- Volcanic peaks, deep ravines and ancient laurel forests: this is the other side of the Canary Islands. From the "Forest House" we explore the hiking trails of the north of the island before taking in the history and gastronomy of San Sebastián, Hermigua, Santa Catalina and Agulo.

It is a marvellous place, and an incredibly underrated place! I want to come and visit this stunning island!
As I have lived in La Gomera for almost 24 years, this is by far the best video that gives the feeling of being in La Gomera, and I am sure you will come back to it soon, because if you fall in love with the island, it is impossible to leave this beauty vs Atlantis . It happened to me 24 years ago and I only returned to France once.
Thank you so much. Yes, it is a special place.
Excelente reportaje. Con informaciones históricas valiosas, mezcladas con datos medio-ambientales y turísticos interesantes. Bravo Faial, por conservar la herencia de tus ancestros en tus proyectos habitacionales... Un abrazo desde Panamá.
Really lovely what you've made here on La Gomera, great camera work and commentary on the island by the presenter... All in all 10 out of 10. Fantastic and no awful music that so many insist on putting on.
Thanks Steven. Really appreciate the feedback!
Visited the island on a day trip from Tenerife and loved the scenery with lush forests and mountains. Very interesting video to see places in more depth. Well done!
Thank you! Yes, it's a special place.
Looks like such a beautiful place to visit! I love the idea of hiking to your accommodations :)
Nice video and beautiful place! Hope to visit La Gomera sometime in the future!
Love it, great production value 😍 La Gomera is such a beautiful place, nicely documented. Thanks!
Thank you for the feedback!
Very good 🙏🏻
This is brilliant mate, love it.
Thank you!
Nice work
Fantastic video !!
Thank you 👍
So reminds me of Madeira
The man in this video could easily be from the moroccan mainland . Shows his Gaunche DNA
The indigenous from La Gomera were BIMBACHES, Guanches were the ones in Tenerife.
No bimbaches are from el Hierro
The indigenous people were gomeras and gomeros or gomeritas.
Thank you for this 👏👏!! Get to the top fast = P-R-O-M-O-S-M .
Naaaah...don´t go there, ugly Island full of boring hills and stony beaches, delicious food is way to cheap to be good, always foggy on top inside the woods and the locals drive dangerously crazy. I would not recommend it!
*caugh caugh* nevertheless...great video with awesome views, great information and a very likable presenter/presentation! Thumbs up!
But still...don´t-I repeat-don´t go there if you like beaches, clubbing, parties, instagram photo locations and cool roads/spots you can pose and drive with your rented supercar!
Nice try to keep superficial people from this remarkably pristine island.
