Rushing in to help downed teammates is a bad habit I've developed over time, and unfortunately it became a problem because of how quickly people tend to dc when solo-queueing in pubs. I grew accustomed to the ticking clock of how long teammates were willing to wait to be rev'd, and the result was instinctively bolting to their position in hopes of getting to them before they rage-quit. Just another sore point of solo-queueing.
Felt bro. So many of my deaths came from trying to be captain America or somebody just for the f****r to leave usually after I was already too close. It’s wild how you can pay for being a team player in this game 🤣
This one truly helps. It feels terrible to play solo, especially if you know you can’t 1v2/1v3 consistently, but it’s always better to finish this fight, even if you lose the next

"shoot the one running in the most likely direction..." well you can use that against players as well. i ulted as mirage once and kept running into a wall next to 2 enemies which probably thought something like "this one is surely a fake" as they started firing at clones i turned around and got em both. fun moment ;)
1. All legends move the same speed, Different legends have different foot step sounds 2. generally 2 med kit 4 syringe 8-12 cells 2-4 batt 3. Knowing where to drop where there'd most likely have loot and knowing how to contest another team dropping in the same area. Free look around to spot other squads. 4. Know what legends abilities do so you know how to deal with them 5. Look for blue flickering when mirage ults. That's the real one or look for the one moving in the most probable direction it'd move 6. rewatch your own pov and assess your mistakes 7. do not rush to save your teammate. assess the situation before going for it 8. Map awareness and positioning. knowing where you've been, the ring, etc. 9. Gold helm gives 25% cd reduc on abilities and knowing who'd have the move value out of it in your squad. 10. prevent deadslides by ensuring you have the right amount of momentum if you're holding a gun 11. ammo is held in even numbers approx 240-300 12. healing items are held in even numbers in stacks of 2 for medkit/batt or 4 syringe/cells 13. Know how to slide jump crouch strafe properly then learn how to wall jump and zip line techs 14. Have the right settings and keybinds (max fov for one)
You forgot the best tip, " Use the charge rifle as many matches as possible". Also, knowing your mistakes isn't enough. I've watched my gameplay and know what I did wrong, but I don't usually remember to not repeat it.

Best tip, pick wraith, queue trios with fill, if you're not jump master ping a spot and launch there solo and when you die after a few seconds leave and abandon your team mates.
good tips, sadly number 3 tip past season and this one became most important to me, 95% of randoms cant break up from formations and going to loot same path as your when you jumpmaster, i got really tired of this and now i very rarely stay at jumpmaster. also with new ring changes i go for 4 medkits now, even if i dont need this much, most likely my teamates going to be need it randoms or premade doesnt matter

Took me a month to get used to changing bats to cells vice versus and all the different ammo types. May I also say I called the devotion the devolution for the entirety of season 2! I also thought that just holding an ultimate accelerant in your bag would just speed up the ult cool down 😂 finding all this stuff out in season three made me feel like such a noob. 😂
11:16 ping opacity needs to be changed so when you ADS your pings dont fill your screen very helpful when teamates ping an enemy right in front of you while knocked, allowing you to see him not the ping.
The one that always gets me is when a team mate name is directly behind the enemy. Suddenly I'm being shot by my team mate. Basically dead before I realise whats actually happening.

Glad you mentioned DPI, it's definitely something people are still missing on, they ask other players about their sensitivity, but most don't mention what DPI they are on, wich is a huge factor even if its slightly different...
Another VERY important setting change is getting thrown out of loot boxes and crafter when getting damaged. You literally can't loot when you're in zone and it's still activated which could kill you
I think the biggest tip I would give is to turn on auto-sprint and then put slides to L3 or left joystick now you can do stuff like hipfire and crouch without bending your finger 360 degrees to press Circe or B (Fair warning this does change Zooming in to Circle/B)
3:52 doesnt work if they use a white or blue skin. unsure if its a bug or intended. The higher grade skins make his arms visible during the animation. IF you were using a white/blue quality skin you would be completely invisible unless you take damage during the animation.
for the “dead slide” section. you can actually instant slide by holstering your weapon which negates the need for the three steps. also if your holstered already you can instant slide with your gun out. from holster position your hit triangle first then immediately slide. the latency will allow the two animations to happen at the same time
when a teammate goes down i feel so much pressure because they keep pinging the enemy and are like "He's one shot" like okay so am I lol. I cant even heal in peace
As a mirage main this is perfect keep listening to these tips because me personally I become the decoy and it works 7-10 just do the opposite of what you think they think you’ll do and “you just got bamboozled”

I'm a pretty new apex player, but what i noticed that later on in the game it's best to only carry med kits and shield batteries. carrying shield cells will use up a lot of space and it takes forever to restore to full armor.
@@MangosInTreesit'd take 4 shield cells, which is an entire slot, to fully restore your level 4 (purple armor). 1 Shield battery fully restores it. and 2 batteries make up one slot

Rev, Ash, Path, and Octane have basically the same base sound to their footsteps, octanes are quicker step, path has the longest pause between steps do to his stride, revs are the quietest, ash footsteps sound “sharper?” Somehow 🤷🏾♂️
My tip is don't leave the momenyt you get knocked down or become a death box. Another tip is don't be afraid to loot teammates death boxes if you need that evo swap

Actually, heros do move at different speeds. Smaller legends need to move the same distance as bigger ones, so they have to be faster to keep up. You can see it in the walk cycles.

Just the way that I play but I prioritize teammates over most other things. I HATE when teammates ignore when I'm downed to loot or run away. Teams are your best chance at survival. Dropping on the other side of the map dooms both you and us
I am always frustrated about #8 and how many people have no sense for space and strategy at all and usually they are the most arrogant ones, yelling like brats, trying to "lead" teammates in the middle of a fight of 2-3 other squads, like between them. Hey, I am a female (you know that sex supposedly not so good at orienting in space) but you know what, when they follow me, we win in 75% of matches.
Name area drops are good but what I discovered was sometimes the no-name low areas are a better option if you plan on actually raising ranks. Sure if you are confident in winning a 1-1 getting 5000+ damage and 16 kills, then sure, go for it but I’m assuming most people aren’t that. Yeah it might be boring but being safe and knowing when to bail and just sit back is the only way to actually raise your rank in a reasonable predictable way.
I can't understand the lack of careful backpack storage. Do ppl just pick up things and not check what they have? Carrying an incomplete set of ammo would just annoy me lol but this is sp key because u can easily run out off ammo or heals when u need it the most. Great tips 👌
You should always have at least 1 nade especially w blue backpack +, a time where enemies try to res will come and having a nade can make the difference
i played so many games where my teammates landed on a shitty place so i never had anything barely any amo and no shields or heal and they grab everything first and i play my game with nothing
3:43 this is important when fighting against a mirage that is better than you, I ended up kicking the right mirage trying to hit me we were both one hit.
8 cell, 4+ batts, 4 syringes, nades take up whatever space my ammo doesn’t. You’ll know about how much ammo will last you the whole game after you play for awhile.
Love the last one. Though ironically I play with ALC settings but it’s because I used to play Gears so I want that higher turn speed, but I’ve kinda hybridized a few people I’ve watched and it’s helped out a ton I run 400/400 pitch and yaw and then next section is 160/160 250/250. I tried going back to linear or classic and it just felt so clunky and awful to track people that were coming at me.
Best tip for me would be to get a new controller cuz I’ve been rockin’ the same knockoff ps4 controller with bare to no ability of slight input. I gotta like rock the deadzone so high but it’s still so finicky
Really great tips. Any recommendations when playing it on a laptop screen. I have observed that my performance is much better on a monitor vs a laptop screen, I have an FOV of 110 on the monitor but have to keep it 90 on my Laptop otherwise it becomes very had to see anything on the small screen.

Nah. I always carry 4 syringes and 4 shield cells. That's it. Those are easy to get after a kill. 2 batts added if I'm at the end of a game and two meds too. I try carry light meds and ammo because I'm a fragger lol. I'm always nading people
My tip is don't take a "break" after season 2 only to return in season 12

what helped me improve a lot was lowering my sensitivity and fixing my posture.

Having toggles is pretty helpful also knowing that their anti cheat is one of the worst out there

Nah. I always carry 4 syringes and 4 shield cells. That's it. Those are easy to get after a kill. 2 batts added if I'm at the end of a game and two meds too. I try carry light meds and ammo because I'm a fragger lol. I'm always nading people
Only carry 2 med kits 6 batteries and 4 cells just to top off my shield if I only get hit for like 10 damage or something
I play all the Battle Royales and this one is the worst for me. I usually die before I even spot the enemy. XD
I love the new backpack update three bats in each slot is so good so u can carry like 6-9 bats cells mekit and a few syringes
