was hoping g for a quick sale but if it's going to sit around for a bit I may spend some time doing a few more bits but we shall see as there's alot to do on my more incomplete projects right now 😅🤟
Great video pal just keep pushing , you sound nice and clear the video quality is great. And I enjoyed watching . Hope your channel grows big anough to bring you some goodies ... Do you ride bikes yourself ???
Thanks I appreciate that I always try to put out the best quality I can for the picture and sound 🤟 I haven't riden one for a few years now family and work priorities have meant owning one long enough to go for a ride hasn't been an option but soon I shall treat myself to something I want to keep 🤟 Thanks for your support 🤟
Thanks mate! I'm not giving up any time soon I'm finally doing something that I really enjoy and it's all going in the right direction for once 🤟 maybe around April or something I'll start getting a bit of riding done and some trips on film, got a few special ones I would like to do 🤟
Hi Bud, Bandit looking good. Make a good winter hack for someone. Hard to sell bikes in winter but I'm sure someone will buy it. Everytime is see the channel on my feed, I always think, how is Sam getting on. Yeap, good channel bud, just don't change. good honest content. many thanks bud.
Thanks I won't be stopping the bike videos they are the bread and butter of this channel but there will be a few cars and maybe some other things here or there along the way 🤟
i sold one them about 5 years ago with 14 thousand miles on it . the previous owner had fitted gsxr750 USD forks on it ,looked ok , we got 1750 for it :) i would have said that was worth about 1250 . keep up the good work m8 .
the colour code is under tank, but a cheaper option is ford stardust silver for the tail mate. worth doing as bikes not shifting as you know just now. thinking you should keep it yourself it will sell with more miles on it in future.
loving the channel buddy, ive been doing what your doing for the last 30 years not on you tube though,im also in swansea so if you ever need anything give me a shout.
Probably be a few weeks before that is back on the channel got a few other videos ready for the next couple of weeks but it will be back before long I'm raring to see if it could be something that simple 🤟
Need to see the figures on the screen Sam mate flicked through the video to the end and didn’t hear the figures I can’t watch it in full too much to do
Bro, Iv been where you are and don’t reduce the bandit because it didn’t sell immediately, if I was you I’d remove your advert on FB and re advertise for £1350 Ono and keep it there x
Thanks I don't think it's worth more than 1000 personally due to history and condition I was just dropping it to try get a quick flip but I'm not desperate so I'll hold out for a while 🤟 also had a couple of decent trade options I may consider 👀
had I got some spare cash I would be well interested in the Bandit but I am skint so never mind, £800 is a fair price for it as it stands being a cat C bike and it will do someone well
I was planning on using some polishing compound like I've done on headlights before to try make it more clear but I didn't have any to hand, maybe if it's not budging I'll give it a go 😅🤟
@@SamsAutoAssortium it’s more about the look that a tinted screen would bring Also I really like the rear blue cowl if you could get a blue front mug guard to match with the rest left silver she d be one of a kind
@ianreid5789 I hear you, I was just saying to one of the lads in the unit if there was some blue down near the front to tie the rear cowling in it would look great 🤟
Dude I admire ur enthusiasm and effort that you are putting into ur channel but..... dont get into the habit of throwing on 2nd hand parts and tyres etc to get a bike through an mot to flog on for a quick profit , cos if someone ends up badly injured or dead cos of stuff youve done and documented on here to that bike then ur liable , remember that. lets start with the rear tyre , did you check the manufacture date on the replacement rear tyre??? bike tyres have a 4 to 5 year life , regardless of use , that tyre can have a shed load of tread which is legal for the mot , but the compound could be hard and past it , which is extremely dangerous. If ur going to sell a bike on FIT NEW TYRES! The forks ,, you got a 2nd hand pair of forks for £40 , they were good enough for the mot ,,, a mile down the road they could end up as bad as the ones you took off. LEARN HOW TO REBUILD FORKS! you dont know the condition of the seals , the bushes and the oil in those forks , its not a difficult to rebuild a set of forks then you have piece of mind that theyre done properly. When refitting the forks the pinch bolts on the yokes need to be re loctited and torqued to spec , you dont just throw them back in and use a temu battery wrench to tighten them ,, theyre torqued for a reason because under riding conditions they can come loose with vibration and the result is catastrophic. When you change any brake disc , firstly i`d never advise re using disc bolts , and at a push if you had to then they need loctiting in and torquing to spec , again a brake disc coming off is catastrophic , that thing will do 130mph , its not a chinese 125 ffs . Also never ever ever ever ever support a bike on a bike jack using the exhaust headers to support the bike , ALL the weight of the bike is being propped up on ur header bolts , snap them and you are in big trouble , use the engine cradle to support the bike , so use blocks of wood either side so you clear the bottom of the sump and the weight of the bike is being held up by the frame and NOT the exhaust headers , Also get urself 4 anchor points put into that floor so once the bike is on the jack it is then held down and its not going to go anywhere. Not having a go m8 , just take some advice from someone who knows ,, I very rarely comment on here cos half these w4nkers on here aint worth the steam off my pi55 , but I like ur have a go attitude ,, get urself a workshop manual for every bike you do and follow the recomendations in it. Ive been riding and working on bikes for 37 years.
Spray the back panel, it looks crash repaired on the pics, it’s a mind game Sam, the hard part is getting a buyer to come see it.
Thanks, I may get round to doing it as I'm not in a rush to get rid of it I'm just keen to get on with the other projects I've got sitting around 🤣🤣
The awsome content is what keeps us coming back and you. keep up the great work
Thanks I appreciate that 🤟
Well done with the bandit, I have been following you for a while now, good luck with your next project

Can't believe you've still got it I thought it would be long gone by now wish I had a van I'd of took it off you ready for when I pass my test 👍
I thought it would be gone by now too! Drop my Facebook page a message I have a van maybe we could work something out for delivery 🤟
@SamsAutoAssortium it looks amazing mate the blue really looks good on it dunno if you'd fancy doing that brother I live in Scotland 😂
Look forward to every video you put up buddyyyyy
Thanks 🤟🤟
Subscribed a liked the bandit build as a had a red one back in the day which cost me £3K it was my first bike and I liked it .
Great vid mate! I was itching to sand down that blue plastic part and spray it silver 😂 hopefully it will sell soon
Cheers bro, you can come do it for me if you want 🤣🤣
Good content mate love your channel keep them coming and your looking sharp with you new hair cut
Thanks🤟 barber earned his money on this one it was looking a bit wild at the start of the video 😅🤣

To be fair it looks tragic with that blue panel, as a buyer I’d rather see the honest damage on the genuine panel.
Agreed
The blue is growing on me personally but I think you may have a point, I've kept the silver panel so won't take 2 minutes to put it back on
Would love to add a 1200 bandit to the collection but I’ve simply no room for one 😔
When you sorting the chinese bike mate ? Waiting on that video to see if it starts off the side stand lol
Probably be a few weeks before that is back on the channel got a few other videos ready for the next couple of weeks but it will be back before long I'm raring to see if it could be something that simple 🤟
When I was trying to sell my scruffy Bandit for £750 someone offered me a swap for a PS2 😂😂 eventually sold it to a mate at work for £500
Wow that means I may have to keep it and tidy it up a bit more 😅😅😅
Need to see the figures on the screen Sam mate flicked through the video to the end and didn’t hear the figures I can’t watch it in full too much to do
Put on the big boy pants,
I'll bear that in mind for next time 😅

Thanks so much more to come too 🤟

Yeah I think around £800 is right on the money for the bike given its history and condition, someone will take it off my ha ds soon enough no doubt 🤟
its a tough buyers market
It sure is right now 👎
I might be interested in the Bandit, where are you based?
@IloveMK based in Swansea if your interested drop me a message on Facebook 🤟
