Just ordered my Konig Countergrams hyper chrome face with the machine lip 15x8 25+ ready to slap some 205/50/15 Toyo Eclipse A/S tires once they get here so I can install them on 94 Honda Civic EG8 sedan to hit the mountains with style next
Thanks a lot for this info about Konig. I've been really interested in their whole flow formed lineup, especially the Hypergrams. No one really bought them in the past and I didn't really know the quality of their wheels. Was solely afraid because of how cheap they are, even the flow formed. Definitely will be picking up a set of Hypergrams when I get some spare funds.
I have Konig Heliums on my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage and love them. They balanced great (one didn't need any weights at all) no noticeable run-out, and look awesome. They've held up to Northern Virginia potholes so far!
Can't wait till this channel blows up, such detailed information on all your vids and a consistent amount of uploads a week, this is the kind of information I needed when I started getting into wheels and cars. I love your whole concept! Keep up the amazing work guys :)
I bent an OEM ray wheel, so I picked up a set of 19' Konig Crosshairs 10 years ago.The G35 is still rocking them. Only once I moved to the South did I find out about wheel brands. I am finally going to retire the Konigs and getting something serious, but this history video was great!
NukexD.....This channel is pretty badass, I am subscribed. I really like Work Durandal DD10.5, but they discontinued them. I'm looking for the same style. Everything else is done to the G, so it is time to get some new shoes no doubt.
Love my 18" Ultraforms, I live in an area with horrible roads and they take a licking! They're also so much lighter than the factory wheels, when I swap from the factory wheels with my winter tires on them to my Konigs I can feel the difference in rotational mass and unsprung weight..........all that and they cost me $700 for a set of 18x9" flow formed wheels............
I bought a set of Black Konig Lightinings this year for my Red 08 Fit. I can honestly say they're a noticeable upgrade from the OEM steel wheels in terms of handling on hard corners, I even had the same cheap ass Barium tires on them from my old wheels.
I got a set of Konig Runlite Gold with Pirelli P Zeros for about the same price as some people get a set of tires ($771 taxes, installation, disposal, and such). Slapped them on a Corolla, YEET!
John Csontos unless you’re widebody, that probably won’t fit... without stupid stretch and camber. I used to wanna put Watanabes on my FR-S, a commonly used size on the stock body is 16x8.5 -6, and people throw 205/50/16 tires on that. Personally not my thing anymore as I like to maximize performance, but it looks badass...
I came here after i saw the wheels on the new 2020 supra (the yellow paint at sema) i love the design. And it has such great history in movie and games .
Along time ago I had a set of konig tuner2 wheels on my old sti and smashed one, they had discontinued that line of wheel but luckily advanti racing manufactured that exact same wheel. Bit of a repaint adding the black accents and a center cap swap and you couldn't tell which was the odd wheel out lol
Konig - mostly made in China (cast and ff), some in Malaysia (cast). YHI has been doing OEM for years (e.g. Proton), so for Konig doing OEM, not an issue.
Sorry, I meant the gold ones. Not "hold" The gold ones AND the black ones. But since you've already told me what the black ones were, I just wanna know what those gold 6 spoke directionals with the scoop thingies around the edge are. And are you really sure the black ones are RSR R802's? Because I looked those up, and they're not the same. The black wheel I'm talking about right next to the gold 6-spoke directional with 'scoops' ALSO has scoops, itself.... And the R802 does not. (Furthermore, I can't find either wheel anywhere on RSR's lineup.
@@FitmentIndustries 5:06 is the ampliform. The one at 6:41 has more spokes. I just bought the bronze 19x9.5 ampliform from you guys. Can't wait for it to arrive!
@@FitmentIndustries the MRII doesn't quite look like what I'm seeing, but the S5R does look a lot like that wheel. It's a shame it's not made in 19 in. I'm looking out for wheel options closer to the S5R in 19 in for a Genesis Coupe.
Tom Herten YES! O.Z is really interesting! A lot of production cars have wheels produced by O.Z! He should cover all that, plus the classic 80's and 90's wheels, like the FUTURA for example! Etc... ✌
Thanks for this video! I'm looking to buy a set of Hypergrams myself. Just need one question answered. Which has more concavity? The 18x8.5 +35 or the 18x9.5 +25?
Definitely something we are trying to get on the site! There are just so many different sizes and other variables to jump through so it will take some time!
Weight was the determining factor for buying my wheels and I had to keep going to different manufacturers websites to get numbers, was a pain in the butt
im looking budget wheels for my daily. i found two options its either the Konig dial in or the sparco assetto gara. both looks awesome for me i just need you guys help and reference if you own either one of them. i live in a country with a very shitty roads so i need one that is strong thanks!
I’m looking for a good looking wheels and tires for the following: Porsche 982 718 2017 20 inc. the cayman is Guards Red. Do you understand what I’m looking for?????
What's the right fitment (offset) for BMW 1 series F20s without the wheel sticking out or rubbing the suspension, been looking at 17" Hypergram and odd that not a lot of bmw runs Konig haha curious why.

I got me a full set of Konig Unknown's (discontinued I believe) for my 06 mustang worth brand new water tread tires all for $400. But I am new to the channel, you guys got your own rim shop?
I have quite a bit of facial hair. It's really not all it's cracked up to be, unless you just really want an impressive beard. Now that that's out of the way, I appreciate the informative video about Konig. Here’s another topic for y’all: the lightest wheels on the market currently.
Uriah Siner yessss please
Probably Enkei RPF1
Awesome idea man! We’ll hop on this one quick 🙌🏽
enkei mat and konig flow formed line pretty much dominate this. there are a lot of others but finding them in sizes and in stock can be a pain.
Carbon Revolution would easily win
Picking up some Konig tandems for my rio soon, I’ve always loved Konigs designs and variety of sizes they carry
