Great advice! That's exactly what I've been trying to do ever since I decided to get into this hobby. I'm up to 15 snakes now. 4 males, 11 females. Mostly dbl recessive or higher end gene combination stuff. Still not quite finished with the collecting part of my journey and far from done with the learning phase! I doubt that phase ever ends, lol. Super excited about the future!! Awesome video! Gratz on producing such an amazing clutch!!!

Not alot of people can afford to buy more expensive snakes so what they might be doing is starting on the smaller end to build the funds to buy the more expensive ones
See there's a problem there u said a person that has a normal or close to shouldn't sell or breed well in my eyes they should because people don't always have the money to toss at a 3000 to 15000 dollar snake. So people have to start somewhere unless your gonna start donating some high-end snakes I'd leave the other people alone there not hurting anyone.
I saw these before finding your channel and i fell in love with them. Breeding them together should produce all Lightning Pieds? I have enjoyed your vids so far very much as i am going try my hand at breeding to give me something to do when retirement hits to keep me busy
maybe a bit of clarification but i agree if youre able to produce higher end ball python, you shouldnt produce single/double inc dom. this way people who are dipping their toes into this hobby can breed for pet owners and are able to sell their snake without having so much competition.
Definitely value in double hets. I mention that in this video. It mostly depends on your funds, and what you're able to save up. You may not hit any visuals with double hets though. That's OK for a Kinova pr Ozzy, but it's going to hurt someone starting out
