There´s a hint in the lore of the bell that tells you about the symbols but I read it until I watched your video, never occurred to me that I had to read the lore of a prayer to find out what I had to do 😆
After getting the first symbol and walking back in the penitents coffin room, I saw the pettable one but he vanished when I got close. The 3rd symbol at the 4th visage's tree. If you stand there long enough listening to Deogracias, you get an achievement.
In the room where you get the spell if you do a dash+down you slide into a room with two symbols in two altars, a sword stabbing an H and a cup. Does anyone know what to do there?
I found the one behind the mirror by accident didn't know what it was for and was like huh, that's neat. My goal was the break every mirror cause I thought it would do something lol
I don't get it, on my switch version none of these work, I also don't have achievements? Whats going on, this wasn't the case with the first game on the switch...
Can anyone tell me the place names were all the symbols are. I'm having trouble finding them but don't want to just be told where they are. So i'm hoping someone would be willing to point out what areas they are in so i don't waste time searching an area that doesn't even have what i'm searching for.
How in the hell would anyone know how to find these ?? This is impossible to find without some kind of guide. Like the developers have to tell someone that these even exist
I don't know if you know this but soulslikes don't normally hold your hand the whole time and tell you where to go it's usually you find by reading the item description or just finding it and there is nothing wrong with using a guide. These are just my opinions though
@@Thtgamerguy This is first and foremost a metroidvania, soulslike is secondary. Metroidvanias are made to be 100%, soulslikes are not. This puzzle is an absolute pain in the ass which the answer got extracted from the game files. If that weren't the case we'd be locked out of: a spell upgrade, a bunch of tears and an achievement.
They are hard to see but that's by choice. The whole point of these things are for people who are genuinely curious and want to find every little thing on their own. Not "Oh, I have mild ocd so I'm going to use a guide to do it mechanically". Explore and have some patience ffs!
It's a video game, these things happen from time to time. No need to worry. Just restart it and try again and you'll be having fun in no time young man!

If you go back to the room where you found the Bell prayer after finding all the symbols, there's a cup that gives you 69100 tears.

Finding all hidden symbols also upgrades the "Chime of the Twisted One" prayer chant to deal alot more damage and hit enemies three times.

try to go back in the tomb of the penitent (beggining of the game), and do the bell prayer again, it worked for me

you need the man who takes the blame off you to take it off a few times like 15 and then you get the red cherub
