I have never been a fan of heavy metal. But these guys are the exception. I enjoy their different sound. Mongolian throat singing with very cool instruments.

The HU and Babymetal are the only two metal bands I like right now. I've never been one much into music, and most definitely not metal, but these two bands are completely different from what I would consider the norm for metal bands. My wife is an 80's rocker chick, and she is fully on board with those two groups as well. So happy to have found them, I'm actually listening to music more often because of them.

They are awesome live, saw them last fall opening for Halestorm.
Yes, throat singing with traditional Mongolian instruments along with standard guitar, bass, and drums. The 2 string being played with a bow is a Morin Khuur, and the 3 string being played like a guitar is a Tovshuur.
This is one of 3 songs they redid with new English lyrics and guest vocalists. This one with Danny Case (From Ashes to New), Wolf Totem with Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), and Song of Women with Lzzy Hale (Halestorm)

It's really cool how the Morin Khuur is mimicking a whinnying horse.

The Hu are SO fantastic. Their entire first album "The Gereg" is great from start to finish, and their second album comes out in a month. They're one of the bands I've been listening to the most over the last couple of years.

I recommend the song "Shireg Shireg (accoustic performance)" , which, i find, demonstrates their style and the throat singing nicely. I think it is hard not toget drawn into that.

Yes, you should do Wolf Totem and Song of Women. Even if we hate to make a woman cry, it is an awesome fusion of traditional and Metal music.

The first song that introduced them to us was Wolf Totem. The video was like watching a movie. As someone mentioned below, you should check out Song of Women with Lizzy Hale. It is amazing. I love this fusion of old and new. It creates a very fresh sound while paying tribute to their origins.

The first song I ever listened to from The Hu was Sugaan Essena which is the theme from Star Wars: Jedi fallen order video games from Respawn published by EA.
I really like we’ve told him as well but not the English version.
Their cover version of sad but true by Metallica is absolutely awesome, epic it will knock your damn socks off right up the fucking arse like 🤘

It’s my 2nd favorite (Wolf Totem being 1st), not just because of the music, but because of what the song is about. The song is about a Father and Mother saying goodbye to their son who’s riding off to join the Horde, and the advice they give him. It touches me deeply, reminding me of when I joined the US Army right after High School, my Mother saying goodbye and giving me advice the day I was leaving for Basic Training.

Dominika, since you love Mongolia and all the things it stands for, listen to this traditional band called "Huun-Huur-Tu" and search for "Live Berkely"
The Tuva and Mongolians are very proud people and highly respect their ancestors, their habits, traditions and folklore. They are since many centuries great hunters who use eagles to hunt and are very skilled horseriders. Horses and their hunting eagles play a very big part in their lives. That's why you hear so many eagle and horse sounds. Also look at the instruments they use, most op them are decorated with horse heads. And of course the throat singing is worldly renowned.
Do yourself a favor and look at this video, please. In your own time of course, you don't have to react to this. Just enjoy. Close your eyes, put the music loud (but not too loud so you don't hurt yourself LOL) and you'll find yourself midst the Mongolian plains and mountains.
Stay safe, stay healthy and see you the next video.
    Love from Belgium.

The Mongals were once the most feared people on earth. The Chinese had to build a Great wall to keep them out. And the rabbits of course 🤣😂🤣🇦🇺

Salut Andrei!
Apropo. Nightwish canta luni seara la Bucuresti

Can I ask for a request? Could you react to the Norwegian national treasure Sissel Kyrkjebø? Her voice is unbelievable and she is also the voice you heard in the 1997 movie Titanic. Try react to her performing "Climb Every Mountain" from the musical The Sound of Music. (ua-cam.com/video/F901p305DRA/v-deo.html (go to 47:05 in this concert for "Climb Every Mountain")
