The german words in jotunheim are written in old-german. They do not read "Die Karte der Butunt", but "Die Karte der Zukunft", which translates to "The map of the future"
They didn't swallow anything, the first one made enough money to guarantee a sequel, it's just that with Gunn being fired from Disney and the pandemic the film is arriving this late
A little detail was when after they crash their prisoner van when Flagg, Bloodsport, and peacemaker do their little lineup. Peacemaker pumps his shotgun to be dramatic but ends up wasting a shell
13:28 Its not „Karte der Butunft.“ Butunft isn‘t even a german word. Reason in german is „Grund“ or „Vernunft“. But it doesnt matter, because the text is different. There is written: „Die Karte der Zukunft“ which means „map of the future“. Greetings from germany.
My friend said something that kinda had me think, after the beach scene it showed all the characters that "messed up" Bloodsport's cleaning, they were all on the losing team. What if bloodsport was aware of the two teams and picked those characters. Savants hair, black guards shoe remnants, and weasel licking the window.
My German educated Indian wife, who has no interest in DC films made me post this comment - At 13:29, it doesn't say 'die Karte der Butunft' but 'die Karte der ZUKUNFT' which means the "map of the future".
The Creative title cards Gunn used here feels like a Continuation of the Title Cards in Suicide Squad 2016 and Birds of prey which are used to introduce characters.

@@NizzoStrizzo what? i literally jut explained to you how... nvm
8:17 almost looks like a reference to the bird killed in the beginning, yellow and white and the blood
three weeks late but in the beginning of the movie when they’re making a joke about Peacemaker being the same as Bloodsport shows that Waller has a different reason for Peacemaker being on the team than versatility.
"I was happy..... floating... staring at the stars...."
Ratcatcher II was adorable in this movie
I loved the sweeping shot of the beach during the opening credits- shows where each one ended up in case you missed them in the fight
13:30 I think it says "Zukunft" which means future. The spelling is in old german letters
My favorite scene is Rick doing a double take when Harley comes up behind him
I wanna see peacemaker vs bloodsport rematch in the near future
14:46 "Bloodsport Aristocats..." I thought that was a reference to Dragon's Lair, the coin op video game.
The german words in jotunheim are written in old-german. They do not read "Die Karte der Butunt", but "Die Karte der Zukunft", which translates to "The map of the future"
With so many deaths in my family this year, this movie is what I needed. And Loki
Nanaue the real mvp
He was a pretty cute character (personality wise) considering he’s a murder shark
He was so oblivious and stupid, I love him
And weasel
Only thing I did not like about this movie was The Thinker. He had zero moments where he showed off his intelligence. In fact, he was almost dumb.
Bradley Cooper did it better, that's fo shizzle.
I'm so glad DB swallowed their pride and gave a Suicide Squad film another shot]. It always had so much potential.
I'm in the minority. I loved this one but the first one. Imo was still fun
They didn't swallow anything, the first one made enough money to guarantee a sequel, it's just that with Gunn being fired from Disney and the pandemic the film is arriving this late
im still upset about flag and captain boom dying, felt like there were ogs that deserved better
Fun fact: Mantis/Pom Klementieff Character in Marvel also appear DC Comics with a codename "Willow"
All King Shark wanted was a FRIEND. It showed me he didn’t want to be a monster, he just wanted to feel alive and noticed by people
I'd like to know how they ever got this boss into a prison?
A little detail was when after they crash their prisoner van when Flagg, Bloodsport, and peacemaker do their little lineup. Peacemaker pumps his shotgun to be dramatic but ends up wasting a shell
"Monster is nom nom" -Bloodsport
"Monster nom nom?" -King Shark
"YES" - Bloodsport
I'm actually in love with rat-catcher 2, Daniela Melchior.
It's called lust, brother.
I so want to see THE SUICIDE SQUAD..
Fingers crossed it becomes on DVD..
Rip Milton!
Who?
I think you mean Bloodsport
Who is Milton?
"Bird"
"Stay of the coms, nanaue"
Regarding the german writings in the tower: It says "Zukunft", not Butunft (not a german word), meaning "future". So it's "The Map of the Future". 🙂
Viel schlimmer ist, dass Google Übersetzer "Butunft" zu " Reason" übersetzt...
@@nvorwerkmusic Mich wundert bei dem Übersetzer nichts. Vernunft, Butunft ... alles dasselbe 😑
This was a huge step up from the last one
Harley Quinn's rotating shooting style reminded me of IG 11 played by Taika Waititi in the Mandalorian
12:57 - There's a bird doing a "snow angel" in the blood 😂
Was that Josh Brolin as the mustache, smoking guard in the scene where they break out to save Hatley?
My German educated Indian wife, who has no interest in DC films made me post this comment -
At 13:29, it doesn't say 'die Karte der Butunft' but 'die Karte der ZUKUNFT' which means the "map of the future".
The Creative title cards Gunn used here feels like a Continuation of the Title Cards in Suicide Squad 2016 and Birds of prey which are used to introduce characters.
The star studded General's last words “I was happy, floating, staring at the stars” ,look at how many stars he has ...plus his government was seen as evil, just like the starfish's rulership and for both to end together, is poetic justice
i was so sad that Flagg died. and Peace Maker was my favorite until the point where he revealed that he was for destroying the evidence to “keep the peace”. they both had good reasons i just couldnt decide who was right. this movie was definitely a 10/10 for me
peace without justice is oppression. You can decided now, yay
Bloodsport petting the rat was him overcoming his fears and not letting his past determine his future
A possible detail you missed is the irony of Starro's defeat. A hive mind creature is defeated by another hive mind.
Before comments: Ik technically the rats aren't a hive mind since they aren't being controlled by another rat, but I thought the detail was notable enough to be mentioned
the blood stain on Peacemakers logo is a nod to him being who Alan Moore based comedian on in watchman, and his iconic blooded stained 😃
I like that scene with king shark and the adorable lil fish killers it reminded me of a scene from the movie Mom and Dad Save the World!
i;ve re-watched this clip now, and, i can say it was a real delight to do it 😊
I loved it. By far the best DC film since the Dark Knight.
I CONCUR
Absolutely agree
It was a good movie. But come on guys Dark Knight great. No.
@@fortelewisandrew2426 no it was great.

wow thats a solid find/connection
good job NewRS
You missed how the final image of Capt. Boomerang was of his arm holding a glowing boomerang like the boomerangs a revived Boomer used in the Brightest Day series.
So hopefully he'll be back.
He got torn apart lol
“I was happiest floating in space staring at the stars”
David Ayer was set to direct the sequel, but did not come back due to creative differences and the disappointing reception of its predecessor. Ayer was still attached to helm the spin-off Gotham City Sirens, but that project eventually developed without him as "Birds of Prey" for which he is still credited as a producer.
That's not only irrelevant, its also not true
Ok and?
@@Daniel-gf5cr I've seen that exact string of text verbatim somewhere else online. I think that may be some sort of comment spam bot.
