I'm a white Afrikaner (Boer) in South Africa, and I'm enjoying a Mongolian rock band with a black American guy.... how amazing is their music or what am I saying!! The HU totally rocks!!!
INCREDIBLE 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hey I'm swiss, reading the comment of a South African for an American who watches a video of mongolian musicians. So that's 4 continents 😆 👍 And yes the Hu are awesome, had the chance to see them live!!!!♥
Jamel_AKA_Jamal
If you have a chance to visit Mongolia you will find their hospitality is second to none especially from the nomadic folks. I find it a little ironic humble ppl like that took and ruled almost half the world not really that long ago. The rise of Genggish Khaan was well less than 800 years ago when most of the world was already established.
you are one of the good guys man...
I'm Burmese.
I didn't know I needed Mongolian throat singing rock in my life, but apparently I do! Awesome!! 🤣🤣
SO GOOD!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Check out Punjabi metal. Also amazing like Bloodywood
Me neither...and I'm so glad I learned otherwise!
This band is extraordinary. I can't hardly wait for the new album. They seem to be bringing people from around the world together, which is something that music sure does have the power to do. I think that is awesome too.
They are uniting the world under mongolian music instead of mongolian horses
I found them on Spotify. They came up on song radio after Heilung. I can't wait to hear more from these guys.
@@thestrategistbrit conquering the world through raw powerful rock
Hell yeah, love them ,too. Great band!
Genghis Khan would be so proud.
Producer: How much energy will you guys provide ?
The Hu: Yes
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
The Mongols were the most feared warriors in history who established the largest land empire known to man. It covered 9 million square miles and encompassed most of Russia, China, India, Korea, southeast Asia, Persia, the Middle East and eastern Europe. That gives a gut level meaning and visceral impact when they sing of their ancestors and what they've become now... how they've essentially dishonored their forebearers -- that they're traitors to the principles and values which lead their elders to conquer the known world. This be some powerful shjt!!
Geghis Khan!!!! My brother!
Probably equally as important in their long term survival is that Genghis Khan reorganized their society and created a written language for mongolian.
He said land empire you idiot
@@huntgame2523 dude chill
34 million sq meter land. not a 9 million.
The band used those instrument:
1 “tovshuur “ means clickers|2:10|
2 “morin huur” horse head |2:13| and you can hear on 2:24
3 “Aman huur” harmortica
The voise technique they producing it called “kharkhira” and “khuume” Mongolia throat singing technique
the hu
The interesting thing is that all four guys in the video have Masters of Music degrees from the Mongolian Conservatory, (University level) on both classical and modern instruments, and the long-haired singer was actually a professor at the place. They've turned what was basically an experiment with two videos into a world-wide following of millions of fans, two albums, several world tours, and they've done very well.
I love their music, its perfect for my housework, realy gets the energy flowing.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
yea and the text is so true we better wake up before it is to late
It's perfect for gym!
The Hu is incredible. Mongolian folk metal is exactly what this world needs.
Did you hear the horses ??? Close your eyes, you can see them, feel them, even smell them.
Saddle up,get a bow,some good arrows and let’s go!!!!!!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
5:17
Richard Putz there not horses there the horse head instruments
hearing their songs make me want to build a wall and im not even chinese
less talking, more raiding!!!😂😂
Wow My Mongolia The Hu🔥🔥🔥📀🔊📣🎧🎻🎶🎵🎸🎺
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You are a brave man! Shades of Ramstein. Now that you listened...I promise to listen to all your reactions...even if I am not crazy about them. You are super!
Nancy Bell 🤣🤣🤣👍🏾
it's not ramsstein.this is Mongolian culture
I know its Mongolian culture...I enjoyed the video
Once you listen to it you're overcome with the urge to conquer Asia.
Best music I've heard in DECADES. They are tearing up the internet. Amazing. All four of those guys have DEGREES IN MUSIC.
😂😂😂 just wait , and there they go .... rock metal folcloric from Mongolia ... told you they're amazing, they have a new MV, thank you for your reaction 😍😍💞
Thank You 🙌🏾🙌🏾
The Hu are getting a lot of great reactions at festivals wherever they appear and quite right too I love their energy and what they sing about too, As you like something different to listen to I suggest a band called Omnia and a song of theirs Fe Ra Huri they are worth checking out also a band called The Apocalypse Orchestra and their track The Garden Of Earthly Delights .
i know omnia too. did ever lissen too kokopelli, earth warrior en Wytches' Brew?
Love me some Mongolian Rock throat singing. I've been following them for a couple of months now.
Heh, where the Mongolian Empire forced a bunch of people to obey together by force, these guys are getting people to unite follow willingly through music. GENIUS!
👍🏾
i really LOVE their unique style& their music!!!
👍🏾
thank you for your reaction! It is amazing. Greetings from Mongolia
Im so glad you listened to these guys. I had never heard of them until a couple years ago and now I found your vid. I usually listen to Grateful Dead and Johnny Cash lol but I fell in Love with these guys passion and the way they play those traditional instruments. Love your channel, you have a great soul Jamel!!!
I’m so glad you reviewed this group, love them. They don’t get enough attention
Love the HU ❤️. 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
I was enamored with The Hu from the first moment I heard them (several months ago)! I did not even need to know the words for their music to speak to me. Have you heard of the Turkish Rock mucisian Barış Akarsu? - Islak Islak is my favorite song of his (it is a love song). Sadly, he was killed in a car accident on his birthday (many years ago).
These guys are amazing. I stumbled across them by accident and stuck around.
Less than 3 seconds into the song & I'm headbanging so enthusiastically my dog thought I was having a seizure.
I just found The Hu this year as well and my reaction was similar!! They are just awesome - love the whole sound and the folk/rock crossover :D
WOW! f'n amazing. Holy cow. Finally a new 'sound' to add to my life.
I absolutely love all the facts and little bits of info in the hu and hu reactions comment sections.. their music blows me away
I just discovered this band today, and I had no idea that you had reacted to them. They are amazing!
Kinda makes me want to pick up an ax and shield and do battle shit.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
That is the best way to listen to a song... and yeah just WOW x
Yessssss soooooooo gooooood great performance. Amazing voice Just amazing . The best world . Thank you Janel , Always enjoy your reactions! 💕💕😁 Dimash Dears From Mongolia

Юу вэ? юу вэ? Юув. from Mongolia
So happy to see a real reaction...nice one!!! They are just amazing!!!
I am totally with you. Awesome music, awesome video. Thanks for sharing your passionate review.
🙏🏾Thank You
Dont know if you caught it but when playing the instrument with the horse head, they are so into their Mongolian heritage he even makes the instrument sound like their prized horses multiple times but you hear it easily at 5:17 .
I love them!!!
I was blown away too 😍
👍🏾
You are such a lovely open mined young man, Jamel..and you know how to musically kick ass like a big dog! (sly smile) Well done little brother on another kick ass song.
He doesn’t pause the song. …. …. …. Tellling. This music is groundbreaking. Thank you for this reaction even if it’s old. We should all watch this video again. (Thank you for the subtitles)
I just discovered The Hu and am catching up on the reaction videos of them
I love this song because it's obviously Mongolian Metal but with a country-boy vibe.
What I see when I hear this song is a young man on the frontier searching for adventure to get away from the toils of herding and farming.
This is one of those songs that stick in your head. The guy on the Horse head fiddle is amazing the way he does that throat singing. Great reaction 👍
Thank You👍🏾
Love the powerful imagery... and the dynamic look and feel of the lyrics, the fellas, wow.. so great.. thanks... thanks... honor our life...xxxx
Ene har hvrtel ingej shvteh gejdee OMG♥♥♥The Hu🔥🔥🔥🏆

And I'm from Baghdad
These guys have BLOWN up! I love seeing them reaching internationally success!
Крутой монгольский клип.
that throat singing thing is called as "Huumii or Hoomii" or throat singing.
You really want to go down a rabbit hole? Check out Heilung. They'll have you wanting to raid a village in no time.
can you recommend one please
Fylgjia Ear, In Maidjan & Krigsgaldr would be 3 nice Heilung songs to check out - awesome stuff
I can’t wait for them to play in Sacramento this year....
👍🏾
They are just as amazing live! ❤🔥
New to the HU. Getting to like them, more and more.
Your reaction is so amazing, you can feel the power. Actually your reaction give me much more inspiration 😁💪
🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
One of the GREATEST, Love Love Love their Music. And teaching myself Mongol language!
The HU band r so bad ass they r bringing us all in to a new mongol empire so much power
You would love Alien Weaponry, a Maori (New Zealand) metal band. Or Mestatoll, and Estonian Rock/Metal band. Same Indigenous/Heritage rock 💪🏽
Word you were looking for is mongolian throat singing. It's type of traditional singing metod.
P.S. I had same reaction when I listened it first time - just wow.
THANKS🙏🏾
If you can listen to The Hu without your head or feet bouncing, you have to be tone deaf.
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Oh my gracious, how incredible was that. I was so enraptured it was the second listen through when I saw the lyrics. That was so very cool thank you for introducing me to something i had never ever come across and my life has been improved by this exposure. this is very cool
This song is the out cry of all oppressed peoples. Rise up, remember the constructive ways of your ancestors. Stop engaging in futilities and hyperemotionalism. Honor the creator.
Jamal, want to tell you this. Your reaction is just as positive as to when I introduced this group to a good number of people. This group is rare and hope they will be at ok under first a long time. At one time we had the english invasion of music. Now hope is the Mongolians because this music is great, insane, powerful and Epic rolled up into one. LONG LIVE THE HU BAND. COME TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN AND IF IT OK WITH YOU I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU.
There's a ten hour loop of this available. If you listen to the whole thing you'll grab a horse and a bow then start looking for some Chinese walls to knock over...
My wife and I got to see them live in St. LOUIS for our honeymoon on October 30th. Absolutely amazing band!!!
They just released another song SHOOG SHOOG!
Hope you get to it soon👍👍👍
i love how it left you speachless
I’ve seen some of ur vids looking at srv reactions and stuff but now I’m looking at ur playlists and it’s every vid I would want a reaction to😂👌
Tengri is the inner Mongolian guy. Basically Mongolian. Tengri means Tenger meaning SKY
I have been waiting ages for you youtubers to react to these.
Yup!!! They kill it live too.
Oo my Mongolian music ❤❤❤
🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Have you heard wolf totem? Will be seeing these guys at aftershock🤘
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Oh my god I just love Mongolia. I was there 11 years ago and was supposed to go back this year and then Corona hit. I can really recommend it for those who love wild camping and experiencing a life and people very different from their own. Added to that the Mongolian are the most warm people into the world and it really is heaven on earth. It's the only place I have ever felt 100% at peace.
not sure if this would be of interest but i highly recommend Wardruna - Voluspá
. Norwegian folk music. Had the pleasure of seeing them live in NYC. Moving experience. Not sure if Im correct but it tells the viking story of creation leading to Ragnarok. Check it out you might like it
These guys are amazing. I absolutely love their album and bought the first ticket I could find to their first live tour. If they come around again, I highly recommend going to see them. You should also check out their songs Shoog Shoog & The Great Chinggis Khaan.
Happy Easter, have a nice holiday!
Nancy Bell 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾 Happy Easter
Oh man... this song made me so sad... so sad about the end Mongols' 'heritage going lost if it wasn't of The HU keeping those black banners high to remind their own people who they were and who they are now. I dunno if another Chinggis Khaan will ever arise from Mongolia but... dammit... I'm an Italian guy and I can feel that in a very deep deep deep level, thinking about the great Roman Empire.... if I think about the Mongol Empire, which was way bigger than the Roman and any other in human history I shake like a leaf. Oh man... I love'em, I really do.... I do, because I'm astonished by such an idea of greatness an human being can accomplish. Chenggis Khaan was definitely one of a kind, man.... really one of a kind!!!
If you ain't banging your head you dont have soul hahahaha...😂😂😂
This rock...✊✊
I love this group !!!
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
your reaction was the best I've seen!
