another big tip we all can work on, is remaining cool during fights. It gets intense sometimes and it's important to regulate breathing and this directly helps with game sense because you'll be more focused. Don't smother your mic breathing but definitely get into controlling your body because after all, you are the controller.

One thing I took from this is stay with your teammates. I play support, controller and I try my best to stay with my teammates but they usually make a bone head push and die then blame me when I didn’t follow them. But I blame myself bcuz I don’t use my mic and communicate to them
Same, and it's not that I don't like to talk to other people, I'm just so focus that I find it more efficient to use the ping wheel for snappy response as opposed to try to explain it and risk what's going on. Plus last thing I would want to do is to be on their level and point the blame on them even if it were true, a wise man once said it's easy to forget what's considered a sin on the battlefield.
Don't worry about that, if it truly is a bone head push. You shouldn't follow randoms to their death because you need to feel like a "good teammate". Stay yourself. And follow your better judgement always. Worst comes to worst, you rat the rest of the way.
But sometimes you'll be forced to fight. And at those times, just go balls deep too. But smartly, take a wide angle, give cover fire, land your shots and get a knock or crack. And off of damage and cracks from you or your team, then you commit. If it's going bad, you have the wider angle and can escape.
Also confidence is key. Your movement, confidence in your approach, and landing good shots will quickly deteriorate the confidence of a team that isn't sure of themselves or a team that's has less teamwork. Also, just use in game text chat and use abbreviations to make quick call outs. Also, be confident and ping where you think your team should go. If your team is pinging a fight and bustin shots and ya gotta rotate bcuz zone or bad positioning. Ping, say regroup here, defend here etc and start moving. MOST of the time your teammates will notice that's the better idea ESPECIALLY when they see if they push it's a 2v3 because 1 member isn't down with it. Resulting in you guys actually rotating as a team, yall living longer, getting better placement, and now that dumb push. That team will now come to y'all while ya more ready to fight, can even gatekeep.
But yea. Be a boss bro. Tell them where to go, once you IGL a play and it goes good. Teammates are more willing to listen even if their randoms.

I need to get better at worrying about my own LP and I also need to invest in a keyboard so I can message my teammates better (I’m on ps4) I’m a rampart main and I like to play aggressive and passive I just need to continue to work on my confidence. The biggest thing that I’ve noticed that literally cannot be taught, it can only be practiced, people can’t hit their shots. I’ll be playing with randoms who have great game sense but when it comes time to fight they’re not even cracking shields before they go down. Can’t count how many times that’s happened.

My random teammates hit their shots but have terrible game sense. They 3rd party by positioning themselves between the fighting teams.
I love this kind of video! Game sense is one of the hardest things to learn and seeing examples like this really helps!

This is good advice and all, but most of this is advice for folks who have a teammates they’ve been playing with for a while. Doesn’t really apply to the “lone wolf” or “solo” player that plays pugs. I’d like a video on how to pug groups.

Him mentioning not being able to place LL's care package on the roof near Bonsai made me remember a game. If anyone is playing Wattson, apparently you can't place her fences on the walls at Artillery. I do find it a bit strange because now there are ziplines that can help teams reach that area.
hi, i have a question about the first clip. if the situation were reversed and you were the team on low ground, and you knock one player from the team on high ground, whats the best course of action to take as the team on low ground?
I’m real late and not mango but it really depends, you prob wanna get into the circle, but if you knocked someone and haven’t received much damage you could push, but it was a big open field, so your best bet it to keep applying pressure while backing into the circle then hold them up out of the circle and keep them in the circle
now in season 18, i find it hard to assess if i'm fighting someone way above my paygrade or someone at my skill level, on top of cheating becoming big again.
sometimes i just get beamed by 1 person after peaking once, meanwhile they got a masters badge, but after season 17, so many people got a masters badge that i have no clue if i got beamed by a cheater or someone who is legit a master, honestly this season is a mix bag (season 18, 17 was a mess with how easy LP came)
i've had lobbies where i just steamroll over my enemies like it's nothing, while other lobbies i get steam rolled by the most accurate players in the game.
but i think 1 thing i gotta improve on is my patience, i generally position myself favorably if possible, but then i get impatient and try to finish off my kill or secure more knocks, which then leads the enemy to team fire my ass.

Something I notice with my random teammates is they ALWAYS try to force a fight, they end up completely leaving our leverage position and putting us at a complete disadvantage, then getting upset that I didn’t 1v3 a team of preds/masters when they die
How to get to masters here’s my tip have a guarantee support legend on your team if you solo queue that’s fine and with it sometimes randoms are unpredictable on how they play so to have a support legend what I’d do is stay outside of ring farm materials and med kits until before 3rd closing because there’s no way you’ll make it out to avoid fights and WHO search for players within outside circle everyone is thirsty until 10 squads remaing then push with teammates and or if they’d get picked off go to replicator to respawn banners… I’ve gotten to solo queue on a alt from bronze to plat 2 in almost a couple days 🤣🤣🤣💯 plus pop a med kit before your first shield Ivón to guarantee getting your full health back… play smart Tis this season 17 a rat season so…. Adapt

All this only works though if the enemies are playing smart. If they're playing dumb they'll just catch you off guard with every little thing they do.
You have some amazing tips! I'll give you that. But to be honest bud, you're using a cronus with either soft aim bot or you're using full on AimBot. Watch at 6:15-6:19 he tracks him thtough the plants on the edge of the roof perfectly. Your smart though and realize after 3 shots 3 hits no line of sight all in about 3 seconds I better unzoom. Im lookin suss a average gamer would of missed it. Little kids watching looking up to you like i wanna play like him.... Your 99 has zero recoil not a ioda of rise. Your scripting somehow someway.
Which chapter explains the zero recoil on your r99 with no recoil smoothing. Nice "trick". It's easy to focus on other things when computers do the aiming for you... what a joke.

My best tip for any controller player is don’t even try to be a movement player. Everyone goes through a time where they try to play movement. As controller your best weapon is your close-mid range. Focus on your aim
Dude you wouldn't belive how hard it is to get people to accept the team mentality, everyone is just running all over the place and dying in the first minute of the game.

I wish this game were like this when I play it. I get one shotted no matter what color armor I have and players just jump in front of me and it kills me. I wish I could get a match as easy as the one in this video where your shields last through a fight. Im tired of waiting so long to get into a match only to get killed with one hit, and most of the time I never even see a player that is supposed to have shot me.

The biggest tip anyone can say about apex is use your mic!!! You can’t just ping all the time. It doesn’t give us all the info we need
Great video. Basically play the best position possible and access around you. Keep your cool and don't W key just because you got a knock, especially when you're unaware of everything around you. Don't know how many times people get horny over one knock and end up in crossfire, therefore dying.
edit: also keep in mind if you're planning to rush a dropship because you know the team is at a disadvantage, you're not the only one with that idea and there's a good chance you'll get in a fight with another 3rd or even 4th party doing so
I have a serious question, how are you not getting jittered by ring damage? On console I get jittered so bad I can't even aim while in gas.
I do get aim punch as I call it in zone. Same thing you're describing. Sometimes it feels worse than others tho
My problem is over peaking and taking a lot of damage , or playing with friends when they scream push push , one shot one shot

While warming up in firing range I have your videos up in the background. Tip videos, weapon metas, all the way to legend specific videos all help even if they’re an older upload. Really makes a difference in my game sense and overall gameplay.

In the last fight, you got shot from a little ways away. You had time to bat and take down an enemy before you were pushed. In higher lobbies, there isnt time to take down an enemy, let alone get a bat off before the whole team apes you.

practice recoil control on roller and utilize recoil smoothing medium to close range.
Playoff Rondo was goated
I know it always has a big part to do with my own skills, but I just get turned off by ranked all the time. I played a lot of it in like the last month of season 12 when I started. I sucked back then but typically had higher placements despite my extremely low amount of kills . My experience never really got much better, and every game that I actually popped off a bit was never a ranked match. Unless I finally get a full group (I admit I haven't really tried), it may be time to give up trying ranked. I always appreciate the tips, though, and it's not like they're only useful for ranked (higher placement is always more XP)

one thing i saw that was and is still constantly annoying..people playing ranked matches make a stupid push that has 100% of getting them killed as if they're only purpose was to expose my location or deal some damage so the other team(the one they should be focuing) or the ring can 3rd party. that's the only thing that gets me heated.
That's the worst. Dying because 1 team does an insanely stupid push. And the third party just comes to clean up for free
