I did something similar. I sectioned/narrowed a 1980 Jeep CJ-7 body (front half) and mated it to a 1927 Buick frame (shortened/narrowed). It’s a single seat car. In-line 6 Chevy 250 with a T400 trans.
Very cool! I've been gathering parts to do something similar. A model T cowl, some 46-48 ford passenger car fenders, etc. I will run a straight 6 Ford because I already have an extra one.
WOW!! I would not have thought to use a truck to make a speedster. Just fantastic!! I cannot say enough great things about your artistry!!
Great looking speedster
Really enjoyed this one.
Amazing creativity brother
You Did a Great build from Nothing, Looks neat,s Keep up the Great Builds
Pure Genius --- Wish we could have seen some of the building process.
Check out Macro Machines here on youtube. Young man is building a speedster from the ground up. And I do mean "building", total metal fab etc.

Beautiful
Almost as crude as my rat rod made from a Jeepster and a Jaguar!
