The guanches lived only in Tenerife. In El Hierro, bimbaches; in La Palma, benahoaritas; in La Gomera, gomeros; in Gran Canaria, tamaranes, and in Fuerteventura y Lanzarote, majos.
Wow, every days a school day. Just found your channel after a recommendation from TMF brilliant, I've done a couple of bike tour's but you guy's blow it out of the park.
La Gomera is excellent, in fact I know a hotel on the Island, which is amazing and is on the top of a cliff with great views. However they have a private beach down below, accessible only by private elevator, which, is a door camouflaged in a piece of rock. Total Bond style, that quietly drops to down to an amazing beach complete with a fab restaurant. First class cuisine, beautiful clean sandy beach, but only accessible by the hidden rock elevator and PIN. Only in La Gomera. Great vid mate!
Your videos make me want to drop everything and just take off on a bike for half the year! I live in Andalucía, and you make us want to go explore Canarias. It is much more beautiful than I actually thought
Thanks a lot Freddie and Monika for taking us through La gomera and giving us so many valuable information. That mysterious forest ..it was indeed superb . Waiting for more such stories. Cheers 👍
La Gomera looks a beautiful island. I love how Monika makes and presents her videos. She is so talented. I just love the channel and look forward to each new video. Take care and have fun you two. 👍😀
I get the magic of my islands back when I see them through your eyes. Thank you very much, Freddie and Monika. You'll always be welcomed and loved over here.I would recommend you a trip to La Palma, la Isla Bonita, and watch the currently erupting volcano and El Hierro, very tiny and where the Time Meridian was stablished for the first time.
Hi, a magic place to stay , far from the crowds , this time of the year . You and Monika sell it well . Ride and stay safe , catch you on the next one .
Love the hypothesis that after a few beers in town Columbus would pay Beatriz Bombadia a crafty visit. I'm just loving your Tenerife and La Gomera videos, keep up the good work guy's, the content, editing and production is superb, hats off to you both.
Fantastic video. Loved the island. Will definitively visit it on our next holiday. Great soundtrack on the video too. Really suited the vibe of the island
Great Part 2 and filming as usual by Monika. Interesting to note that Columbus had a thing going for Dona Beatriz Bobadilla. There was a bit of a moment of comedy as you were going up the stairs of the tower and were describing a night on the tiles and returning after a few pints to visit his Bobadilla. Well I suppose there hd to be a bit of light relief before an unknown Atlantic crossing! Hotel absolutely superb. Breakfast superb. I understand the need for superlatives!
Definitely a Fiat 127. So glad you liked La Gomera. It is stunning. Europe's best kept secret, alright. As I said before, we went in 2002. Also earlier that year, we went to Bali and did a couple of days on Lombok. No electricity then. Has it commercialised now? Now to have the rest of my lunch with the image of CC bob bob bobbing along with Bobadeer still in my mind.
Absolutely loved the La Gomera vlogs. The lifestyle, the romance and the history.. top work Monika! Just a thought, we would love to see a compilation of bloopers and out takes for the comedic value 😆 I'm hoping after all the riding that you get around to giving the Bonnie a good clean 😂
La Gomera looks wonderful, and the fact there's bike hire back on Tenerife think this could be a plan for Winter 22/23, thanks for another great video, Freddie and Monica.
Fantastic report and stunning sceneries, wow to everything you showed and told us. Mega thanks! We, my wife and me, are going to La Gomera in one week, our first time there.
Well done Monica all that editing time was well spent as usual. Fantastic places very well presented, great informative entertainment as always. Now go and have a coffee and put your feet up you two.
Brilliant video Freddie, your narration is so good and interesting, but more than that Brilliant Monika, she is a really great cinematographer. She brings your stories to life.👍👍
Fan bloody tastic thank you both so much for your hard work i love your vides they make me so happy to see you two haveing a good time the hotel looked great and the island blown away stay safe and happy
Fiat 127 they were sold as in U.K./IRL. My first car in 1979 was a red 3 door . Red was the best colour for them as you didn’t see the rust as much that way 😂 . Great video again Freddie & Monika. Also the rock at 15:25 I was there on a tour and apparently they’re volcanic plugs, the centre pieces from past eruptions which became exposed as the softer outer layers eroded away.
I see an immaculate 127 in Gomera with rose tinted glasses and wonder where they’ve all gone! But of course this is where- they’ve all disintegrated away!😆
Our second home is Tenerife and did Gomera a few years ago. It's a great place. Can't wait to go back again. Keep up with the vlogs. Love the bike, currently CBF600 for me. 👍
Thank you for Sharing this episode 👌🏻🙂 It's not a secret Place anymore 😀😁 I'll Highly recommend your Channel 👍🏻 Thanks Monica For Editing all of this🙂👌🏻 Greetings from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦🌴 Forgot something..Nice Music 🎶😉
Thank you, you, for letting us discover such a stunning place! You're the new Christopher Columbus o Cristobal como dicen los españoles :) Cheers from Algiers.
Perhaps my favourite video to date! A crisp high five to both of you for the way the channel has evolved this winter. It seems the only thing La Gomera is lacking is the world's best gas stations which blew our minds a few episodes back ;)
Hi Freddie and Monica, I'm not a motor cyclist but a cycleist, who used to be a motor cyclist. I enjoy your videos, but I loved this one that much I just felt I had to comment. Got to go now and watch ManU and Villa match. Happy New year to you both. 😎👍🍺
Definitely a Seat badged Fiat 127. The father of one of my wealthy schoolfriends bought her one as a bribe to stay in her home city for university back in 1978 :-)
Just watched both of your La Gomera vids together….so enjoyable and thanks so much to both of you..definitely on my bucket list..really useful accomm tips too! Ride safe.
Awesome channel. I’ve been following you about 6 or more months. Only stumbled on your channel because it was suggested on UA-cam as I have a Triumph Bonnieville too . You and Monica do a great job on filming and editing and also adding in the gear reviews as well facts about the area for tourists. Beautiful vids lately. Nice music choices too! Love the connection with old cars too! I’m in Canada , so we would never see those type of cars on the roads here as daily drivers, yet I’m in my mid 50,s and I remember many of them as they came on the market. Look forward to your future work! 😎👍👍
Love these videos! The camera you’re using seems to be fantastic - all the details are so clear and crisp. I fell like I’m there with you. What brand/‘model of camera is it? Thanks
Thanks for taking us on holiday with you, a lovely Thursday night treat for us. We got out on the T100 today cold but dry. Keep on posting we will keep on watching.
Been watching your vlogs, most of the U.K. ones and I think all the Canary Island ones and enjoyed every one even though the commentary is not always accurate. As a frequent visitor to the Canaries (25 times in all but not visited El Hierro) I like to see places you visit as we have visited as we always hire a car and explore off the touristy track. Also I have the same interest as you when I come across an old rare or classic car or motorcycle, love your enthusiasm, I have a 1972 Honda CB450 K5 in show condition and yes I do ride it but only in summer. Monika does a great job as well, thanks both.
Interesting couple of days trip to Gomera, lots of interesting things and some superb views. Great editing Monika, keep up the good work, it makes the videos much better and helps makes sense of that random bloke chattering away all the time (apologies Freddy, love ya really). Will definitely have to go there next time we go to Los Gigantes
Great Vlog again Freddie! We were in Los Gigantes when covid hit Tenerife and our trip to La Gomera was cancelled! We very much hope to be back sometime soon and will definitely make the trip to La Gomera. Thanks again. 🌞😎👏👍xx
Cheer's Freddie & Monica, Another very nice video from a stunningly beautiful & historic sight. I could say many thing's, but the number one thing that hit me in this & a few other of your vid's is how classy Monica always dresses. She remind's me of how properly dressed our society used to be 50-60yrs. ago. None of this provocative attire that many(not all) women wear today. I know some people will be offended by my opinion, but @ 70 y.o. I don't care. It is what it is so deal with it. Hat's off to you Monica & thank you!!!! I know this might be an unusual comment, but some thing's need to be said & complimented upon. Your a very lucky man Freddie Dobbs. That said ; I think your great too!!! Have a beautiful day; from the other side of the pond. Illinois,USA
You showed of La gomera brilliantly Freddie and Monika well done, Exploring places by yourselves the way you to have is the best way ,coach tours are ok but you don't really get to appreciate a place like this by cramming it all in a day, And yes it is a Fiat 127 used to see loads in the 80's in the U.K.
Thank you Freddie and Monika for all the hard work you put in compiling these vlogs.Really enjoying them! Much appreciated. One for Monika. If you're looking for backing tracks to go with your videos, may I suggest you take a listen to Matt Large - Autumn in Prague (yes, I realise you're in Tenerife, and it's not autumn), but I think it suits riding on the twisty mountain roads, or evening rides through the towns. See what you think?
Another great video Freddie. When you go back to mainland Spain on the ferry to Huelva. Take a short detour to Monosterio de La Rabida where Columbus stayed before setting sail. Also Close by is Muelle de las Carabelas. Three replica ships he sailed †o America on. Not far from the ferry port.
Such a beautiful place and I think I would prefer there to Tenerife. I am lucky to be old enough to see much of Spain before it was taken over by tourism. I hope they can keep that unspoilt look and retain the islands natural beauty. Thanks both of you for a lovely video.
Great video Freddie love the stop offs and the history lessons and especially like the cars that harsh winters and salt on the road have killed off in the uk these cars look in amazing condition I better start looking in oz before the are all gone to collectors.
Been there too. Amazing. Good to hear it's still mostly German too as it makes a nice contrast from Tenerife. I almost downed on Playa del Ingles. That was exciting :)
love the video as always superb .. The fiat 127 sport was a cool motor ... Freddie always brings the classics to the super channel & monika the stray animals & pet cats / dogs
Great video! If you liked la gomera you should definitely check la Palma as it is being considered the most beautiful canary island... Just wait for the volcano eruption to finish first ;p
Nice one Freddie, the Hood AAA jeans look good. I only ride with AAA, currently either Resurgence or John Doe, which are both good but a lot more expensive. The Hood jeans look great Value at CE AAA 🇬🇧
Hey Freddie, been following for awhile now, love your content. Wanted you to know that i saw an image of you in a catalogue of accessories here in Canada for a local Triumph dealer. Keep up the good work.
Hello again Freddie / Monica. Indeed, that house that you had behind you at the end of the video is the Casa de La Aduana in La Gomera. Too bad you couldn't get into it; since you had seen the well, from where it is said that Columbus supplied himself with water for his long journey. I sincerely think that if you have had in La Gomera, that sensation of a virgin island to tourism. When you visit the island of El Hierro, you will realize that this is truly the most virgin island in this province. Along with La Graciosa (which belongs to the other province and that one has no roads). 😉 Freddie, I see that you are a fan of the history of the Canary Islands, so I recommend you again, that you visit the Museum of Science and Nature of Tenerife, so that you can contemplate authentic Guanche mummies. Keep enjoying the islands.
Thanks for confirming, Ignacio🙂 I was hoping El Hierro may be an even more unspoilt version of La Gomera, so I’m glad you’ve confirmed it- we will visit. Muchos gracias Ignacio!
Hey Freddie, that little buzzy electronic sound at 10:00-10:04 is your cell phone frequencies being picked up by the camera or your mic. I'm guessing it's in your pocket close by. I heard it in another video too. Obviously it's no big deal, but if you've noticed it and you want to stop it, just put the phone in airplane mode when recording. I work with audio equipment and this sound has bitten me many times!
This is just awesome to watch! Really enjoy your vlogs guys😍 For how long you're going to be in Tenerife and would be nice to explain how is life there compared with the Uk?
Interesting video. I am going to stay there for the second time this summer. I don’t know if you realise that the island is not called lagamera, but La Gomera?
yeah, Fiat 127, my uncle had the 3 door with a 1050cc, and what a great raspy exhaust note it had, we had the van version later on, the Fiorino, had a gear shift like stirring porridge
Nice video Freddie, I have the same TCX boots as you,if you clean them and cover them in olive oil,the oil soaks in and replenishes the leather a treat..
Thanks for the informative videos. I’m planning on staying on La Gomera for a few weeks and work from a laptop, did you encounter any issues regarding to Wifi and connections overall?
Said it before, and I'll say it again.... Monika, you have a director's eye and a cinematographer's skill for composition and colour. Freddie, you have apparently unbounded enthusiasm and such a likeable demeanour. Why isn't the Discovery channel begging you both to do a series? BUT... Please clean your bike and lube your chain!!!!!
The guanches lived only in Tenerife. In El Hierro, bimbaches; in La Palma, benahoaritas; in La Gomera, gomeros; in Gran Canaria, tamaranes, and in Fuerteventura y Lanzarote, majos.
Ahhhh thanks so much for sharing this!🙂🙌🏻
I love seeing you and Monika on these amazing adventures. Exploring places like this is life, everything else is just waiting.
Thanks Freddie, very informative conclusion to part 2
Monica your editing/additions to these blogs truly elevate the viewing experience
Wow, every days a school day.

La Gomera looks wonderful, and the fact there's bike hire back on Tenerife think this could be a plan for Winter 22/23, thanks for another great video, Freddie and Monica.
Tomorrow I should be filming a video about a Tenerife Triumph hire company after having a very fun ride out with them earlier in the week🙂
Fantastic report and stunning sceneries, wow to everything you showed and told us. Mega thanks! We, my wife and me, are going to La Gomera in one week, our first time there.

Fantastic video Freddie! You'd make a brilliant TV presenter on a travel show.
Again a great video of Monika and Freddie, thank You very much. La Gomera is my favourite of the Canaries. Best wishes from Germany.
Thanks Rolf, delighted you enjoyed it!🙂
Beautiful Island. Thank you Freddie and Monica.
Thanks for taking us on holiday with you, a lovely Thursday night treat for us.
We got out on the T100 today cold but dry.
Keep on posting we will keep on watching.
Glad you enjoyed it Shane! And very glad you got the T100 out during a dry spell☀️🏍🤘🏻

We have been to La Gomera . explored most of it and it really is a magical beautiful island. La Palma is also well worth a visit sometime
Magic video man! Wow! Views to die for! Thanx for sharing!
Great Vlog again Freddie! We were in Los Gigantes when covid hit Tenerife and our trip to La Gomera was cancelled! We very much hope to be back sometime soon and will definitely make the trip to La Gomera. Thanks again. 🌞😎👏👍xx
Thanks Roger! Ahhhh such a shame- I’ve been hearing a few people’s holidays are getting cancelled for this Christmas now too.
I love that balcony 😍😍😍 so beautiful!!!
New to ur vids, but let say love them and the way you explain, the details :) Great. And let me say Monica is ur life saver :) Keep it up

Delighted you enjoyed it!🙂

Really appreciate it, thanks very much! I really love the 127s- so so rare to see them now
Thank you Freddie and Monika for all the hard work you put in compiling these vlogs.Really enjoying them!
Thanks so much- I’ve passed this in to Monika🙂
Great second video , thank you Freddie and Monica
Beautiful, great vlog. great editing Monika.
That island is on my to do list.
think it is the Fiat127.
Sorry butting in Paul but have ‘nicked’ that info for our planned tour in May next year
Fantastic- saved! Thanks Paul!🙂
Excellent 👏👏👏

Thanks Dale, and completely agree- so rare to see bits of Spain like this that aren’t big tourist destinations
I love every video you have done. Thanks!
Great teamwork. Thanks for sharing
Great video Freddie love the stop offs and the history lessons and especially like the cars that harsh winters and salt on the road have killed off in the uk these cars look in amazing condition I better start looking in oz before the are all gone to collectors.
Excellent videos !you owned an subscriber❤
Been there too. Amazing. Good to hear it's still mostly German too as it makes a nice contrast from Tenerife. I almost downed on Playa del Ingles. That was exciting :)
love the video as always superb .. The fiat 127 sport was a cool motor ... Freddie always brings the classics to the super channel & monika the stray animals & pet cats / dogs
Thank you Mark- and Monika’s happy to see this too!😆🐈
Great video! If you liked la gomera you should definitely check la Palma as it is being considered the most beautiful canary island... Just wait for the volcano eruption to finish first ;p
Another great video
Great content, as always. Why don’t you also go to El Hierro? I think you both are going to love it too, such a great escape.
top class filming ;;
Nice one Freddie, the Hood AAA jeans look good. I only ride with AAA, currently either Resurgence or John Doe, which are both good but a lot more expensive. The Hood jeans look great Value at CE AAA 🇬🇧
Great video, thank you very much!
Just tantalizing, these islands are.
Really enjoyed this, thanks
Hey Freddie, been following for awhile now, love your content. Wanted you to know that i saw an image of you in a catalogue of accessories here in Canada for a local Triumph dealer. Keep up the good work.
No way- I’m delighted to hear that! Thanks for letting me know, David!
And hello over in Canada🙂🇨🇦👋🏻
I enjoyed your Lady Bobadilla stories 😍😂
On the espresso now! Hard core
Hello again Freddie / Monica.
Indeed, that house that you had behind you at the end of the video is the Casa de La Aduana in La Gomera. Too bad you couldn't get into it; since you had seen the well, from where it is said that Columbus supplied himself with water for his long journey.

Keep enjoying the islands.
Thanks for confirming, Ignacio🙂
I was hoping El Hierro may be an even more unspoilt version of La Gomera, so I’m glad you’ve confirmed it- we will visit.
Muchos gracias Ignacio!
thank you very much!
Great video and a brilliant advert for La Gomera, makes me think we should try this island next time rather than La Palma…..which I love👍
Thanks db! We need to try La Palma too- i really hope we can visit by Spring🙂
Hey Freddie, that little buzzy electronic sound at 10:00-10:04 is your cell phone frequencies being picked up by the camera or your mic. I'm guessing it's in your pocket close by.
You’ve blown my mind Mick- I’m trying this tonight!😀
Love La Gomera. Why am I not living there full time?!
Yep Fiat 127 1050cc approx 50hp ohv lovely little car but in uk rust bucket. I had a sport which was 70hp and “seemed” fast😂. Fascinating report
Very beautiful and that would be a seat as fiat was tied in with seat in the early years it seems you get all the climate s there great stuff
