There are a LOT of Kpop groups I'm into, a lot of the larger ones, too, and I am positive that THESE GIRLS take the cake when it comes to raw talent. I'm not dismissing any other groups when I say this, but they are hands down the MOST talented group of girls out there, rookie or not.

Hwasa and Wheein were 20, Moonbyul was 23 and Solar was the ripe old age of 24(!) at that time. Yet they performed like veterans with years of experience
This is what I call a "Vegas" show style performance. In past years it was more common to see this level of performance but it slowly faded with the onset of electronic instruments and the style of music changed. These were hard shows to produce mainly because of the lack of talent that could actually do this successfully and the expense of such a large cast . Anything less than overwhelmingly amazing talent would not work with this much production and flashy stage effects. Now here is Mamamoo with more than enough talent to make this work. Folks, this is done live with a live band, horns, etc. If you had never seen such a live show, you certainly missed a great experience. This production is as good as it gets. It has the flash, the band and most of all the talented girls. The only way this works is due to the extreme talent that these girls have. Here is our chance to experience a big show production in modern times. It may be our ONLY chance since I have not seen any other singing groups as talented as Mamamoo.
Totally agree with you - it's still amazing to me that they were able to do this type of performance only a year after they debuted - this style fits in well with Lee Moon-Sae's original - I also love the fact that even though Mamamoo was from a small agency, their talent was recognized by professionals from the very start (look how many live shows they performed on from the very start) - no wonder so many big names made cameos in Mr. Ambiguous mv. I suspect Yu Heeyeol wishes he would have been able to sign them (as many times as they've been on Sketchbook). Sadly I can't think of any American girl group doing the same thing now. If I have one regret, it's that Spica never had the chance to come close to what Mamamoo has become - another great group with amazing vocalists - but it never worked out for them.

I love them so much I just want them to make an appearance on shows like Running Man and Weekly Idol. And just when you think that they can't get any more talented, they're decent in dancing too! Especially Moonbyul and Wheein. The 'worst' (as she herself states) at dancing is Solar but I've just watched her dance and I'm pretty sure she's better at dancing than 55% of idols. (Or more. It seems that after watching these immortal songs performances that these ladies are being held back by being in K-Pop. Their true talent is on full display here and it makes me wonder what can't they sing. This video looks like it came right out of a theater in Broadway in NYC. Their Way to Sampo and Passion Flower performances are absolutely terrific.

Also, in this, I really saw that right from the start, Hwasa's already a very good performer. Even in other Immortal Song performances, she always managed to get your attention in different ways. They were still rookies at that time. But their expression, confidence and presence is like people with ten years of experience. Watching them sing and enjoy the stage make me happy so much!

I'm watching this in November 2019, where they just got three music show wins for HIP (still many chance for another win since the promotion week isn't end yet), their album (reality in black) became #1 on Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, they broke their previous first week sales record, more than 70k on first week, they're getting more popular in Korea and also internationally. They've improved so much now, even Moonbyul sang a high note in their b-side track :"). Seeing this old masterpiece makes me really proud of them, they've worked really hard, always put their heart and soul in every performances and i'm really happy for what they've become now. They still have a long way to go to reach their "peak" and i will continue to support them. I really thank God for letting me know Mamamoo😂😂. Mamamoo really makes me happy!!! I love Mamamooo!!!
I got to know Mamamoo when I watched their performances on this program. Those were the old, sad, and challenging times of my life. But their videos cheered me up in so many ways. Mamamoo has been giving me hope, confidence, and courage since then. I am truly grateful for being a fan of this group of amazing women for so many years already. Moomoo forever! ❤

I am still trying to make sense of Minzy leaving 2ne1 then my 2nd fave group broke up. I am so glad I've been enjoying Mamamoo lately or my heart would not be able to take it. I'm afraid to invest emotions on kpop again but man, with this group being the way they are, I'm taking the plunge again.

I'm watching this in November 2019, where they just got three music show wins for HIP (still many chance for another win since the promotion week isn't end yet), their album (reality in black) became #1 on Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, they broke their previous first week sales record, more than 70k on first week, they're getting more popular in Korea and also internationally. They've improved so much now, even Moonbyul sang a high note in their b-side track :"). Seeing this old masterpiece makes me really proud of them, they've worked really hard, always put their heart and soul in every performances and i'm really happy for what they've become now. They still have a long way to go to reach their "peak" and i will continue to support them. I really thank God for letting me know Mamamoo😂😂. Mamamoo really makes me happy!!! I love Mamamooo!!!

Watching this in 2021 after becoming a moomoo in 2020, I just love their performance. This performance made my day.
I got to know Mamamoo when I watched their performances on this program. Those were the old, sad, and challenging times of my life. But their videos cheered me up in so many ways. Mamamoo has been giving me hope, confidence, and courage since then. I am truly grateful for being a fan of this group of amazing women for so many years already. Moomoo forever! ❤
