I realized you cannot weld PP to PE. So I am changing my project to using all PE or HDPE products. Is there any tips in particular to be aware of when welding PE to PE as compared to Welding PP to PP? Any suggestions? Thank you
Hi every body, I have a very important question. Can this welding method resist in 90 C temperature? To brief, I have to weld thin Polypropylene and PTFE foils together to fabricate a setup (membrane distillation module) and high temperature water (90 C) would be passed in this setup. How can I weld them to not to be separated in 90 C? Regards
Thanks for the video .Can you tel me if the heath gun you are using blowing hot air continuously .I just bought heath gun look very similar to one you are using but it keep cutting on- of all time couple second on couple second of ,is this normal or should it blow evenly thanks in advance Mike
good presentation. i can't help noticing that your welder is absolutely identical to my Leister triarc right down to the tips and off course colour. Are u associated with them. I don't bother with the speed tips to be honest instead i pendulum weld everything with excellent results. By pendulum i mean the same as you do in the second weld. Cheers
Could I ask you? Where is the limit with speed and high temperature? If I want to weld faster I have to rise up the temperature but i guess I can't do that forever. I have Leister triac AT so I can also change speed of the air (50 - 100%). And my second question is what about front angle of the speed noozle? What it can impact? Thank you!
it should not exceed 350 degrees, do not raise the temperature and the blow out is enough. We don't understand the second question. Do you have quick welding nozzles?
When you weld, do you melt the surface as well as the rod? Or do you just melt the rod? I cannot get a strong weld if I don't melt the surface so I might be doing it wrong.

Hi ! Yes. Do not exceed 320 degrees :)
Thanks for the great video!
thanks !
What is the appropriate temperature for welding work?
it mainly depends on the material you are working with. Write the specific type and we will indicate the temperature.
Does this work with ITW Formex fireproof Polypropylene?
Do you mean self-extinguishing PPs?
What is the type of this PP? PP-H?
Polypropylene, Homopolymer - has higher chemical resistance.

You have an ultrasonic method. It is not possible to weld PTFE with polypropylene.

We don't know what you purchased, but this device has a continuous blowout. In addition, it is suitable for continuous operation, even outdoors.
Can you tell me set temperature
About 300 C
How strong are the welds? Can you make a video of you trying to break it?
The weld is really durable, you have to trust us, or visit the Polish UA-cam channel and check out other videos

Thanks, my Welder is BOSITE-D. its very similar to Leister.
Good video.Do you use PP welding rod to weld ?
Yes we are producer of this type of plastic and many more.

@@Ataszekinternational Yea sorry. Quick welding nozzle. Same like you at 11:00
Nice video!.

Thanks for the information
No problem for us :)

We melt both surface.
@@Ataszekinternational thank you. :)
Unfortunately that would not be water tight
Watch at 1.5x speed
2x is good
$20 soldering gun can do the same thing.
The question is different. How long will this soldering iron work? The second thing: a soldering iron is not a plastic welder.

Hola, será muy difícil, pero siempre puedes traducir los subtítulos en inglés al español.
