CR Kai Emotions are my second favorite wheel of all time. Bought a set for my Evo 9. Sold that car like 3 years ago, still have the wheels.

This video and a couple others over the last week have been burning in my brain, so today I hit autotrader and found a beautiful 2008 ix MR. 36,245 original miles. 100%, dealer maintained, garage kept, owned by a guy in his 50s.
Poor bastard had his foot amputated and didn't even want to look at it now that he can't drive manual.
He wanted to much, but jumped fast as shit to 20k cash in his hand.

This is nice, I mean we could talk wheels all day and not even get tired which is why I am probably gonna watch all your vids. Not gonna lie but UA-cam probably just started promoting this vid seeing all the recent comments and seeing how I got here. Might be a bit late to say this but don't bow to the comment section people live to spit hate and criticize you because they are lacking as an individual. Just rehearse your lines or get a bigger board to put your script so it's easily readable.

Fitment Industries Screw my advice you guys definitely have things handled, love the memes, editing and from a car enthusiast point of view this is heaven. Actually your videos just started appearing in my recommended. Who knows how youtube's algorithm works these days, but yeah one glance and I just knew that this was something I wanted to watch. A lot of other channels seem to be appearing in the spotlight too, whether or not a channel will be propelled forward definitely depends on the work and content they have to offer but just keep it up. Those thumbnails totally drew me in however, they are definitely a work of art. Much love

Came here from the Rota video. Would be interesting to hear someone talk about Work's many, many replicas. Or maybe they were just 80% similar. And who did what first: SSR or Work? So many Work/SSR wheels are twinsies.
Whether the wheels are cool or not isn't the issue. I'm more concerned with spending around four grand on a set of custom, three-piece wheels just to find out they don't fit. That's not something I'm willing to "put up with."
Its important to note that the 2pc and 3pc Work wheels use a cast center, not forged.

Have you had the RSZ wheels refinished? I'm curious to hear your thoughts on powdercoating aftermarket wheels. I've seen horror stories of the metal become weak after the heating from the powdercoating process.

To be honest though, I'd say if you think money, WORK Wheels are the most for the buck. It's great quality for not that much money if you look elsewhere.
Rotiform? WatercooledInd VIP Modular? BBS? Leon Hardiritt? Way more manufacturers, but a lot more money than a Work wheel for the most part.

Would love to see a video about Katana wheels. Just picked some Katana KR33's for my Volvo 745ti, they look great and they seem pretty quality for the money. I am running a pretty big sidewall on them since they are only 15's so not too worried about cracking.

Sweet! Yeah I am not sure how long the company has been out there, but there are a lot of wheels made by them on eBay and other vendors these days.
I'm sure XXR, Miro, VSR, etc are good but they are nowhere near the quality of Volk, Advan, BBS, OZ, etc. For $2k, I'd take a used set of the latter than new XXRs or Miros.
They look amazing but are heavy as hell. 17x8 Kiwamis are 20.5 lbs...

I picked up a pair of work meister S1 2pc for 900 aud 2nd hand from a mate who drifts there 18x9 and 18x10 and look so good on my 180SX and the correct time period there light and strong love work wheels.

it's actually a misheard name, it's called WOLK, but the Japanese makers couldn't pronounce the L so it came out as WORK.

Actually in Malaysia 4 Work wheels cost about Rm1500 which if you convert to USD is divided by 4. So its consider cheap. Which means 300+ dollars😂
