By the end of Bucks life I truly believe he was a born again man and I listen to his music daily not to many 41 Year old gals like me can say that. The Bakersfield sound is definitely my favorite of country music. Thank you Buck your gone but will never be forgotten . RIP at Bucks place 😢
I was raised on Bucks music , im 60 . Still love his music , so amazing he performed up to the very end .
I worked for Owens and sons at his Phoenix country station. NOT everything is ACCURATE in this video. He began owning radio stations in the mid-60's with his first station ---KUZZ in Bakersfield which the family still owns today. There was a KNIX-AM in Phoenix, but he also owned KNIX-FM, not KNEX??? that is incorrect. Owens given name was ALVIS EDGAR jr, not Alvin. He also owned a recording studio, talent booking agency, music publishing and real estate. He was a major businessman. He was also a complicated but talented man. Other implied statements in this video are speculative, rumors and not proven. Owens met his first wife Bonnie not in Bakersfield but in Mesa, Arizona where they did meet at a roller rink. In the early 50's they separately moved to California. I see nothing firsthand in the video where his children "candidly shared insights into his life" ????
Agree it’s bs. And needs to be removed
It is Artificial intelligence, putting together a bunch of miss information. This is what we’re going to have to look forward to.
Sorry, misinformation
Always enjoyed Buck Owens & The Buckaroos. Later on HEE HAW & also Later with Dwhite Yoakum. A great entertainer.
Buck Owens was of my favorite country singers, Haggard was just okay but Owens was one of the best in my opinion.
Owens performed fun, cutesy, teeny-bopper songs like "I Don't Care", "My Heart Skips a Beat", "Love's Gonna Live Here" and many others. By comparison, Haggard wrote of deeper, more socially-sensitive subjects like "Branded Man", "Mama Tried", "Okie From Muskogee" and others.
❤❤Rip Buck Owens/Alvin ❤
I just love Buck I miss him every single day his sons are also Awesome 👌
I liked buck Owens when he started out and I really liked the streets of Bakersfield.
One of the best ever 😉💓
I seen Buck at the Hidden Valley Ranch at Agua Caliente, Warm Springs, Fremont, California. I worked in the little stone building known as the Leland Stanford Sherry Solera Room.
His name was Alvis, not Alvin. Alvis E. Owens.
I wonder which one of his wives was the tiger he got by the tail.
Like all other women, they were all just like pianos !! When they weren't upright they were grand !!!!!!😁🎹
This robot is very well-versed in country music.
damn, u said same thing for 5 mins.
Most of this is BS....most of the pics are of Susan Raye of Hew Haw days...
You make a lot of generalized verbal assaults on Buck Owens, but provide absolutely no details or other supporting evidence or references that would back up your claims. Indeed, you're alleging a lot of so-called facts nobody has ever heard. Your promise of his children confirming rumors is a fat lie. All in all, I have to discount everything you claim and deem this another dirty slam against a successful individual whom you most likely wish you could emulate.
Error ridden monologue.
Most of this is bs …
👍
You peddle BS!
