Next pit bike. If you are doing full restoration then please get enamel paint for the logo on the engine case. Small effort but really makes the engine pop. Love your podcasts, best thing to watch since wheeler dealers.
Thanks that means alot wheeler dealers has been like my main inspiration since I was a kid 🤟 I'll think about the enamel paint as I want to make the next one really special and that sounds good!
Good tip to clean engine cases with all the corosion, is copper scourers they work amazing , n finish off with abot of autosol , bring them up like new mate , great vids really enjoying them 👌👍
Thanks I'll get some of those I did use autosol at the end but I used a normal scouring pad with it which I think dulled the shine a bit but I'll have the engine all the way out for the next one so it will be gleaming 👌
well done on that pit bike bud. good little earner not that. looking forward on the other bike. i guess you could put a big bore kit with a up grade on the carb. but that's going to eat in the budge. I think with all that needs doing to it, i would just replace plastics and sort out the frame. New handle bars and brakes. then it should look go bud.
Thanks 🤟 I've heard a big bore isn't really worth doing on the 140s it's easier and cheaper to just get a bigger engine apparently but I've seen there's a z40 cam and a few other bits that can be done fairly easily to make it better so I'm thinking along the lines of that and cosmetics 🤟
You have sold the bike on the very last position on the chain and the new owner will need a new chain after one ride or he takes a link out. The wheel goes to the front so you have life in the duration of the chain life as it stretches as you are using it and you bring the wheel back slowly to the end of the swingarm when the chain is dead 👍
@waynechadwick362 thanks I wasn't aware of any of that before hand, but will keep it in mind for the future, I've never actually changed a chain and sprocket before so clearly made a few mistakes, but the new owner was planning to adjust it anyways as I'm considerably heavier than him so the chain was to slack for his liking when sitting on it anyways 😅
Yes I've realised now it needed some extra links taken out, luckily the guy who bought it is able to adjust it himself but I'll know for next time round now 🤘
You've done well with that tbh you could of got about 500 for it had a few nice trick bits on it wheels ect the next one should buy new panels for it don't under sell it jeep it up mate
Thanks! In all fairness I had no idea what it was worth I probably would have got more if I had advertised it but I literally had someone wanting it before it was even half ready so I just rolled with it, next one will be very special when it's done 🤟
NEVER put tyre shine on a motorcycle, the lock tabs on the rear sprocket are supposed to be bent into the sprocket bolts to stop them coming out. That chain isn’t going to be on for long!
was just about to say that , and if you need to take it apart just tap the tabs back a little bit put a socket on and give it a tap flatens them out , this takes me back to my 50cc days
The tabs are supposed to bend into the bolt heads to stop them working loose and possibly locking the rear wheel.
That makes way more sense I was copying the ones on the other bike i have so they must have been done wrong too 🤦
while that is true it has never worked for me, i used them but the bolts still came loose and hit the swingarm, destroying my hub
Nice job pal and a bit of a profit so win win !! Looking forward to the next one
Cheers 🤘
You did a great job with the bike, looking forward to the next one. Well done.
Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the next one now too 🤟
Another great wee video 😊
Thanks 🤘
looking forward to seeing the stomp rebuild Sam 👍 the more you do these bikes the more you will learn 😊
That's the plan, hoping I learn alot from the stomp rebuild 🤟
great job on that one bud, keep it up
Cheers, really enjoyed doing this one 🤟
Not a bad result. Especially from what you started with.
The stomp should give you some great content too.
Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the stomp!

Awesome stuff mate
Cheers dude 🤟
Awsome video cheers sam
Cheers 🤟
Bend the tabs in to the head of the bolt. Stops them coming loose
Yeah I guess I was kinda right the first time 😅
Very nice job
Cheers! 🤟

It's easier to install a chain and take links out of it when you keep the rear wheel on where you want it
I will be sure to try that with the next one 🤟
Nice 👍

Doesn't matter. It's a cheap used bike new owner shouldn't expect a brand new chain and they cost almost nothing for these
Looking good
Thanks 🤟
I do the same thing mate buy fix and sell for a profit, easy money these bikes if u get em cheap enough!
They are great little bikes I've never done one before so will impressed with the turnaround on this one🤟
When fitting a new chain, the rear wheel should be fully forward!
I will remember that for the next one 😅🤟
You gained a new subscriber
Never put tyre shine on a motorbike tyre, you could cause an accident.
That chain 1st ride will come off it’s definitely needs right size chain
Yes I've realised now it needed some extra links taken out, luckily the guy who bought it is able to adjust it himself but I'll know for next time round now 🤘
@ to many links 🔗 took out mate will weaken the chain I believe
any idea where i can get a rough cheap one to do for myself in barry
@julianwoodward5360 loads on Facebook marketplace but everyone is asking alot more money than what I paid for mine 👎😅

Nice one.
Your meant to bend the tabs so they hold against the head of the bolt to stop them turning blud
@kevinrandle1339 thanks I know that now, I copied them off the other bike so guess they are wrong on that one too 🤦

New project bike hmmm. My guess is a ge or gs500
Not quite but all will be revealed next weekend 🤟
Can I buy the other pitbike off you how it is ?
I’m in south wales
Sorry it's not for sale I will be fixing it for more videos 😅🤟
Could’ve put a new tyre on it 😅
I could have but I had arranged to sell the bike before it was done and he was fine with that 😅 next one will have everyone done 🤟
Big bore kit 😏
First view!!
@pikesbikesnguns7720 Hell yeahh 🤘🤘
With this next bike put a 190cc beast engine in it 😵💫
