I too attended this concert in Bengaluru. The in-concert experience is so vastly different to what you get when watching on UA-cam. It was a scintillating experience being there. Also at the same time you can pinpoint the mistakes made by the artist only in the video. When you are there, it's all a blur. A beautiful blur i.e

Kaushikiji's rendition took me down memory lane 45 years back when I had heard Panditji, Ajoy Chakraborty for the first time.A similar impact once again. Touches the soul.

Some people don't understand how difficult it is to master indian classical music whether it is Hindustani classical music or carnatic classical music. It takes years of hard practice to master this art form. It isn't easy at. I have learnt both Carnatic classical vocal and Hindustani classical vocal for many years in the US and I am still continuing to learn Hindustani classical vocal.
it's so heartening that Kaushikiji is coming to her self, giving more time to alaap and vistar and reducing acrobatics, in addition to her voice, which is great for a classical singer. sincerely hope to hear some more brilliant performances from her highness before joining my favourite late kishoriji.

Thanks for Uploading. Atmosphere is too good.Kaushiki ji Singing with her original touch. One important remark is that Tabla is very Disturbing not only to Kaushiki but for listeners too.
Tabla tones down in open air and with flood lights. Also tabla player can not test unless the bandish takes off. so in the first cycle (aavartan) itself the tabla needs to be retuned. Tabla player can not help. Artists are very much used to it.
