I keep coming back to this one, it's one of my favorites! I appreciate your videos very much, they help me tremendously when doing my daily elliptical machine workouts.
Great video, thank u👏 What's the infamous rain situation in the Bergen area, though? Is it true it rains almost all the time? When it rains, is it usually constant light rain or maybe eg. showers of heavy rain? Sorry, I'm just very interested in this🙃 All the best 🤜🤛
Hi! You're right that it rains a lot on the west coast of Norway. For the most part it's constant light rain, not so much showers and heavy rain. But it also is a bit windy at times (not the perfect combo for a morning Run). But that said, it's also the most beautiful part of Norway (if you ask me) when it's not raining. Nothing beats a sunny day, hiking around in the mountains, with the stunning views of the fjords! Or taking a stroll in the cozy streets of Bergen 😊 Thanks!
@VirtualRunTV OK, I'm totally sold then, coming😀 (I can easily imagine that from your description, one day I'm gonna be trail-running there, lots of it🤞🤞🤞 Many thanks, take care🙂
Bergen has been one of the top destinations on my travel wish list since forever but somehow, I haven't been able to make this happen, yet!. I think it's a city with a lot of charm, a great atmosphere and many places to explore.. I really enjoyed the virtual visit of Fløyen ... just spectacular. I have made a mental note for a future trip :D
Well, you out did yourself with this one. This would be a great place for some sadistic person to take Granny up in her wheel chair...and just let go. 50+ grades? Seriously? Bergen's funicular makes our's in Edmonton look like a child's toy in comparison. It is small and enclosed in glass with windows that do not open. Due to our recent heat wave, it is closed due to the fear that passengers would emerge on the other end looking more like a boiling pot of brown baked beans. We are keeping our runs down to 30 minutes this week. It is currently 33 degrees, with over a week of temps over 30, and there is even a forecast for one of those days hitting 40. In 140 years, it has never even hit 38 here. Tuesday is not a run day, so I will finish this video then...inside...in front of a fan. I will have to check m son to see if a cold beer might be in the offing for his poor father.
It would probably be a fun way for Granny to end his days though 😅 I believe the 50+ grades was a bit off. I'd like to believe it actually was 50, to boost my confidence, but probably not. I'd love to see the Edmonton funicular picture you drew in my head 😅 This week the temperature is around 20-23 degrees here, but on saturday it's going to be 28. And on this day I'm going to participate on a half marathon 😨 So, if the videos stops coming, you'll know why..
@@VirtualRunTV - Indoor day and down to the final 15 minutes of this video. What a great payoff at the top with the pond circled by picnic sites. I could not help but notice one could get there...via funicular. Mmmmm. The present temp is 35...and the same for tomorrow when we go out for what will be a 30 minute adventure. The heat sure makes the legs go heavy. Have a great race!

Il faut des sacrés bons mollets pour habiter dans cette ville !!! :) j'avais mal aux jambes juste en regardant ! :)
BRAVO !
Merci! Mes jambes sont encore engourdies
Beautiful Bergen!! I will definitely be doing that run as soon as I can get over there…! Thank you Erik
It's a beautiful and charming city. You should pay it a visit If you have the chance 😊👍
@@VirtualRunTV before Covid I went every year, (wool festival) hopefully next year!
Aah! So you know Bergen, nice! Then you should take the trip to Fløyen on your next trip! 😊

I agree, Bergen is the most charming city in Norway in my opinion. Keep it on your list, and I hope you'll get the chance to come some day 😊
Good 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Vert! 👊👊👊
Thanks! 💪
Good grief! You Norse must have legs of steel! Impressive run!
Hehe, thanks James! We (on the west coast of Norway) have no choice. It's a few hills no matter where we run 😅
What programs do you use for the statistics of speed, distance, etc ... and what is your camera? thanks
Hi, it's the Virb Edit software I use for the metrics. I use a GoPro 8 camera
Sorry Erik, You lost me at the first bend😱😵. John UK
John, the first 3 minutes are bends, but from there on it's more straight. Sorry, but that's how the way to the top is
