Definitely, Rashid jis voice is very melodious and nobody starts with such a slow pitch and badhat. The way he expands the rag is also very unique and touching both heart and mind. Definitely Rashid jee is rarely one amongst the greatest.
We have lost a great singer with potential to rise to the highest level in just about a decade. He would sing soulfully and his concerts were a guaranteed success. May he rest in peace.

It's undoubtedly an absolutely mesmerizing rendition. But what's the point undermining others? We have so many stalwarts, why one has to be the best?
This is the way to take the past forward. We lost a great singer, performer and a truely dedicated human being. His music will live on.
